may work for some but not me

Pros:

soft skin
feels clean

Cons:

a little stinky
bad breakouts
expensive

First off I hear great things about this wash so that alone motivated me to spend 30 bucks on the kit. I tried it and my face broke out horrible! I'm used to maybe 5 pimples a month I was so sad because I really wanted this wash to work, it makes my skin feel soo soft afterwards and the smell fades after a few minute. so that was months ago and I just tried it again thinking maybe my skin just needs to get used to it.. nope horrible breakouts everywhere . this stuff just isn't for me.

tea tree made it worse

Pros:

removes oil

Cons:

doesn't keep the skin clear
leads to more breakouts
expensive

I've used this product for a year it worked at clearing the oil from my skin but has left my skin with more acne and dry skin that flakes off. Its a very expensive wash and I suspect the toner doesn't work :I also a few hours later my skin became oily in the t zone

Its nice, but not worth the price

Pros:

no animal testing!! :)
prevents future breakouts

Cons:

expensive

I use the foaming face wash with tea tree oil. It does not help with existing breakouts but it does prevent skin from getting any worse. However for the price it costs, i don't think that it is worth getting it :(

Pros:

Smells great compared to other tea tree products. Nice bottle. Used it in the shower and helped with only a little bit of my acne.

Cons:

Dried my skin out. Annoying brand pricing. Pricy for Tea tree products. Doesn't feel or look natural at all

I prefer the natural and pure variation in bar format than this stuff. This product just wasn't for me. Try it if you think It might work for you, but I'm staying away from this.

Pros:

-really cleared up my acne fairly quickly
-makes my skin feel really soft

Cons:

-does nothing for blackheads
-the smell, while not unpleasant, does take some getting used to (it can be quite strong)
-some drying in healing areas
-you actually have to make a trip to the mall as it isn't sold in the grocery store like most washes

I've had persistent acne for at least 10 years. My skin is often flaky and oily at the same time and has always been difficult to manage. I think I've tried nearly every trick in the book to no effect and I was just about at my wit's end when this was recommended to me by a friend. It's by far the most effective wash I've ever used (in combination with the toner and lotion that are meant to go with it). This is the clearest my face has been since I was 13! I use once in the morning and once at night and I could really start to see the difference by the end of the first week. The pros definitely outweigh the cons in my opinion!

Pros:

Helps skin stay clear
Clears acne
Cleanses face

Cons:

A little pricy for me

I love this stuff, once I ran out I started breaking out from something I replaced it with though. The closest mall that has the body shop is 45 mins away and can't afford a trip right now. But I will definitely buy it next time I go back. It's the only thing that keeps my face clear for the most part.

Cons:

Expensive
Made my face worse
Contains SLS

I began using this right after I developed a skin allergy due to SLS. I stopped using soaps and shampoos with it, but because I thought this was a natural product I still used it. My face broke out, and continued to break out. I had bumps under my skin. They weren't exactly pimples, red, or itchy. It was annoying and it never got better. The light bulb went off, and I checked the ingredients and sure enough, SLS was in it. I stopped using it, and after a few weeks, I looked semi-normal again. I had high hopes for this product, but no luck!

Pros:

-contains tea tree which has antiseptic properties and helps clear pimples
-don't test on animals

Cons:

-makes claims that this is a "natural alternative" to other acne washes, when in reality it is no better. Contains parabens, phthalates, and other nasty ingredients
-at first I though it was working because some of the big spots went away, but it actually made my acne worse, irritating and aggravating my skin. Just awful.

The workers at the body shop told me that this was a healthier, more natural alternative to BP washes and creams, and the body shop has some good things going for it such as using fair trade ingredients, being against animal testing, and hosting fundraisers for the Somaly Mam Foundation, so I decided to try it, with high hopes that this line could become my permanent routine. No way. I would not recommend this for anyone with highly acne-prone skin, I am sad to report that it made my skin SO MUCH WORSE. Perhaps if you have very light acne and your skin isn't too sensitive it might work, but otherwise I'd say stear clear.

Pros:

Reduce minor pimples
kit works great if you just have light acne/pimples
helps small pimple heal fast

Cons:

Dried skin
Has a bit of a sent
Doesn't clear black heads
Doesn't really fade scars

I just got the kit from body shop about 2 weeks ago for x-mas, I think this works great if you just have light Pimples, but I just started to get huge inflamed bumps and their healing ok I guess, Iam still breaking out from little pimples but it's healing quickly. I do the kit twice a day everyday, the oil smells kinda bad and burns! I'll see if it's still working in a few more weeks, but I feel like I'm getting big bumps on my cheek so it doesn't stop future pimples :/ If you have LIGHT ACNE or small pimples this will proably work great for you.

Pros:

Smells good
natural
makes skin soft
prevents acne

Cons:

sometimes takes a little long to work
not very cheap

When you think about it, the cons arent really that important. I have tried SO many products and this is the best so far. I live this product.
