Does it not kill anyone else how acne is seen as an "ugly" feature - as though, if you suffer from acne you are deemed instantly ugly.
Whether its the media, tv shows or your friends I've realized recently that "acne" is often used as a synonym for "gross" and "ugly".
It has recently really started to bug to me the point where I've refused to leave the house - whether its to go to class or see friends - because I have become crippled by these comments. Anyone who is looking at me (especially guys) I instantly think "they are judging me for how disgusting and ugly I am".
I don't know how to get over this.
"To refuse to leave the house, whether it's to go to class/work or to see friends": same things, when it's Bagdad puissance 10 on my face.
And your reason "They are judging me for how disguting and ugly I am", is the same excuse going around in my head.
But the problem is that it is just in our head. People don't really judge you for acne. It does not make a person ugly or not.
Don't let your confidence be determinated by a reflection you see in a mirror.
