  1. Hi all! I just started taking i3c (precursor to DIM) and Vitex as directed by my naturopath. It has been a week since I started taking them, but my skin is resembling the condition a week before my period (when progesterone is the highest). No cysts. Just some bumps on my forehead and a few white heads on my chin, and nose. Nothing on my cheeks and jawline (knock on wood). Has anyone experienced an initial breakout or purge period? How long does it take to get over it? I did a hormone test

    Estroblock?

I have severe acne on my chin. I was thinking about trying Estroblock, has anyone tried it/thinks it will work? Even if it doesnt, it would be okay but im terrified of it making my acne worse. I hate trying new things because if my acne spreads, i will feel even worse. Any suggestions? Should i just go for it?
  3. Hello everyone. I was wondering what was the difference between the effects of Spiro and Estroblock (and/or other similar "holistic" alternative, DHT Block etc.), and I decided to ask here since I couldn't find any answer to my question online. - Can something like Estroblock/DHT Block help with PCOS acne? - If Spiro works for someone (by decreasing androgens, and oily skin etc.), will Estroblock work the same way? I have been on Spiro for some time and while I *FINALLY* see results, I'm
  4. I've been taking DIM (Estroblock) for a couple months now. My acne is getting better though I still break out worst before my period and I'm certainly not clear. But I had really bad cystic acne and it is significantly better such that I can occasionally go without makeup and not feel too self conscious. My issue is that my periods have gone from clockwork to early or late and it's driving me crazy. I could always depend on it and mark the day of it's arrival but now it's just a guessing game. M

    My acne cure after pill

hey there I have literally never posted on an acne forum however I have trawled this forum and all over the internet for the past few years and can finally say my acne is under control (touch wood). I thought I would share on here what worked for me in the hope it might help others suffering! Basically, my story is the same as so many people - I came off the pill after around 10 years (dianne 35) and all of a sudden my face, and my back was a mess! I tried everything dietary first - I tried gi
  6. Hi everyone, So for the past six years I've tried diet, naturopathy, visualizing, and birth control to get rid of my cysts and whiteheads that appear mainly on my jawline. Birth control was the only thing that totally cleared it, but made me so depressed I couldn't enjoy it. So for the past two months I've been on Estroblock, which consists of DIM and Indole-3 carbinol. And WOW. I can't recommend this stuff enough. With birth control, I'd generally have to wait two to three months to se
  7. hello hello, I have been reading these forums for YEARS and have just recently felt confident enough to share my own success with certain products. when I was 23 my chin exploded in painful red cysts that refused to dissipate. it was shit. after lots of research and blood tests it turns out that I, like tons of women, am estrogen dominant. I started acupuncture and taking supplements for my imbalance. After three months, I do not have any more cysts. This is what I take: Margarite pills (plum
  8. My acne story : YEAH. this is long as everything, but please read it all. I have a complicated story, but I need someone's insight. Basically, I have had really mild acne since I hit puberty, which is pretty natural, and which I expected to get rid of when I became older. Well, as I have gotten older (I am a 19 year old white female, living in the US), my acne has only gotten worse. I started getting pimples around my hairline, sometimes on my cheeks and chin about a year ago when I
  9. Im gonna keep my back story short, been suffering acne since 13, im 22 now and its just getting worse. In almost 10 years there has not been a single day where I haven't had a spot on my face. The mental effects of this are really starting to effect my day to day and depression is getting worse. In the last year I have tried... Vitex - didnt improve after 4 months and gave me awful depression and panic attacks. L-lysine - didnt effect acne Burdock root - didnt effect acne Da
  10. I've been taking DIM (Estroblock) for two months. My skin is getting better although still breakout before my period. The annoying this is that my period used to be like clockwork. It was very dependable. Now it's early or late. Kinda making me crazy. Especially when it's late. My tubes are tied so I don't expect pregnancy but I think any woman wonders when she's late. Has anyone else had this side effect? I'm trying to figure out if it's the DIM or just something my body is going through. Thank

    Holistic/estroblock Approach

Continuing my first blog (My Severe Acne Journey)... I am currently 25 and about a month ago, I started to break out AGAIN on my chin, jawline and mouth area. What the heck?!?! I have been on ACCUTANE TWICE and am still suffering from acne??!!? What is this all about? I finally realized that it HAS to be something that is going on internally, so I FINALLY decided to take the holistic approach to curing my acne... and I am SO glad that I did! First off, I started eating WHOLE FOODS and

    What's Working For Me...

I think I finally found something to help my skin! My acne is hormonal, adult, mainly concentrated around the jawline, temples and sometimes cheeks. I would classify it as minor to moderate. My skin tends towards dry. I was on benzaclin for a few years which kept me clear, and then just stopped working. I was on hormonal birth control for many years starting as a teenager, which I think has been a contributor to my minor health issues with yeast, hormonal acne and melasma. I tried Retin
  14. I was thinking about trying Estroblock. Any opinions on it? Has anyone tried it? Is there a possibility of making my acne worse?

    My Acne Challenge

ABOUT ME I am a 20 year old female, and my skin has been bad since I was about 11 years old. During my school years I got the standard T zone acne, oily skin, whiteheads, the usual stuff that's associated with puberty and all that jazz. Well now I am 20....and my skin is still oily, and the acne is now on my cheeks and jawline mostly, and I am starting to get fed up, acne is meant to have gone now right?! During my teen years I went on antibiotics, topical solutions from the doctor and
  16. Hi All, Thanks for dropping by. Can some one tell me what it estrogen dominance and the theory behind it? I know that it's a condition where a woman has an imbalance in her estrogen to progesterone ratio, with estrogen being too high (or progesterone being too low), which contributes to acne and an array of PMS. HOWEVER the part I don't get is that, I thought high progesterone gives you more sebum thus more acne, not low. And I've read many scientific papers that high estrogen is good f
  17. Alright y'all.. I just needed to start a forum post and express how much I LOVE this all-natural supplement called ESTROBLOCK!!!! I am not even kidding, it has been an acne miracle!!!! I am someone who has suffered with severe acne for years. I have been on ACCUTANE TWICE and have major scarring from acne. If you go to my blog on here I go into my history with severe acne... If you google, "The Love Vitamin" she goes into detail about her experience with acne and what has CURED HER ACN
