This comes up a lot. I certainly had no idea the extent to which my depression and anxiety was triggering my acne. I thought it was the other way around- it certainly didn't help my acne when life got bad and I broke out.
Anyway, came across this locked topic in another search and think the poster states the explanation for this psychological link to acne.
Who is taking care of their mental health as diligently as they treat their skin? If you have tips for others, please share and check out the responses on the ^ thread.
It's a dilema because I can't force myself not to overthink about something and when I do the idea actually gets amplified inside my head and makes me stress-out more which leads to even more breakouts
Also I think that anxiety is one of the fundamental emotions of being a human so why can't I just be anxious about something like 100% of normal people do all the time when they are worried or thinking about solving a particular situation without getting my face all covered up in inflammations !!! Let's be honest here life isn't quite a piece of cake, So does it mean that I have to disable the most important part of my body (Brain) which is responsible for all my funcionalities in order to have a clear skin !!!! ?
