feels like i havent been here for ages!! I'm feeling tons better, at the moment I only have one spot and marks on my left cheek. I feel really paranoid, as if I can't enjoy my skin because I don't want to jinx it. Whenever I think my skins improving it always ends up getting worse! I've stopped picking at my skin and have stopped hiding away in my house, and have been going to the gym loads and seeing friends. Think thats helped a lot because it keeps my mind of my skin and stops me from touching my face!
I really hope things continue to improve x
I decided to use the webcam to take a picture of my shirt to post on FB, but I looked at my face and it was TERRIBLE
. I looked worse than the mirror.
This is a HD 1080p webcam. I remember using this before when my skin looked good.. skin looked great, xcept for scars. Now it is a lot worse. Oh well. As a male, it is hard to cover red marks and scars
It is time to ignore my skin.. skin is screwed, so why should I care if I get new pimple. As long as I am eating healthy and exercising, I should careless.
sometimes I feel bad for guys I wouldnt know what I'd do without my makeup!! Wouldn't leave without it!

I'm glad you're feeling better! My skin was finally healing, but then .. grr I really don't wanna get back to BP. I am getting more scars now.. ;; Im gonna end up like my father if I keep breaking out on cheek. He doesn't want me to end up like him ;\. My scars isn't that bad yet, but if I keep breaking out then it will be bad. I think I can treat new scars.. but the old ones, it is late
I apply aloe vera (fresh) which helps. I'm doing more research for treating acne scars. ^^ I never pop my pimples on cheek, but I always pop it by accident when I shower.. I always try to be gentle
My scars are very little though which is good.
Currently I'm mostly clear....which is somewhat weird
So I've been to the beach a couple of days ago and gotten a really minor sunburn (Nothing even noticeable, slightly red face....honestly, nothing even close to getting used to benzoylperoxide) so I do a google search and find out that moisturizing my skin + drinking water is pretty much the way to go to fix this quickly.
So I figured since I had a job interview the next day: no benyolperoxide since I didn't want more redness.
Status right now: I haven't used any benzoylperoxide in probably about 4 days and am currently trying out the following routine:
800 ml water after I wake up, 400 ml at lunch, 400 ml at diner totaling to a little over 1.5 liters of regular tap water each day.
General guideline: clear pee
I'm VERY curious how this holds up after a few days.

I really need to start drinking water after I wake up ;\.. I should drink at least 2 bottles of water. I was clear when I stopped using BP for like 1-2 months, then it started to get worse. So careful! I stopped applying it 'cause I don't want chemicals on my skin anymore. I broke out bad and still not applying BP! I said to myself that I don't care how bad it gets, but nomore bp
Today they aren't painful.. I only have 4 which they are on right cheek. Left cheek, forehead, and shin, etc.. are clear, but have scars and some red marks. I dunno why I keep breaking it out close to where I break out. Still doing research to treat scars naturally. My scars wasn't bad, but noticeable.. now it doubled since I broke out more. Hopefully I can get rid of some!! I need to focus scars on forehead since I have a lot.
right cheek has always been bad, but not left cheek at all
seems like I have to change diet a little bit and eat more leafy greens.. like, more smoothies. Gonna try just drinking smoothies or might buy a juicer and do juice fast for a while.
Feel totally bad... I have been attending school for 2 days, and put heavy foundation and I feel guilty as well seem am making my skin much worst by doing so, I am developing an acne on my right cheek, I can feel that's a big one!? Awww not on my right cheek, my right cheek makes push me to be more positive coz its all dried up compare as how horrible my left cheek is =/. Oh well I guess in fighting and beating this acne, you really have to take courage, esp. tomorrow I'll try to go to school without any foundation on! Hope I'll manage through.
My skin feels itchy btw or is it just me?
My skin feels as smooth as a baby face. Seems like jojoba oil tricks my skin because my skin is no longer greasy. I do still have red marks and like 4-5 dried pimples which 2 of them are ugly and noticeable. I've been applying essential oil called lavender oil therapeutic grade on my pimples and redness and it seems to help a bit. I also had a small bumps that might form big, but this thing made it red and it is tiny... I think whitehead coming out in a bit, but won't be bad. We'll see how it goes with this oil. But yeah, my skin still looks terrible.. especially outside in the sun. It is 95 F degrees today, but don't even wanna go out.. I wanted to go cycling. I might.
Today, I'm so happy with my skin. I am clearing up a lot... if I didn't get this 3 pimples I got like a week ago, my skin would look so good..Still red marks though and I hope my scars won't be the size as it is now.. >_>
This is what I did which you have to be patient :
I stopped applying BP 3 months ago and just let all the toxins out of the skin.
I decided to apply natural products on my skin, so far, I am applying Aztec healing clay (every other day), Aloe vera fresh (3 times daily), Jojoba oil (I use it in the shower to wash face as it absorbs quick), and finally started using Essential oil (the lavender Oil therapeutic grade ) I use it directly to my acne scars and active pimples. This thing did a good job drying pimples fast and bringing some bumps into head which won't get inflamed at all.
I also started drinking a lot of water. I take turmeric powder (1-2 tsp) with coconut water and just drink it fast.. The taste is unbearable..
PS: BP kept me clear, but my skin didn't look natural and looked bad, even though I was clear... now I see big improvements.. my skin is very smooth and looks natural. Doing this got me more scars though and lots of breakouts since BP used to prevent breakouts.
I hope I don't get big pimples anymore!! I might though.. not sure. I will try to avoid the mirror and ignore my skin.
My right cheek was yellow 'cause of turmeric.. not good. I had an interview too.. I hope nobody noticed it..
I applied this turmeric yesterday and my skin is still yellow.. I showered twice already. I can't apply turmeric anymore..
try this recipe:
-2 tablespoons of plain greek yogurt
-1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
-2 teaspoons of raw honey (non-grainy)
it makes for a really smooth almost liquidy formula, leaves no stain

I'm a vegan . I will apply it sometimes because it goes away in 3 days. I guess I will just apply it on forehead as I have a lot of scars there
Aw, I hope you get the job! And yeah, be yourself, don't let acne screw you up
. I started applying for a CNA job which there are always job openings, so I should expect some interviews. I only have like 2-3 active pimples, 2 of them hurts (the ones I hate!) on cheek.. grr. I thought it was over 'cause my skin was looking great. I have new scars and some red marks. Oh well, I will try to ignore my skin , 'cause doing this works ;\ I just hope that my scars doesn't look like my Dad's scars. He has a lot of cheeks.
Even though I wouldn't want anyone to go through what we go through with acne, it's always nice to know there are other people who get it and completely understand.
Thanks Lily, I am still going out even though I don't feel very confident, I don't really go out and I feel I should! ha
Best of luck with the interview, let us know how it goes
Thank you both
Good luck with finding a job too Eddie and hope you did enjoy the night out Geeking
late response!
but it was an okay night out, at least I did something haha
PS
my chin hurts. hormonal acne kickin' in now.

I'm glad you went out. I really wanted to meet vegan people on meetup.com, but 'cause acne came back, I couldn't go. I only attended 2 which was great. There have been a lot of meetup, but couldn't attend any. Vegans don't have acne at all.. so don't want them to see me. Thank god that my skin is clearing up, I can't wait to join some meetup and meet vegan people
