First, I haven't been back here in a while since i cured myself. I came on here to answer an email message i received. I'm annoyed by the responses i got from my post..since i only wanted to help people. I wanted to prevent others from the misery i felt walking around with spots and bumps and crusty looking crap on my face. I Never was able to really feel comfortable in light or look people in the eye. I felt gross and i wanted to help you while you are young. Since i didn't find all the information i posted till late 30's . What i would do to have been all the information i am sharing with you in my teens. I would have given anything to be in some of your shoes to have the information i am handing over to you. I spent days and nights researching what the cause of acne was. By the way..ZZ cream is sold by other places online and not only demodex solutions..i'm recommending the ZZ cream product that comes from china..you don't have to buy from the demodex solutions..that i recommended. I actually had someone that was going to asia and asked them to buy the ZZ cream for me directly from the manufacturer since i wanted to get cheaper prices then demodexsolutions.com. So as you can see i have nothing to do with them and have no interest in having you purchase from them. I was just F'ing trying to help out! GOSH!

2) The Demodex ZZ cream employs both salicylic acid, sulphur and zinc oxide which have been suggested numerous times and shown to be effective in acne and skin treatment, no miracle there. This "Secret Ingredient" could be the miracle part, I guess. The other ingredients can be found over the counter for much cheaper without curios "secret" ingredients.
3) Most Acne is caused by hyper proliferation of the skin cells, i.e. the skin doesn't exfoliate itself correctly. Microcomedoes form as the skin clumps together and doesn't shed properly forming a plug. At a later point, can be whenever, P acne. bacteria start to overproduce in the pore (mind you, EVERYONE has P. acne bacteria, they protect you against staph and various infection). The body realizes the amount of P acnes is too much, causes inflammation and swelling of the pore (Immune response) and thus you a pimple. There is likely little chance these demodex mites cause acne, but it works as a good scare tactic to get people to buy this cream and not realize that the simple ingredients of sulphur, zinc oxide and salicylic acid are doing the job. Get your pores to exfoliate correctly and you will likely not have acne (I reserve that hormonal acne may be different especialyl considering women during menstruation).
4) Just because people with acne have demodex mites, doesn't mean this is what causes acne. All people with acne breath air, does air cause acne? Of course not. Correlation does mean causation.

6) Guys, I know how easy it is want to believe in something that is going to work when everything else failed. I've been there. But you always have to protect yourself and question first, believe second. I dont think you are being negative, I think you are just trying to make us see the other side of this so that we dont go crazy buying some product... I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw that there were secret ingredients in the cream. However I dont think Jenny works for Demodex... to me she seems pretty real... but really how can you tell right? I like her opinions... and her beliefs.... I agree with her on alot of things. But I have to say I probably wont try the demodex.... NO secret ingredients for me.

There will be skeptics everywhere, put sometimes some of the wierdest most ridiculous things work. While I have yet to attack my own mites, I will say that since we are all covered in microscopic bugs anyway, it could stand to reason that they could be screwing with your progress.
It's not a conspiracy theory for business to want to make profit you turds. If you had a million dollar industry under your control, and one day all of it was gone, I'm pretttttyyy suurre you wouldn't be too happy about it. Think about all the skin care products, if everyone has flawless skin starting tommorow, all those companies would be bankrupt.
I bought the ZZ creme and shampoo a few weeks ago. I've had very persistent comedones on my forehead that never go away, and get a few whiteheads in the same area but usually in my hair (ew). So I figured I'd try these products out.
I started using the ZZ creme on my forehead at night and during the day when I could (you can't go outside with this stuff on) for the first 5 days. I saw improvement immediately. On the 4th day I had a breakout but after that it's been fine. I use the shampoo about every 2 days or so, but have almost stopped the creme (only put it on occasionally).
I can't remember the last time I had such smooth skin on my forehead. It's amazing!
Now as for those "secret" ingredients in the product. Well, the product comes with a list of all the ingredients but I think I threw it out already. However I remember that they were basically herbal stuff, nothing weird as far as I can tell. I'll probably be ordering the product again in the next month or so, so I'll post the ingredients when I can.
I will also say this is the first time I've ever used any sulfur-based products on my skin, so it could simply be just that. But either way, it seems to be working well with my skin. No drying, flakiness, redness, etc.
It is a bit expensive though. But I think I'll continue using it as long as it keeps working

I have a natural medical encyclopedia (Similar to the one in Whole Foods). Under the Rosacea section they list skin mites as the cause for those who are vitamin b deficent. My holistic doctor diagnosis me with rosacea since I am vitamin b deficient. Apparently everyone has skin mites, but those of us who are deficient in vitamin b can host an abnormal level of the mites in our skin. (My vitamin b count was extremely low.)
I not saying I truly buy into this, but I had no idea I was deficient in both my vitamin b & d. According to my doc, once my vitamin b normalizes & I treat my rosacea which has been diagnosis as acne all my life it will clear up. Even accutane & minocycline only helped for a short time. Weall see.
Lastly, I think people have acne for different reasons.

