Broken out. Just realised I've been using my current regimen for 3 months and that my breakoiuts have not lessened. When my skin is free of the four five pimples it looks great and i'm super happy....but its been rare. 3 months...my skin could have beeeen so much further along than it is now if i would have been on the dkr which is a fraction of the cost i'm paying now! The biggest bummer is that our friends we havent seen in 2 years are coming out in 11 days for our vacation and i look like a breakout queen. ALl this time hoping that by 33333333 friggin months that i would have significantly less breakouts. Now I'm debating starting the dkr now....or waiting. I don't know what to do. It almost seems like what would i have to lose i'm already broken out alreadty so what would it matter but i'm nervous. What would you guys do...wait or go for it? Remember i am seeing them and vacationing in 11 days............

hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I vote you start with the regimen. In my case, I noticed the next day that some of the raised spots on my face calmed down a bit, not completely flat but better than the day before. That gave me the a small boost to continue.

Be realistic though, what you want to hope for in the next few days is you don't get new ones and the ones you have will calm down. I'm crossing my fingers for you...

TRussell....how much purging did you get and when? Do you think i will purge now and be clearer then or that i will purge just in time for my vacation? Ugh..i'm soooooooo frusterated. :(

ckko25 - I didn't really purge, not due to the regimen.

What pimples I get after starting the regimen were mostly because I picked on my skin. That is the WORST thing you could do, DON'T. And some times when I put pressure on my skin, like when I rest my chin on my hand or sleep with one side of my face smooshed against a pillow. I never used to believe that pressure causes zits, but I do now.

Another cause for me was STRESS. Do not stress out too much about your meetup with your friends, try to focus and calm down. Think of it this way, you now have a plan of action to your problem. If you must worry, focus on the solution. And drink loads of green tea and water.

Please keep us posted...

Ridiculously huge zit on my neck has got bigger.

It's hotter than hell here right now (very rare for the north of England) so everyone is walking around in shorts and tshirts - whereas i'm walking around with a turtleneck sweater fastened chin-high to hide my spotty shame.

Slowly, i'm starting to become numb to all this. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

For the past month, I've had this one cyst on my jawline/chin. It embarrasses me. It's really painful and I loathe it. It makes me extremely self-conscious.

Im feeling okayish..... I mean I don't really have any new acne on my face but all the PIH left behind is almost as bad.... I've been trying to get it to fade (like using cocoa butter and stuff) and it has a little but it's still noticeable and it's annoying me.... And also I don't wear makeup so yeah... It's exposed to everyone...

worse and worse everyday.

I'm in my mid 20's and my acne is worse than ever. I just sent back Carly's Clear and Smooth for a refund b/c it only made matters worse. really disappointed b/c Carly's has one of the best reviews and 90% of ppl highly recommend it.

Getting worse for me. Debating on starting bactrim tomorrow or not, keep reading all these horror stories on the net where people had very bad side effects. I know that is with any antibiotic you take but this one seems a lil more serious..eek.

That's my next move if i can get my doc to prescribe it. I've done some research, it seems to be a drug commonly prescribed for children - so i'll take the risks on the side-effects.

I'm getting no respite at all at the moment. I'm just tired of it all.

Exhausted, infact.

SO PISSED OFF. I have some scars on my left cheek and it has been clear for a like a month and has been healing. Then it all the sudden breaks out on my last week of school. Before then, I was planning to ask out someone I liked. I'm sure i was liked back. now I lost all my confidence and don';t ask her out. fuck you acne shit

Well it's that time of the month which means fresh, new breakouts.

I was only slightly irritated when I went to put on my makeup and noticed the bumps. But now I'm over it and I instead concentrate on my hair and clothes haha.

2 weeks into my antiobiotics (twice a day clarithromycin) course and my usually half-decent left cheek has broken out like nothing before. so, i now have both cheeks vying for the title of most acne-ridden. :(

I've hadn't had a single new spot for over a week - and the existing ones were just about faded into obscurity,

"yay!".. right?.

Nope.

Woke up to discover a new zit just under my mouth that is so ridiculously large that even I, a 16 year veteran of acne, was taken aback by.

It looks like someone glued a clown's nose to my chin.

I currently have only one(!) active zit. This, for me, is incredible. I usually have a good 6 or 7 on the go at any one time.

However, the bad news is: the one active spot i have is the biggest i have ever had on my face. It looks like a crimson death star.

So instead of having a load of little spots, i now have one truly epic bastard. I don't know if i should laugh or cry. Perhaps i'll do both.

Further proof that my skin is indeed consciously screwing me over for its own amusement.

(see if you can find it): [Edited link out]

Dude I would be happy if I were you. Thats not that big of a deal. Thats the only one on your face? Lucky bastard! It looks like you might have bumped your chin into something or a cat scratched it. Be happy with it  . Your just overreacting

I'm resenting my acne today cause it doesn't like me eating any delicious food. Who's for a trip to Baskin Robbins? I would have the sugariest, milkiest thing I could get my hands on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man I miss dairy. :(
