So I'm on my third month of accutane and am starting to realize that my face is never going to be back to where it was before all of this acne crap. I'm starting my junior year of college in August and I just don't know if I can do this anymore. Sick of acting like I'm alright when inside I feel like I'm falling apart,,,,

Hi Jordan. First of all, you're not alone....far from it. Many of us have been where you are and some of us are still struggling to find ourselves. Accutane definitely intensifies feelings like you're having so it may not be all you. Also, even though you may not look like you did pre acne, accutane works for the majority of people who use it, even if for a short period of time. Try to keep yourself busy as you go through this rough patch and if you need to fall apart, fall apart - you can reach out to anyone here and they'll be here to help you.

Stay strong brotha

I couldn't agree more with the user above! You just have to try and keep your head up and know that they're others fighting the same fight you are. Try to keep yourself busy, and put your emotion into something that you really enjoy; try to focus it into something productive (as apposed to destructive~). Also the drug accutane can give you low days, but it is very effective at keeping most people clear.. Also your skin heals so much over the 6 month time-frame after you complete the course, so it really could be so much better than you expect!

Just like leelowe1 said, if you feel the need to reach out; plenty of users (myself included) would be glad to help however they can.
