Pros:

Since I started using witch hazel, my skin tone has really evened out. It's also gotten rid of previous breakouts, and seems to be keeping them at bay as well. Surprisingly enough, it's also been clearing up old acne scars.

Cons:

The smell isn't all that great, but after a few uses, you really don't notice it as much.

The bottom line is that witch hazel has been great for not only clearing up and preventing acne, but it's also done an amazing job at evening out my skin tone by calming down my usually red cheeks. Add all of that to the fact that my old acne scars are all but gone and it's inexpensive price, and this is definitely a product worth trying.

Pros:

Cheaaaap and easy to get. Also has other uses.

Cons:

smells strong, but not bad..just strong. you can always dilute.

I always have which hazel around. I don't actually use it on my face that much, but last night I had a few pimples that I really did not want to GROW overnight. I was going to consider that toothpaste method I always hear about, but I figured I'd just put some undiluted witch hazel on instead. Sure enough, they weren't any bigger in the morning--the pimples were actually smaller and dried out. It's not a miracle or anything(because nothing really is when it comes to stubborn acne), but I think it definitely keeps things at bay and who knows--maybe long term use works even better! I would only say to use a good moisturizer during the day if you plan to use this stuff regularly because it does contain alcohol which can dry you out a lot.

Pros:

It helps clear away pimples, and it moisturizes the skin.

Cons:

Once in a blue moon I'll get a cystic pimple, that I never got before. But, one is better than a multiple.

Is very cheap and good for the skin overall. I have tried Pro Activ and it is really expensive and did not get rid of my acne, and it did make my face dry out.

Pros:

I have only been using this for about a week and I rly do think I love it. its rly good if you have sensitive skin. I tried using ACV which turned me lobster red and smelled horrible. This I feel rly helps keep my skin clean and heals break out fast!

Cons:

a lot of people keep complaning about the smell but I dont think its that bad I actually sorta like the smell. Be careful since it has a little bit of alcohol init, it may dry your skin ONLY if your using a ton of other acne products or have dry skin

I havent used a toner in a while since Ive read its not necessary but I realy love this in combination w/ aloe vera gel after it dries. When Im done washing my face w/ my acne washes, I put this on w/ a cotton ball and it takes of spots that washes didnt, or the residue left from the products. I think you should try it because its really worth a shot to add in your routine. =)

Pros:

Clears up small breakouts fast, evens my complexion nicely.

Cons:

Smell is weird, also dries out my skin just a little, but that's probably in combination with the other washes I use.

A teacher actually suggested it to me, I'm an art student, and didn't have much problem with acne until I started using charcoal. The charcoal got in my skin, and wreaked havock. When I complained about my sudden breakouts, my teacher mentioned he used it before bed. I figured "What the hell, it's a few bucks" And I've used it ever since. It really helps clear everything off the face and clear up acne. my skin is super sensitive too, and I've never had a problem.

Pros:

Doesn't dry out skin; makes skin feel soft; disinfects without being as harsh as alcohol; removes some redness; reduces inflammation; helps heal acne wounds faster.

Cons:

i'm not sure how it would work on really severe cystic acne. I have had hormonal acne for years, and this has really helped calm my skin down. I use it in addition to an exfoliant, an acne wash, and sometimes cetaphil, so the whole process is long.

I'd give it a try for how cheap it is. It's worth it. My skin reacts badly to Sacyclic (spelling?) acid, so I can't use many acne toners. Witch hazel isn't too harsh and doesn't irritate my skin, but still helps tone and cleanse it. I also use it when I've been sweating to make sure it doesn't clog my pores. I'd really give it a shot.

Pros:

Didn't irritate my overly sensitive skin, Removed surface makeup/dirt, Instantly tightened pores, Felt nice on skin, Made you feel like you were freshening up your face

Cons:

Sometimes too drying, Didn't really clear up acne or redness (it just didn't irritate it), Weird smell,

I'm still looking for an amazing toner that will actually start helping me fade red spots and reduce acne, but this wasn't the one. It's great cause it's non-irritating and natural, but it really didn't show a drastic improvement in my skin health. I'll probably keep using it cause it helps me take off makeup and remove oil and dirt.

Pros:

Cleared up skin on face and chest and also made my combination skin less oily.

Cons:

Smells funny, but it's nor horrible.

My face cleared up considerably after trying almost everything for about four years. The acne on my chest also cleared up and my face is less oily.

Pros:

Cleared up my skin after no other drugstore acne stuff could.

Cons:

Smells a little funny.

Even with my horribly sensitive skin, witch hazel helped clear my skin up, and I haven't had a break out in months. I went through many, many other acne products and this stuff--which, luckily, is one of the cheapest out of all of them--worked the best.

Pros:

A great toner and natural.

Cons:

Honestly your face will smell like a portapotty for a few minutes until you moisturize.

The smell of T.N. Dickinsons is horrible, but you can deal with it to get good skin.
