I can't go anywhere without makeup on

I am just so fed up that every morning during the school year I have to put on makeup. Even with it on it doesn't fully cover up my acne. I wish I could just go anywhere bare faced and feel normal. It's not fair I try my best to be a good person and be nice to others. I just don't understand how I still have acne. Every time my acne clears up, I get more in other areas of my face. All of my friends and family have perfect skin and when they complain that they have one tiny not noticeable pimple it makes me so mad. My friends are so pretty and they have so much confidence. I just sometimes think about how much prettier I would be without acne. Acne is ruining my life, I used be so confident in everything and now I have so much anxiety that I sound like I can't even speak English. I used to be so outgoing like my friends or even more but now every time I like a boy they always like my friends and not me probably because I am shy now because of my acne and I will probably never get a boyfriend because of this. I just feel so alone and ugly. Nobody understands.

Aw sweetie this post is so heartbreaking I am literally on the same boat. Having problem skin while wishing for clear skin and having friends with perfect skin, is honestly so devastating and disappointing. :( youll getthrough this tho. I promise. ....do you have an instagram? If so look up the 3 accounts "myfacestory" "prettypotato21" && "asprinkleofhealthandbeauty"
those ladies are so so inspirational they dealt with acne  and deal w/ bad scarring but make it look BADASS. and post a lot of inspiring comments that have seriously made me feel hope again. In my opinion......Benzoyl peroxide DOES work for acne, give it a try. Your confidence will come back, take advantage of this time to see WHO YOUR TRUE FRIENDS ARE.  However, try not to be so mad at those that don't understand that haven't dealt with acne before  This can be tough for them to empathize.
You can have beautiful skin again, find a good regimen for you and don't be afraid to rock your beautiful natural face. When you show confidence (no matter what flaw you may have) guys will notice and like you! Don't fret babe, you'll get through this hiccup. I Know how tough it could be seeing those with flawless skin. Remember we all have insecurities, don't let your skin affect everything going on. You can still see your beautiful face underneath the blemishes 🙂 we may feel gross  when in reality others can see our beauty.  Let your awesome personality rise above those silly vain blemishes. When theyre gone you're still YOU, and you'll see that you were always beautiful. :D
 feel better. Msg  me anytime.

Why to feel low, its normal to have acne in growing age. If acne is making you conscious you can consult a doctor and get them treated in a correct manner. Don't be so dishearten. Love yourself the way you are and stay happy.

Hugs to you @changingleaves916... I've said this in many of my posts.. easier said than done but take it one day at a time. This will pass. Be with friends who does not judge you for what you look like but loves you for your whole personality. Be with them often as they are your true friends who'll never leave.

There are a lot of ways out there, maybe you can try a natural method like the pumpkin masque, it dries up acne pretty fast. I swear by it. The impt thing is do something. Don't let your acne control your life. You control that s***. Best of luck dear!

That's the least I can do.. I know how we all struggle here and if I can 'help' at least one or two, I'd be happy. :)

I'm in the same boat! I'm trying so hard to get clear skin, but I know it takes time. I just turned 22 and went to the dermatologist at the beginning of the summer. She put me on Epiduo Forte and panoxyl face wash. This regimen cleared my skin up in about a week, but recently my skin has been freaking out. I think it's in the purging stage. Also, at first I was using panoxyl creamy facewash with 4% benzoyl peroxide, but as directed by the dermatologist, got the foaming wash with 10% benzoyl peroxide. I think this dried my face out way too much, which also might be why I broke out. I switched back to the other cleanser two days ago and have seen improvement in the last two days. I hope so much it keeps getting better. It is killing my confidence and like you, I feel like I need makeup on. I'm going on vacation tomorrow and really don't want to be worrying about covering up blemishes the whole time and feeling bad about myself. I've been so down lately because of acne.
That was a long rant, but although I don't take my own advice, I think you should just be you and not worry about it. You're beautiful with or without acne. I think other people with acne are still beautiful (just not myself) haha. I would go to the dermatologist if I were you. I should have went so so long ago and I would probably be acne-free by now. It's so worth it to treat your acne if you're feeling low about yourself. When I finally had clear skin for a few weeks, I was so happy. I can't wait to get that back. If you can't get to the dermatologist, I recommend the off brand cetaphil daily moisturizer with SPF morning and night and the acne creamy face wash offbrand of Panoxyl morning and night. Best of luck!

I'm completely clear, but I have scarring and so I feel very self conscious without makeup on. I feel like I can't really go out without it on unless i'm sick. And scars don't go away. Not the kind I have. :(
