i started B5 Vilantea, for the first 4 days i took 10 tablets per day, then after the 4th day i took 20 per day, i am now on my 9th day..

to start off with taking the 10 a day it seemed to be clearing, i was seeing great results, then now taking 20 a day my face has just exploded with loads of new spots and its getin me fukin pissed off!

i didnt have bad acne, i had mild but now its gone 20 times as worse

Is this normal for B5 Vilantea when u start using it it makes ur face go alot worse then flairs down to no spots?

i started vilantae about two weeks ago and my face is now clear. i am also using differin cream and taking minomycin. all i have noticed is that my lips and eyes get a bit dry although this could be because i let the water run on my face in the shower for a couple of minutes.

im going to keep taking 20 per day until the first bottle is gone and then start taking 15 for the next bottle then 10 for the next then just stay on 5 considering i don't start breaking out

it says on the vilantae website that you may break out a bit in the first 3 months of treatment although this is normal.

my advice is just to stick to their directions which is 20 per day.

also if you have any questions about vilantae they cover it pretty well on their website so ust look around for a bit

good luck

brad

Well I am on day 28 on B5. I am also taking vitamins: b-complex, multi-vit, zinc, and biotin. I take the full 10 grams a day (20 pills)

sadly I just got my web cam but honestly my back really doesn't look any better than when I started taking this stuff. Frankly I am a little worried but I realize that I have to give this stuff at least 3 months to make any judgements. I will post pics of my back every now and then to show you guys my progress.

Pic of my terrible back:

I think that I will also start taking sea salt baths soon to see if that helps as well.

yes, the powder works amazing and I take it i a shake or with water and raw honey as the honey helps digestion. My skin has no oil on it now and I have gotten no new acne now. just clearing up from the past some old stuff. but all this stuff is drying out. THe jessfoll cause me to purge a little bit and theb b5 is cleaning that up nicely.

Has anybody tried applying B5 topically? Does it have the same adverse effects as injesting it?

Why are you guys wasting time taking dozens of pills a day?

I use B5 (royal jelly) in a serum from www.perfectcomplexion.net - honest to God this stuff is worth its weight in GOLD, it clears you up like no tomorrow and gets rid of all your dead skin...

I'm using it now in conjunction with my Accutane course because my skin is so damn stubborn ... but I used this stuff for 2 months prior to my 'tane course and it was a great preparation ... the 'tane has a lot less work to do now!! :D

before passing judgement on b5 try taking it for the whole 3 months like ur supposed to.

no treatment for acne works overnight. some people who take accutane don't see any results until their last month (6th month) of treatment.

just be patient and let it do its thing

kind regards,

Brad

p.s. use vilantae

I think b5 is working great. 3 weeks in and i dont have a simple pimple on my face. I only had 2 when i started, but overall my skin just looks much better. it has even controlled my oil, which was my main problem. good stuff so far. i will keep it up for 3 months at least.

Hello,

I plan to only take 6 pills (500 MG each). I will take 2 at morning, 2 at lunch, and 2 at dinner. Do I still need the B Complex pill? Or will I suffer side effects with the low dosage of only 3 grams of B5 a day? I drink Red bull engergy drinks and they have B6 and B12 in them but I don't drink them often with this even out the low dosage of B5 I'm taking?

If I'm only taking a low dosage of B5 (3 grams a day) Do I have to take the B-Complex pill? and if so. How many should I take for the 3 grams of B5 I'm taking per day? I plan to stay at this low dosage and go lower over some months.

Thank You & God Bless,

Destiny :)

I want to put out a warning to people about my experience with B5!

I purchased 500mg tablets and a B-50 complex one week ago (Sunday) and started taking only 4 grams a day with a complex. On Tuesday, after only a little over 2 days of taking B5 (part of Sunday, Monday and Tuesday) I started to get real bad diarrhea. I knew this was supposed to be a side effect but it only got worse on wednesday (like waking up all night worse) so I stopped the B5 tuesday night. The diarrhea lasted wednesday, thursday, friday and parts of saturday while on no B5.

However my skin was better the whole week and I'm convinced it might work. So I will be starting again tomorrow taking 1 gram a day and working up.

My advice would be to start VERY low on your doses, perhaps 1 gram a day and work your way up until you see results. It might just be me, but if I had gone from 5grams to 10grams I would be in very very bad shape right now!

So start slow with the B5 everyone!

I'm on 3 weeks and 2 days of taking it. I was taking the SOLGAR brand until recently but got the powder from Bulk Nutrition. I'm going to buy empty capsules to fill them up cause the powder tastes disgusting!!! Also I dont know but something tells me its not as potent as the SOLGAR brand as that had me going to the bathroom daily and this does not.

Which brand are u all trying

I'm using Vitamin Shoppe brand which was VERY effective, as you can see from my previous post  I'm almost back to normal now and will be starting the B5 again probably tomorrow..

i am using the same and getting great results. the vitamin shoppe brand is time released tho, which i read is not the best, but it seems to be working fine. i started out with the GNC brand, but then switched because of the price difference.

Wondering if anyone on B5 has had a similar experience (I'm looking for the light at the end of the tunnel!) I've been using vilantae for three weeks sticking exactly to their programme but I'm beginning to get worried. My skin (already quite oily) became much oilier after about five days and it remains pretty disgusting. The company's website says typically it takes 3-4 weeks to notice a decline in oil but in my case returning to what it was before would be a start! I'm starting a new job soon and I'm freaking out a bit about sticking with the treatment. Thanks.

Its ok, your skin when on B5 goes through a purging stage and this can last anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. Some people suffer from breakouts during the purging stage, others suffer from oil galore! Stick with it, it will dry up and after about 3 months you should see continuous improvement! :D

Cheers! :D I'll stick it out and pray it goes quickly. It's strange though - I've actually noticed an improvement in the general redness on my forehead and under eyes despite the increased oil which doesn't really make sense.