I also was diagnosed with Demodex mites. I did not suffered from acne for 5 years in my early 20s. Went to dermatologists, tried SO many of the common prescriptions - benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, Retin A, antibiotics, ClearLight, etc. I went to a holistic doctor finally. She diagnosed me with these mites, prescribed Xin Famanling Cream with metronidazole and Acarid Removing soap along with some supplement like zinc, black current oil, etc. I went home, used the cream, soap, took supplements and have NEVER had a breakout like I use to have. My skin is clear now. I think it was the cream and soap that specifically got rid of my acne. The supplements were more for overall health - which is always good for the skin.
think of all the bums out there resting their head on urine soaked mattresses. Most of them don't have acne. Don't bother cleaning your pillows e.t.c. Acne is a digestive problem not an external problem. The external problem is only a factor on existing acne which originally came from the digestive problem, geddit.
That's a really good point. I'd like to share my experience regarding this.
First, I think that there's different types of acne out there, hence, different causes. Mine was not a digestive problem - I did gastrointestinal cleanses. Took acidolpholus. I ate healthy. This never helped my acne. However, my acne disappeared IMMEDIATELY after I began using this cream. I think I was lucky in that it worked so quickly. My doctor told me it could take a few weeks. But it didn't. I began getting better after the first night of application.
Second, ABOUT THE BUMS not getting acne:
I asked my doctor why my boyfriend didn't get the same acne after kissing/cuddling/using-same-pillow-as-me. I mean, I had this acne for years. You'd think it would've been contagious. (gross to think about, I know). She told me that some people's skin was just more susceptible to these mites for various reasons. So, basically, your skin first has to be the right habitat (ph balance, oiliness, immunity, etc.) for you to get a outbreak of them. Then you have to be exposed to them.

I don't know how effective they are but I've read of some different tests you can try to see if you actually have demodex mites. One of them is to buy a cheap microscope at some place like Toys are Us, scrape some oil from your face, and then put it on a slide and if you have them you can see them at 400x-1200x magnification. You'll have to find some pictures of them online so you'll know what your looking for.

It dried the skin, I followed it the next day with coconut oil, and omfg, there they were. Freaked me totally out. That was a couple of months ago. I've been researching and wrangling with the little beotches ever since. Still freaks me out that these things live INSIDE our skin -- you can literally rub the skin, and poof there they are (after treatments). And as you theorize, I also believe they are inside and out -- they're so small, they're probably in our lungs, intestines, etc. etc. I read about one girl who cured hers with another remedy, and she said she can now breathe better. I also have issues with breathing, and I look forward to getting it all out of me, so I can breathe better too
I read about the ZZ stuff, and like someone above said, that "secret" ingredient was not acceptable for me. I wanna know what I'm putting on my skin. But I believe that it healed you and others, but like you said, there are other remedies. I haven't bought any of them yet, just been using primarily coconut oil and aloe -- (the brand of aloe I have has alcohol in it, which may help to kill them) the aloe seems to rile them enough to come to the surface. Anyway, the girl I mentioned above cured hers with sea buckthorn products, and that's what I'm going to use. Ordered, and waiting for it to arrive.
It does make sense that people can cure this without ever seeing them or realizing that's what they're curing. First of all, they do not like light -- or sunlight, makes sense that would be a helpful aspect -- getting sun. And yes, sulphur is another thing they don't like...also tea tree oil kills them, neem, etc. They are very, very tiny, but they're not microscopic. I've now seen them at every level of their development. Black specks, cigar-shaped grubs, "pods" with black specks, teeny-tiny black threads that you would never suspect any harm from... And this mite is not rare, it's a fact (google it) that MOST people have some degree of these mites on their bodies. They usually live in the eyebrows/lashes...hair follicles...they cause hair loss. Some people, just like with allergies, apparently have a worse reaction to their presence -- compromised immune system or whatever.
And I agree with pretty much everything you're saying, JennyG. Crazy stuff in this world--it's now coming to a head (no pun, intended, lol), the "sheeple" won't have the luxury of their denial much longer. I just hope we can survive it all -- to enjoy our healthy new skin Congratulations on yours, and keep your chin up, and thanks again for having the courage to put the truth out there to help others.
