  1. Hi there guys I was just wondering if someone could tell me what severity of acne I have. I have had acne since I was about 12-13 much worse than it is now. Currently I use epiduo every night with aveeno moisturiser afterwards and I use a black pore mask once a week. However despite this I continue to suffer with large red pimples under the skin that are painful and take a long time to go away. Does anyone have any tips to help get rid of these because they make me extremely unhappy and make me
  2. From the album: Before&After

These are the results after 4 months of a self made compound mask treatment and dietary regime. Feel free to ask me how
  3. Hello Everyone! I'm someone who's been struggling with acne for around 3 years now and I've finally decided to start accutane, after me and my dermatologist decided it was the best method to finally cure the acne. And I have a question. I'll be starting accutane in the next few days, do I do a charcoal mask before hand to help ease the initial breakout? I have no idea if this works, but to my knowledge charcoal detoxifies your skin, and I know accutane works to draw out all the gunk your ski
  4. So today I woke up and saw hell growing on my face, I've missed collage for a week already so i had to go collage today, guess what I did, I decided to wear a mask to school, cuz last my class mate saw me I broke out but not as hell much fucked up as now, so I'd rather they look @ me as a weirdoe wearing a mask than ewwwwww! What the hell is going in on your face shit question . when ever anyone looks @ me without that mask they give a strange stare , I think they are thanking God this didn't ha
  5. I have pretty severe acne and my face is usually always red around my mouth, cheek and parts of my forehead area. I'm a 20 year old male who has a family history of acne, mom mainly has it, sister has it, 2 of my 3 brothers has it. I've been breaking out lately only around my mouth and chin area. Some say that this is a cause of hormones while others say it is because of the food im eating(oils of food going on my lips onto my chin/mouth area). Not sure what is exactly the cause but
  6. SO, I've read MASSIVE rave reviews about Indian clay!!! praying I will love it! Has anyone else tried it??? It can be purchased at any health food stores, whole foods, or amazon. Anywhere from 6-12 dollars. Enough to last for 6 months or more. It's in a powder form that can be mixed with either water or apple cider vinegar. 100% Natural Calcium Bentonite Clay ( Green clay). I will post pictures below of the packaging. It does not need to be the same exact brand but as long as it has 100
  7. Hey guys! Okay, so here's the thing. I barely have any acne, just stupid closed comedones! They piss me off and really bother me. I heard clay masks were good for them. But which ones? Please only recommend one if you have tried it and it worked. Thank you!
  8. Happy New Year peeps! I hope this year will be best year yet for your skin, self esteem and confidence. Here's hoping! I just HAD to make a post about a wonderful treatment I've been applying to my skin since December 26th; it's none other than the aspirin honey mask that I'm sure a lot of you guys would have come across when google-ing for acne remedies like I'm sure almost all of us have done countless times. Basically it's aspirin pills (I use two pills of 300 mg dosage) dissolved in a so
  9. Okay! So far so good. Today's going to be interesting, though. It's only been two days, but I'm enjoying this. STILL waiting on Dan's products, but the BP's definitely working it's magic, despite my redness/flakes. I mentioned in my previous post that I accidentally popped a pimple...woops! BUT, I put some tomato juice on it, and today there was minimal redness and absolutely no swelling. Lovely! I was so excited about these results that I made a tomato juice/seed mask this morni
  10. This is my story I had moderate to severe acne vulgaris when I realized I needed to do something. I was smoking a pack a day, lots of weed and every drug you can think of I took on regular basis and drank a lot to and ate nothing but mcdonalds and other fast food any and all junk food was my diet with a few 52 ounce sodas every day and absolutely no water and very poor hygiene. One day I was with friends and the looked at me like I was a monster and started treating me differently which was a re
