Pros:

Shrinks pores, reduces oil production, clears and prevents exsisting pimples, easily available and cheap.

Cons:

None

My skin's intial reaction turned me off from this product. I even contiplated to stop. Use see my first couple of uses my skin was getting: extremely dry/flakey, post pigmentation marks seemed enhanced and red and small bumps along the chin and cheecks appeared. I decided to keep using this product so I could have a fair judgement. It only took about three days for my skin to adjust and boy it was for the better. Months into using I no longer require the use of 10% AHA or peroxide. Remarkeably all my routine consist of is: luke warm water w/ an oil-free gentle cleanser, cotton ball of WH and oil-free Purpose lotion. Viola!

Pros:

Started getting rid of the acne on my forehead.

Cons:

It has dried out my skin real bad and made it redder.

I think the side effects have to be temporary. And with moisturizer, the dry skin goes away. I like the smell; it's clean. I like it. My sister suggested using it as a toner after washing my face with an antibacterial face wash and warm water with epsom salt dissolved in it. I've only been using it for a short time, but it already works.

Pros:

Got rid of my acne and my skin felt smooth

Cons:

the smell

The only reason I purchased this was because it stated right on the bottle that it is used for facial cleansing. My intentions were to purchase alcohol (which doesn't work - but if alcohol can't clean the skin what can?) The very first time I used this my skin felt very smooth. I woke up the next morning and my acne started to disappear. I thought it just must be a coincidence, cause it couldn't possibly work that fast. I have been using it for 2 days and have noticed a HUGE difference in my skin. My pores are tighter, acne is starting to go away. Now just waiting to see if it helps to keep the returning acne from coming back. I thought it was just me over reacting about this product, until i read others comments about their pores being smaller also

Pros:

It has made pimples much smaller and skin a lot smoother.

Cons:

Smells a bit weird, but its bearable

I have tried a lot of different things, even tea tree oil but didn't work so well. On monday i went to sainsburys and saw witch hazel on the shelves, i had heard it worked before and as it was only 85p i just said 'what the heck' and went ahead. So far my skin feels and looks a lot better, the pimples have reduced a great deal in just around 72 hours. After i put on the Witch hazel i use a antiseptic cream and they work like magic.

Pros:

Erm, it works.

Cons:

None; I like the smell.

I have super sensitive skin, so I can't use many products, and definitely none that are supposed to fight acne (anything that contains Retinol, Benzoyl Peroxide, or Salicylic Acid, among other things breaks me out). I have used this product for a little over a year now, and throughout all my skin care routines, this has never turned on me. I use Dickinson's 14% Witch Hazel Extract toner. I recently switched to using this only once a day (in the morning). I now use lemon juice at night as a scar treatment. But when I was using it twice a day, it worked just as well. People complaining about the smell worried me, but it really doesn't smell unpleasant. It smells a bit outdoorsy, but it doesn't carry. No one else can smell it, and after 5 minutes, I can't either.

Pros:

removes all the dirt and oil from face, close pores tight, this works wonders

Cons:

smells quite different

this stuff really works, I even keep a bottle in bag when I'm at school, or in my purse, to remove the excess oil. THIS PRODUCT IS WORTH THE MONEY. I BOUGHT MINES AT FAMILY DOLLAR
