I will keep this short....ish.

L-theanine. Kava root. Passion Flower. Poppy Flower. Hops. Turmeric Root. Valerian root. Niacin (flushing kind for vaso-dilation, no more than 100 mg at a time or can cause damage to blood vessels). Ashwaganda. Mucuna Pruriens. Magnesium Carbonate drink mixes (there's a few on the market, don't over consume or you will get the runs). Chammomile. Tryptophan. 5-HTP. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid, liposomal C). Vitamin D. Carlson Labs (or another quality brand) cod liver oil for epa and dhea and anti-inflamation via omega 3 fatty acids/vit D and vit A). Citrulline/Agamatine Sulfate/Glycerol/Norvaline/Arginine(all 5 work towards vaso-dilation via production of nitric-oxide), which helps you relax and can lower blood pressure.

Lemon Balm. GABA (although research is still being conducted on how easily this can cross the blood brain barrier). Tart cherry juice.

Kefir/Kombucha help to re-populate your gut with beneficial bacteria that has been shown to produce Serotonin, which gives you a feeling of calm and deep sleep at night.

As much as life can suck, and it can....at night simply go through all of the reasons you have to be thankful for things, and how much worse they could be. This has helped me a great deal to keep things in perspective.

I am quite certain that I am missing some things in this post, so feel free to add your own personal stress combating remedies as well.

I have used each of these aforementioned, so this is not me parroting something I have read on a website. In my own personal battle with stress and anxiety, these have provided the greatest relief.