  11. I am scared to use this product because I have semi-sensitive skin. When I Breakout, I get cystic type pimples.
  12. Hello Everyone! (: A few days ago I was at my local drugstore looking at different facial masks and scrubs, and I came across this Freeman Charcoal and Black Sugar Scrub/Mask. It smelled wonderful, like sugary earl gray tea, so I decided to buy it. (It was only $4, so it wasn't a big money decision.) I did exactly what it said to on the package (leave on for 5-7 minutes then scrub off.) When I removed the mask, I was in for an astonishing surprise! My skin was pink and glowing an
  13. Now, I've been on the Acne.org Regimen for a solid three years and would consider myself an anecdotal professional. I currently am 99.9% clear and have been for about two and a half years (the regimen took about six months to fully kick in!) I could not be happier! ...Or so I lied. I love the regimen, but I'm the kinda guy that loves to try out new products even though the ones I may already use are absolutely fine and work perfectly. http://www.selsunblue.ca/natural-dandruff-shampoo.aspx
  14. I've read around and I know that I'm supposed to use raw honey for a face mask. So, I went out to the store and bought two different ones because I didn't know which one I am supposed to use... I'm not even sure if one of them is "raw" honey because it says "100% Pure Raw Natural...Honey" and apparently there is a difference between pure honey and raw honey. So, here's a picture of the two: http://s18.postimage...5_06_48_128.jpg Here's a picture of the RAW UNFILTERED HONEY: http://s18.p
  15. Can anyone recommend a decent weekly face mask? I've been using Body Shops Tea Tree face mask but haven't noticed any prominent results, any help would be appreciated.
  16. Hi! I have been on BP for about half a year now, and I've noticed big improvement in my moderate acne. I have only occasional pimples now (yay!) but im living in a cold and dry climate, so my skin is misbehaving these days... I am using only Jojoba oil for moisture, because no matter what regular moisturizer I use for my face it seems to get angry and flare up with acne. Right now I have clogged pores in my forehead, which i picked on... and now they are red wounds (woops... )... and so it's sa
  17. How would acne.org's benzoyl peroxide have an effect on my face if I used it as a mask? I'm thinking of applying it all over my face more than usual and let it sit in for 15 minutes or so, then wash it off completely. This would be once a week. I'm doing so because using it everyday makes my face depend on it, so I'd rather limit it to once a week. All comments appreciated
  18. Has anyone tried this? I'm going to use one to spot treat on closed comedones and hopefully dry them out so they will just flake off. Please let me know if any of you have tried this. Thanks! I will update tomorrow.
  19. I have discovered (for me) an overnight pimple zapper. It has not failed me yet. I don't get that much acne anymore, my problem is rosacea, but I still do get the occasional underground pimple or big red lump. What I have found to help is a combination of RAW honey and cinnamon powder: What I do is... -Put some honey between my pointer finger and thumb and mix it around. Make sure it is RAW, UNREFINED honey. You can use Manuka or unprocessed honey too. I got my RAW honey from a hea
  20. Hi, So yesterday I got a big spot on my cheekbone and in attempt to get rid of it, I spent the entire day attacking it with several products. It was going fine and it seemed to have shrunk from morning till evening. But then, i got impatient and I picked on it, even tho It looked like a blind spot (one that has no head and sits deeper under skin). Of course, it became all red and inflamed. So, i decided to put some asprin paste with few drops of tea tree oil on it. What happened next was very W
  21. I was told by a friend to try out a homemade scrub which consists of brown sugar and coconut oil. She says it works to remove the dryness of my face and leaves a smooth complexion. Has anyone ever tried this before? Or would you recommend I try this for the dryness?
  22. My boyfriend has rosacea and I have oily skin. I made an oatmeal mask with these ingredients oatmeal milk grean tea raw honey i put them in a blender and applied for 15 minutes. Do you think this is a good treatment and how often should we apply it? Thanks.
  23. Hey everyone! This is my first post and I wanted to see if anyone has experienced anything like this, I can’t seem to find any information online. So the day before yesterday I applied a DIY activated charcoal mask that was made of activated charcoal, jojoba oil, and water. I left it on my face for about 10 mins and as soon as I felt it dry I washed it off. After the I washed the mask off the skin around my nose, chin, and between my te Ross was red, burning, and inflamed. It looked like there w
  24. I haven't typed in my blog in a while and felt it deserved a wee update. I have stopped using Azelaic acid, I stopped it about a month ago now actually, to be totally honest Im not really sure what it did for me. It did decrease the redness of my acne a little bit and made some of my spots smaller. Now looking back on it though and looking at some pictures of my skin, I notice that the Azelaic Acid actually made me purge. It purged my skin out a hell of alot actually. Weirdly enough it doesn'
  25. Last night I tried a honey mask for the first time. A friend of mine has their own bee hives and harvested a large jar to give to us- You can't get more organic then that! So I decided to try just doing straight honey on my face. It was interesting- First off it felt like I was applying glue to my face. As I waited... and my skin began to warm the honey I felt it 'moving' - In other words, dripping downward. So I had to be watchful with it and my initial desire to leave it on for 30 minutes
