Pros:

Hydrates without causing breakouts. Smoothes the skin. Lessens appearance of scars.

Cons:

Can be greasy if overapplied.

I'm on Accutane so, my acne is pretty much gone now but my face is incredibly dry. I also have a lot of acne scarring leftover. I use Jamieson's ultra rish moisture cream with 30000 IU's of Vit. E. Because my face is so dry, even if I slather it on, it will dry up in ten minutes or so. I then find that I have a smooth, supple face for the rest of the day. One jar has lasted me three months so far.

Pros:

I think it works well. I use Nature's bounty vit. e oil. It's the one that is food grade, so it doesn't smell bad, actually like lemons.

Cons:

It is oil, so of course it's oily. That only makes sense

I read in Elle if you wash your face in the shower, then clean it with an astringent, then follow with a moisturizer and treatment, it will clear your skin. I've been following this routine, and it seems to work pretty well. I also use Lumene vitamin C drops in the morning as a treatment. Got everything from CVS( I work there).

Pros:

It works good as soon as it goes on

Cons:

can make your face feel very greasy

It works good, just dont use too much or you could increase your acne, and it also gets rid of any redness you have from previous or oncoming pimples

Pros:

It reduces scars, and if taken internally it reduces redness of whole face.

Cons:

messy, ruins bedcovers.

It doesn't help much with acne, even though it might at first, it only clears up acne u may have picked *ahem*, or marks left from fading acne. It's cheap? i guess, idk i don't pay for it. It's nice to wake up in the morning and see your face is better. This is not a cure for acne, but it helps A LOT with the fading, so try something else along with this.

Pros:

My skin has cleared up really good. I have a glow that no beaty product I have brought over the years has given me.

Cons:

It is a little thick when you apply it. But when you wake up in the morning you skin feels great.

I've dealt with acne and scaring all of my life. I'm a big pimple picker so I have a lot of scaring.I can for the first time in my life say I love my face I get so many compliments on my skin if people only knew.

I accidentally scratched off a layer of my skin on my cheek the other day, it got really red and eventually scabbed. I rubbed Vitamin E oil on it nonstop and within 3 days, my skin healed miraculously! I couldn't believe it. HOWEVER, I have this other really big acne scar on the same cheek and I want to kick myself for admitting that I got it from picking on the scab constantly. I got the pimple way back in November so the scar is about 2 months old. I've been applying Vitamin E oil on it every day for about two weeks now and although the skin has smoothed over time the scar is still noticeable even under foundation. Should I keep using Vitamin E oil?? I absolutely have to get rid of this scar b/c it's like right in the center of my face!!!! Any suggestions????

I took 400-800 IU of Vitamin E (d-alpha form) orally for 1 year consistently to help alleviate my moderate acne. I noticed no improvement in my acne nor any improvement in my scarring. Period.
