Alkaline ingredients
The egg white is alkaline, it can change the natural ph of the skin, which should not be a good thing and cause irritation, because It is important to maintain the natural ph of the skin for its proper functioning, right? I've used this mask a few times and almost had no effect on my skin, it just became more shiny after i removed the mask but later it seemed more irritated and I had some inflamed pimples.

not for me
It did get those pesky blackheads out of the creases of my nose. Its a cheap alternative to buying a mask cream. I wouldnt do it again because my red areas that had gone away with previous scrub treatments and washing my face with clinique 3 step. Now im red again. And i have a lil hickey mark on the top part of my nose.

Not for me
Didn't really notice a difference sadly... but worth a shot - only thing that scares me about this is the info about "animal protein" in eggs being bad to put on your face b/c bacteria = more breakouts and irritation etc... I'd stick to other natural remedies NOT from animals, except for natural plain greek or other-style yogurt which I love for face masks!

Ehh...

Pros:

Tightens skin
Cheap
Easy to apply

Cons:

Doesn't get rid of acne (or scars)

It makes your face really stiff. Its good if you want to tighten & soften your skin but as far as getting rid of acne... I wouldn't recommend it.

Pros:

-softens skin

Cons:

-caused a bad breakout
-eggs have bacteria
-NOT good to put that on acne lesions

I believe this softens the skin but it also made my breakout much worse. I never thought of it until afterwards but putting bacteria (naturally found in eggs) on acne lesions is a terrible idea. After a bit of research I read that if contamination of egg whites is a concern, use pasteurized egg whites instead. I'm glad others have had success with this mask but I won't be trying this again.

Pros:

-felt like it was sucking everything out of my pores

Cons:

-very messy
-very time consuming
-dident help the one time i used it :/

i cant say much but i only used it ounce and i dident do a thing. i know i should have continued to use it but it seems to me lke it has more cons than pros. i would probably say give it a try see how it works on your skin but for me its just not worth it.

Pros:

Makes my face slightly softer
Makes my skin paler, which is good for some.
Tightens pores

Cons:

Didn't work for my acne

I've tried using the egg whites mask for a nearly a week now and it has done nothing for my acne. What I do is, I clean my face then put the egg whites on and leave it overnight. In the morning, I wash off then use the egg yolk, which I leave on for 30 mins then I wash off. My pores are tightened, but my acne is just as red and just as bad as it was before. I was so disappointed as so many people said that it worked miracles for them. :(
