Pros:

Dried pimple out VERY quickly (within two days)

Cons:

Burns skin
Increases chance hyperpigmentation (for sensitive skin)
MAJORLY Dries out skin

Bottom line: For those of you with fairly sensitive skin (like myself), STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT! Sure, it'll dry out your pimple, but it's left me with the most horrifying burn I've ever experienced from an acne product. I'm currently left with a hyperpigmented mark (the size of a quarter) that is not fading and isn't easily covered up (even with thick make-up). PLEASE use this product cautiously. I used it at night for two days and that's all it took to severely burn me.

Pros:

maybe helped clear acne?

Cons:

really dry skin
caused scarring

i was prescribed this, diane 35 and minocycline by my doctor almost six months ago, i stopped using this product because i realized it did more harm then good. from the first week i started using it, it made my skin extremely dry and flaky. i couldn't put on cover up because my skin would flake. after about four-five months of using it, my face cleared up. but i don't credit stieva for it. i am left with read spot scars all over my cheeks. i stopped using stieva for a few days and realized the scars were slowly fading. i blame stieva for the scars that i now have to live with.

Pros:

none

Cons:

Caused by face to break out worse then my acne ever has before, and has now left severe scars all over my forehead. I haven't been able to go outside in months because of the embarassment. This gel has ruined my life, never ever use it!

Stay far far away from this horrible product.

Pros:

None so far...

Cons:

dry, itchy skin
burning

I tried it for 2 weeks and it made my skin horrible.I had dry itchy spots on my face that would not way, no matter what I did...discontinued use of it until the spots went away and tried it again and it's doing the EXACT same thing. These spots are extremely itchy and painful and a few very large ones on my face aren't going away. I didn't have bad acne to start with, at all, but my doctor prescribed it because I started to have a few problems areas on my face. I really don't recommend it.This medication has literally burned my skin.

Pros:

NONE

Cons:

use a bit too much, and it WILL BURN UR SKIN AWAY. this thing is like BLEACH!
expensive

I have moderate acne, i followed the directions on the tube and it was fine, it burns a little, but it WASNT WORKING AT ALL, i kept getting acne breakouts. So 2 days before school started, i put a bit 1.5 times the amount i usually used, it felt like a 3rd degree burn and i took it off immediately. i woke up the next morning to sandpaper skin. i couldnt smile, because my skin would stretch and hurt. I loathed on bottles of moisturizer but it didnt help. You could see the uneven dryness on my skin. it WAS NASTY, i had my student ID pic taken in it and it still reminds me of how crap this product is. I understand it doesnt work for everyone, but if it doesnt work for you, LET IT GO, DO NOT PUT MORE ON. THIS THING RUINED MY FIRST MONTH OF SCHOOL.
