Pros:

fancy package,

Cons:

Expensive. DOES NOT WORK, headache to return, deceptive customer service.

DO NOT ORDER MURAD OR TRY IT. The worst Aspects 1. The company is shady. i ordered one kit and they charged my credit card 3 times, then again for hte next month for another 3 kits, for a total of 6 kits. THe reason: the first time, the order didnt go through. So i decided okay, guess its my credit card, so i used a different one, failed again, then another different credit card, then the orders all magically went through. If you return it they only refund you 35, when you pay 45. so i lost 60 and wasted lots of time going to the post office. 1. it doesnt work, at least for me. im medium oil skin. my face got really red and i followed thier regimen religiously for 4 weeks. 2. its about the same as proactive. Pro active worked for me in college, but then i stopped cuz it got all better, and then came back. 3. The only thing good is the clay mask, that was nice and helped a little.

Pros:

My acne cleared up a little bit in the first few days.

The clay mask is easy to apply and the lotion is nice.

Cons:

-My acne came back and is still here after almost a month - I have never had this many white-heads in my LIFE!
-The second step's bottle is as hard as a rock (how do I get stuff out?
-IT BURNS!! OH GOD IT BURNS!! ICE, WATER, ANYTHING - MAKE IT STOP!!

Don't get it - you would be better off buying a bag of raw bacon and rubbing THAT on your face than getting this crap - at least bacon won't BURN. Seriously, you don't even know how much this stuff burns. Oh, it's not so bad for the first few days, but it builds, and builds, and BUILDS, until you're eyes are streaming with tears from the pain and you need to wash the stuff off again. I don't even CARE if this stuff works - nothing should hurt this much. Also, this stuff causes immortal white-heads. They would come onto my face for a visit, then invite friends, until a whole colony had made themselves a very painful home on my upper lip. I got sick of it, and tried to pop them - BIG MISTAKE. They GREW BACK the next day, bigger than ever, except now they were crusty. I haven't been able to shave for 2 weeks now, and I am afraid to talk to people face to face. I have used all of these ingredients before, and NEVER had this awful of a reaction.

Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

itchiness, redness, more breakouts than ever, big hard zits.

For the first two days, I thought "Wow, this is really going to work". My skin seemed to glow, and I seemed like it was clearing up. The next day I woke up with like huge, hard, big, red bumps on my cheeks. They are the worst they have ever been. I have little bumps all over my my forehead---when it was completely clear before. I went from having mild acne to severe acne in less than a week. I'm just going to stop using it before I get horrible scars because I scar so easily. They tell you your skin is going to "purge" just so they can get money from you, this product is just terrible. I wish I would have never used it.

Pros:

Not sure if there are any

Cons:

Causes cystic acne, irritation, redness, and makes you break out worse than before.

I'm in my late 20's and used this as I was starting to get acne on my cheeks for the first time. They were just small bumps, but annoying. After using Murad for 2 months, my acne became cystic for the first time in my life. It's been 4 months since I used this product and I'm just now starting to get back to normal. I wish I would have read these reviews before I tried this product.

Pros:

During the first week i noticed a lot of the redness went away.
Second week i noticed my skin starting to really clear up.
Third week my skin was almost clear, i seriously couldn't believe it then fourth week i had clear skin!

Cons:

Salicylic acid gel kinda smells bad and burns but is tolerable

This is a miracle product for me. I've tried everything and this was pretty much my last hope and it pulled through. I will continue to use Murad products for as long as i live!

Pros:

During the First 1-2 weeks my skin was clearing up amazingly and i was very hopeful for the end result, I like the mosturizer and the feel of refreshment on your skin.

Cons:

Im currently on week 3-4, Sunday will be the end of my 30 days. I have noticed an INCREASE of acne from when i started. I actually only had a few spots before and now my forehead is a mess!

I do NOT recommend this product to those with few pimple because it will start to clear up skin and the the acne will resurface and begin to multiple. Iv'e tried every medication out there and this was my last hope, and it made the acne worse than before. You figure they know how to treat this stuff nowadays. If the first weeks result kept the same i'd be more happy then with what my current results are. It seems to work great even after the first 4 days, but then just like every other medication it quickly begins to irratate skin and cause unexpected and terrible breakouts.

Pros:

I notices clearer skin within the first week, it didnt dry out my face and the face moisturizer feels very light. Acne spot treatment dries pimples out quick.

Cons:

Exfoliator does burn a bit but its killing the bacteria so i dont mind it! kill it!!!

I never really had a major break out until now and nothing seemed to help my face, tried all kinds of thinks like Acne free and some other home remedies, they all irritated my face and dried out my skin... even the prescription meds! I just started using this 2 weeks ago and it doesnt dry out my skin... i can see a difference and now. I say try the 30 day kit and see how your skin feels with it... not every product works the same on everyone!

Pros:

Feels fresh afterward

Cons:

New acne

I've been using the product for a month: Week 1: Wow! my skin is consistently clearing up! Week 2: Occasional unexplainable zits. Side effects perhaps? Week 3-4: Uncontrollable acne all over. I have been using the product twice a day. I love the feel of it - not drying, fresh, lotion is a must. I liked the combination of the spot treatment and the Salicylic Acid gel. However, after 2 weeks it's all back and more! I've heard of developing tolerance for any acne medication you use, but in 1 week?!! I am going to a dermatologist next. I don't recommend the product, because of lack of its consistence. Also, keep in mind that purchasing a 30 day kit, you will be charged full price every 30 days thereafter.
