  1. Ive had mild to moderate acne since about 15-16, im now almost 19, always seems to be a new pimple everyday and its been very persistent for as long as i can remember. So about june last year i decided i was sick of it and wanted to get rid of it, i ended up seeing the doctor twice, he prescribed me some general antibiotics and epidou. However i didnt notice any change at all really. Okay to get to my question is ive finally decided accuate is what i need, ive got a referral however the wait
  2. Most recent pic (Feb 06, 2014): Still posting and updating at least once every week. I'd like to stay anon for the most part but I felt like I had to post some pictures to show my authenticity. However, if you do recognize me, please keep this private as that is my wish. Thank you! My log is a little late, but better late than never! On May 22, 2013, I began an ultra low dose Accutane experiment supervised by my derm. A bit about myself before I dive in. I am a 25 year old Korean
  3. I haven't started the regimen yet and have always defiantly wanted to start it. However, I've been reading and looking around a lot on the forums, and I've noticed people have had some issues. And honestly, it has sort of made me stumped and frustrated as to wether I should even do it. People are saying they get dermatitis after a few years, or they start breaking out even worse after a few years or there face goes different colours, causes them to have burnt face after months of use or other
  4. Hey everyone! First off I wanted to say how much I appreciate this space where people so honestly share their stories and support with one another. I am an almost 16 year old male (about 5'9 155 lbs) who just completed a 5 month course on the (very tumultuous) Accutane regimen! I started with 40 mg a day and progressed up to 80 mg by the end. I am close to being a week off of the medication and I have progressed away from the uber dry lips, joint pain, and possibly the depression I have fa
  5. Hi everyone, I have had this for a good 3 years now. It wouldn’t go away. It only occurs on the right side of my chin, but recently, I have it on my left chin as well (just a bump, hardly noticeable). The rest of my face is pretty much clear. I use 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant about every alternate day. My diet is average. I do not take much sugar. No sweets or sweetened drinks, unless I have no choice, that would perhaps be once a week or less. Just plain water / green tea most of the time. I t
  6. Hello! I just signed up in this forum after having written lots of threads about my problem in different hair loss forums. First of all, sorry for my english, it is not my mother tongue, so I will try to explain my problem the best I can. After I took Accutane years ago (I think I was 17 years old) I began to experience a very aggressive hair loss. Despite other male baldness patterns, mine was diffuse and I lost hair all over my scalp. I don't know if there is any way of knowing if my hair loss
  7. I know we are all keen to get clear skin but do other people set mental deadlines like me? I say to myself, hopefully my skin will be better by this date or this time and then being disappointed when it isn't. Deadlines don't help, they just end in negativity. While we wait for our treatments to work or our next GP or Dermatologist visit, we are expected to go out in the real world and try to live our lives as normal no matter how hard it might be. To a certain degree, even if we can eventually
