To all concerned, I have just purchased this product after reading many reviews and contemplating for months. I have had breakouts for about 4 years now since I was 16 (I'm now 20) and have tried most treatments out there. All type of creams (benzac, all danne products, proactiv related, etc etc etc). Most types of antibiotic (tetracycline, minomycine, Erythromycin, Doxycycline) After losing all hope I went to a last resort (so I call it) chinese doctor.. Natural herb's spent over $1200 and did absolutely nothing to me besides make me nearly chuck while tasting the rubbish. At this point I was extremely pissed off. Took suggestion from parents + friends went beauty therapist for 6 months did chemical peels, enzimes, etc. This cleared up my acne SOMEWHAT after 2 months of weekly peels. I have alot of redness on my face with scarring and I've never picked or squeezed. 4 months later my acne is all back im all out of hope and Vilantae (B5) is my very last resort. Wish

Pros:

-I would say it is clearing my skin up
-No hastle....takes less than a minute to take a pill
-reletivly cheap if you find it in a shop.

Cons:

-Taking longer than i expected
- Mega dosing ??????

i'm really enjoying using this product mainly because it is so easy to use and i am seeing a gradual difference in my skin. One thing i'm not to sure about though is the dosage. My B5 supplement is 500mg (per tab.) Now i;m constantly reading reviews that say to take up to 10g (20 tabs!!) per day. I mean i'm still only in my teens but i think i'm mature enough to know that 20 vitamins per day could be considered mega dosing. Personally i'm going to limit myself to 2g (4 tabs) per day, because i'm scared of any side affects. Preferably 2 tabs in the morning before school and 2 before i go to bed. Besides the dosage, its true, i think this supplement is working for me - slowly but surely. Although i dont see any difference to my blackheads on my nose which is a shame, but then again i have only been using these for about two weeks. Two weeks is also the time when people say that you should start seeing results which makes sense. In conclusion vitamin B5 seems to be a natural remedy for skin and acne and i would definatly reccomend it to anybody. But please bear in mind your dosage. Seriously 20 tablets per day...everyday?!?!?

Pros:

Maybe helped a littled.

Cons:

none

Tried it for a month + with a b complex but didn't see enough results to continue taking it.

Pros:

Didn't take long for me to see the results. Skin felt less oily, and great reduction in pimples.

Cons:

A little pricey, but still worth it to me!

Bottom line is I had tried other products, and I find that this works the best. I don't mind taking the pills everyday and have had no side effects for the medication at all. I feel more confident and will continue taking them. Just wondering how many pills I will end up taking (this is my third month, so I will have a little trial and error next month).

Pros:

Skin is I'd say about 75% clearer than it was when I started. It hasn't cleared me up completely but my skin is about 100% less oily and the whiteheads are maybe one or two daily. I'm going to try to take the maintenance dosage and use the regimen.

Cons:

None, really. I've noticed zero side effects.

I would reccomend this to anyone with oily skin as it did work very well on that area. Also I would say at least a 50% reduction in whiteheads. I think it would be best suited as a supplement to a regimen. I'm gonna try Dk's regimen with it.

Pros:

- Skin less oily
- Breakouts much less

Cons:

- Waiting 8 for my package to arrive. Package comes from Australia.

Overall very happy! After doing some reading on Vitamin B5 I decided to give SkinB5 a try. SkinB5 requires 3 dosages a day and within 3-4 weeks I started noticing good results. Well worth a try as I've tried every product out there and this has been the best so far.

Pros:

Acne is almost gone, less oily skin

Cons:

Drying out skin on other areas of the body

This really seems to be working. My skin is almost acne free. Even when I do get a pimple it is much smaller than usual. My only complaint is that I'm getting dry patches on other areas of my body. I've only been doing this for about 2-3 weeks now and my face is 100 times better than before.
