Lecithin has gotta be one of the oldest supplements, and it's pretty easy to find at the store in the bulk foods aisle where there's bulk spices. It's used in food to bind fat and water, which is one of the reasons you always add eggs to a bakery item, or use an alternative source like soy lecithin if you're doing vegan baking. I've heard bryan say that most lecithin is oxidized, though. It'll make you very clearheaded.

Can somebody recommend the best brand of borage oil preferably in liquid form or something strong so that I dont have to swallow 10 capsules.
Also, it'll be really helpful if we could collate the success of the people who have started this program as this sound to be one of the most simple regimens on this forum,

I am using the Now brand. And its in capsule form(60 caps per bottle)
I would personally suggest to buy 2 bottles of it..because it runs out fast(since were eating them like candy ) So it'll last you twelve days, rather then only 6 days.

umm I can't tell you what those herbs where called, but they were supposed to help with acne and "too much liquid in your system" ( they made me stick out my tongue so they could see if it was red enough, no it wasn't so therefore too much liquid blahblah)
anyway, I'd feel more confident with the GLA approach but I'm too scared to have another go just now. I'll try to find liquid borage oil in the meantime and then look at it until I pluged up enough courage
I'm thinking about having a go at primrose again as I always just take one primrose capsule (100mg of GLA) with tane and milk to get the most effective absorbation. but it's one of those "boots-take-one-a-day" capsules so I don't think it does anything for my skin when it's so little.
but somehow I don't really want to spend a fortune on oil capsules. trying to keep in stock with borage is one thing but with primrose which has even less GLA in it it would be nonsens....
and when it comes to diet. I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't eat sweets often, I live to 90% on vegetables and fruit and I don't eat bread. basically, I'm trying to put as less crap into myself as possible without losing my joy for food or the ability to socialise.
funny enough, I can't even tell if it's worth it or not because I'm on tane and this has surprise! surprise! cleared me up to 99%. but I keep telling myself that I'm a very healthy person now and that I don't miss waking up in a place not knowing what happened the other night.

mommalove- make sure you are not drinking the tea within 1/2 hour either side of taking borage oil. tea has a chemical that inhibits certain nutrients.

thx fuZ....It's been one week...already clearing and feel great! Although I believe the clearing is becuase I stopped the BP and TTO topical junk....tea tree is for acne/oily skinl..yeah, well ironically I think it is what was makin' me itch and breakout worse! ALSO...great to be off the minocycline...NO MORE HEADACHES! YEAH! I use simple gentle wash and just be kind to my skin...Borage oil is goin' great! I take the high dose...no lecithin though, but I take my capsules with milk and try to eat an egg for breakfast most days (then I get some lecithin anyway, lol). I'll keep on and let cha' know!

HEY! as 'someoneintheuk' advised...it is prrrrretttty nasty to take the oil....so go with the capsules... I found Borage Oil "NOW" brand it is 1050mg borage oil...so I take 4 a day....2 wbrkfst and 2 w/dinner...5000mg of borage oil/day..... this is only 960mg of GLA/day...(someintheuk reccomends 2000mg gla/day to begin)...I also can't stomach the 8 pills a day..but this is going better than I thought! Drink with milk and goes down smooth...I'm gonna stick with this for now.....sorry if that was confUZin'. I just think you'll do better long term if ya go capsule form....you may quickly tire of the nasty oil taste otherwise! Either way...best of luck!!!!

ARGH, me too...I want to take my multi-vit...but 'someoneintheuk' advised that is a no go! I don't know about the rest, but prob. best to quit the multi-vit for now.....talk to someonintheuk for more info...
Just wanted to shoot out an update on this regieme.
Its cleared up all my forming and marks on the backs of my arms, shoulders. As well as the two I had on my chest!
And I didn't use anything else on those areas, espchilly..NONE at all.
Usaully I cleanse daily in the shower with an back brush. Then spot treat with some acne treatment.
I was at the store today... and saw how cheap evening primrose oil was while getting more MSM. Only 6 bucks for 90 capsules. Well, what the hell I thought. It can't hurt. But wow, you guys are really megadosing this stuff...
I also got some lecithin, as I remembered how dirt cheap it was and how it makes me really clear headed and sharp...
I'm gonna add the lectithin to my green smoothies, then take the GLA with coconut or kefir for fat.
