  1. So today I'm having a better day !! hallelujah! !! I decided that the differin -even though it's like ,% may be too strong for me.. I'm very fair skinned & burn easily as is so I decided to cut back on it to every second day I woke up with 4 spots today like the white head on the surface ones and they were small so who cares? ? I think I won't skip it again though .. I'm going to mi it with a moisturiser every second night I also went to clinique I was looking at the anti blemish rang
  2. I have suffered with acne for nearly 8 years, but have finally found something that works for me. I would love to share it with you and hear your response if anyone goes ahead and gives it a go. It is a combination of BP 10% at night, with a green tea bag as a topical during the day. Simple, but effective! The good part is that it doesn't end up bleaching your clothes during the day. Read more about my method at my blog: www.beatbacne.blogspot.co.uk Hope this helps, even if it's onl
  3. So I've been really lucky in that I've never had much acne, and whenever a zit does pop up it's hardly ever noticeable, but about 3 or 4 years after I started to get acne I've noticed that sometimes when I pop a zit a little yellowish green, hard, kernel-like...thing will squeeze it's way out of my zit. They're very tiny, about half a grain of rice, and don't seem to be filled with pus or anything like that. They mostly pop up on my chin, and every once in a while on my left cheek. I've looked a
  4. So many people have said that green tea is excellent for the skin. I have suffered from acne that can range from being mild, moderate and moderately severe. Currently my skin has completely cleared up and I'm doing my best to keep it this way. I have come across this pill called "Tegreen 97" by pharmanex. You may want to read this for how green tea impacts acne.. http://www.stopacne.com/herbal-remedies/green-tea-acne-treatment.htm And I am a believer of the statement that green tea defin
  5. Hi, I've decided to cut out my daily big cup of coffee because I think that the milk and high caffeine content could be triggering my very oily skin and hormonal acne. I'm drinking 1-2 cups of green tea a day now, strongly brewed. If this diet change is going to help my acne or oily skin AT ALL, when will I experience a change? Could it be as soon as a week if the green tea really is going to improve my ridiculous oil production? Or is it one of these things that will take about 3 months?
  6. Hello everyone! I have an interesting question that Google and other search engines can't seem to answer.. So I thought I would turn to you lovely people on Acne.org for a little insight on this... So I've been drinking Decaffeinated Green Tea for about 7 months now (to help control my acne) and last month I started to notice a lot of hair falling out from the top of my head. I didn't think anything of it, thought maybe it was stress but it has continued for weeks and is still pretty per
  7. Has anyone successfully incorporated drinking green tea into helping acne? If so how long did it take and how much did you drink a day? Does it work as a topical?
  8. I have tried drinking green tea in the past. I drank cans and cans of Arizona green tea thinking it was helping my skin, but it was absolutely doing the opposite. There is so much sugar in those things but I didn't even realize because I was young and didn't care to really look at the fine print. The sugar spiked my insulin levels which then stirred up inflammation in my skin and whammo-zammo I had pimples up the ying-yang. I tried real green tea in 2011 with little results. It tasted horrib
