Has anyone heard of any online programs designed to help women with adult acne improve their quality of life and build their self-confidence as well as give them tips, strategies and tactics for ways to improve their skin?
I guess if you could design such a thing, what would be its key features? What would make you invest in the program?
What do you think?
Why just women? I always feel like male sufferers are kind of.. Pushed aside. Even when a family member went to pick up a prescription of accutane for me, the pharmasist said "oh it's so much worse for women than men.."
And I don't understand why haha.
So first suggestion would be to not segregate haha..
Also, in all honesty, I think this site is more than enough. People always ask a variety of questions which are answered almost instantly, so I'm personally not sure if another site would be needed.

People say its worse for woman cuz girls always have to look pretty and have clear skin. We have alot of pressure because of it. But I know for men it must be as hard as for us woman I think its just some people care more about their skin than others. I know for myself I always want to look pretty and because of my acne I litteraly feel ugly and disgusting because I see clear skin everywhere!! But I have some friends who has acne and deal with it alot more easly. I think its a personnal emotional problem.

WHY is always women's acne is made out to be worse/more important than male acne... I DONT GET TO COVER MY ACNE WITH MAKE-UP..
Female privilege in society, where no one cares about men's problems.

Did you see that "you look disgusting" video? It doesn't mention men who suffer from acne, and 95% of all acne related videos on youtube are for girls by girls... I just feel abit alienated sometimes
It's true, men do not seem to get the same level of attention as women do when it comes to the acne struggle, but I'm a woman. That's where my interest lies. However, I'm interested in entertaining your feedback and would still like to know. This website is great, but can you send me links to forums/blogs on here that focus on tactics that people use to help build their self-confidence and increase their quality of life, while improving their skin. Our condition isn't just a physical struggle, it's an emotional one too, as Porswis mentioned in her reply. Imanuglymofo, men can definitely wear concealor. That's a masculine lifehack LOL. It's your choice if you choose to or not.

Perhaps the OP asked for a site directed at women because she's a woman? Just a wild guess...
Girls are sexualized in media and in society. They are more likely to be sexually assaulted, and are looked down upon way more than ugly guys. Even in the fashion industry, most "cool" clothes for girls are sexually provocative clothes.
They are stared at and cat called way more often, and to walk around with acne when you know people are staring just sucks.
Yes, there is less sympathy for boys, but girls are more likely to need it, And guys wear makeup, too. Just look at Kourtney Kardashian's husband. So many rich people wear makeup, it's not even funny.
I agree with the fact that men are just as sexualized...I'm gay, and trust me, being homosexual with acne isn't easy hah.
Men can wear makeup, and I admit I have in the past and still wear bits of concealer, but it IS socially weird and looked down upon for a man. On the other hand, it is perfectly acceptable for a woman. I mean.. Just look at the amount of acne-coverage foundation routines on youtube, literally all of them are women. Women already get ten times the amount of support men do. Sure women need support, but no more than men. It's easier to just stick together and support eachother.
I disagree. I'll be the asshole devil here, but women have it way worse off than men when it comes to sexuality. I did have times when girls approached me, then were horrified once they saw my acne, but girls get this type of attention more often. I never have to walk outside and worry about being catcalled. I've had my butt grabbed only once, and that was at a bad school. The girls there got grabbed/smacked 5 times a day, and dry humped twice a day, and this is only the school day. A girl was even raped in the bathroom, and I know I'd never have to worry about that in school.
Keep in mind, guys don't get raped as often as girls in the United States, even with our prison population.
Female janitors and cleaners are taken advantage of way too often, and women moving up in the ranks of society like judges, lawyers, etc., have gotten sexually harassed as they climbed to the top. Many Female adolescences withdraw from sports by age 12 because it's looked at as useless. They will lose their "feminine figure" and less boys may be into them.
In the hood, attractive girls are more likely to be pimped, whereas boys will be encouraged to join gangs and commit violence. Even in gangs, girls are often "sexed" in, and they are often ordered to carry things to the boys in prisons inside of their vaginas. They are also encouraged to service the men by having sex with them when visiting the prison. (yes there are ways this can happen! Prison is corrupt)
If we want to talk outside the United States, in wars women are more likely to be raped to death. I don't care what country we're talking about, it's likely to happen.
We are discussing sexuality, not homicides, homelessness, and suicides.
Even so, how does that trump what I said? Did you even read my posts? Because your post is pretty irrelevant to mine. Even so, girls worse off than boys in the world. And males have more privilege than women in most places in the world. That picture is offensive. It's sarcastic in nature.
I can be immature and put up offensive content as well, but I'll just give you real hard statistics:

The sexualization of women ties into appearance which is the bases of her website. You didn't respond to my comment, you just posted an offensive picture that has nothing to do with the topic of appearance. And I explained why it was offensive in my previous comment. But clearly you aren't actually reading my comments, so here:

P.S.
You can't compile female rape statistics, either, because most go unreported.
Arguments aside, it's sad to see that society has fought so hard against segregation yet that is what is being pushed here. I'm happy that the owner of this site wasn't so selfish to make it a site only for white people because he is white. But it's sad to see some people are going the sexist route and trying to push help for only their specific gender.

Did he just call me a sexist? Let me ask you something, when shopping for a razor to shave your facial hair, assuming you have facial hair, do you think more men grab the women's razor or the men's? You don't even have to answer this in this forum. You can keep the answer to yourself. The point is, I'm pretty sure men are more likely to grab a men's razor, but why? They're just blades, right? They do the same job, right? So why would a man want a men's razor blade when the women's blade offers the same basic functionality?........because it's TAILORED SPECIFICALLY TO THE NEEDS of a male. .............. ........again, they both offer the SAME BASIC FUNCTIONALITY, but one choice offers a little bit more, caters alittle bit more to the needs of the individual. That's all I'm saying.

I see what you're saying, Lucas. But in situations like this, it's called for. Girls are affected way worse appearance wise than boys are. It matters more because of sexism and prejudices. Just like the NAACP was badly needed when it was first born. It stood behind the victims of horrible brutal situations like rapes, killings, false indictments, college education, etc.
Girls have only recently gotten a decent amount of rights in the U.S. and the U.S. is a leader in women's rights around the world, and we still have too many issues with sexism and domestic violence, killings, and rapes here. So a lot of the other nations are a living hell for women. Like India, a lot of African countries, Thailand, etc.
