do your research!

Pros:

it can cure your acne and get rid of your oily skin

Cons:

telogen effluvium -- thinning and shedding of your hair

this may seem like a godsent, but make sure you do your research before blindly trying this out. sure, it can help with your acne and oily skin, even get rid of it all together -- but the price you might have to pay for it far exceeds acne. ever heard of telogen effluvium? google it up. megadosin on vitamin b5 for long, sometimes even only short periods will most likely reward you with this scalp disorder. make sure you're ok with the risks before trying this out.

Pros:

Easy to use

Cons:

takes time to get desired results

Clear Complexion B5 is really easy to use. It's great in the morning as you can take it with cereal and tastes like orange juice. You're urine might be noticeably brighter if you're body is unable to absorb all of the vitamins. You might want to try taking smaller sips in the morning and evening. If you are just starting, you simply drink two of the small bottles a day, one in the morning, and the other in the evening. After you achieve the results you want, you can simply drink half the bottle in the morning and the other half in the evening. I wasn't able to get the results I wanted in just a weeks time. If you are just starting out, it makes sense to buy 30 bottle package instead of the 14 package which only lasts a week. I would recommend the product to anyone who has acne and isn't getting their daily value of vitamins in their diet.

Pros:

Seems to work for others and isn't a pharmaceutical.

Cons:

Made me break out really badly to the point where I gave it up after three weeks. Also - thought it's not a pharmaceutical - it is a damn high dosage of a vitamin...so perhaps just as bad in a way.

OK I'd always noticed in the past that certain foods somehow made my skin better the next day. Once I'd finally realised that all these foods had lots of B5 in them, I did some research on the vitamin itself, thought "great, this is the answer" and started taking about a gram a day. This is perhaps where I went wrong - maybe if you take a low dosage like this, you're more likely to break out. But on the other hand, I don't know - maybe if I'd have taken really high amounts, I'd have broken out even worse. So I'm not sure. I think I had an unlucky reaction to B5 really. I broke out quite badly, especially in one area of my face (the side I sleep on). I knew this initial break out was a risk so carried on for a while, but after three weeks, and after reading that some people break out for months (or up to three months I read once) I thought sod it. Have been off it for a couple of weeks and seems to be healing up fine. So try it but be prepared. Kel x

Pros:

Cheap,
Works as long as you use it

Cons:

Terrible breakouts once you stop

It works when you completely stick to it. But once you stop using B5 you could end up having acne which would be worse then what you had before starting to take B5. I used it and regret my decision. It was a waste of time and money. So I would advice, why not go for a non brand B5 from some reputable company which you could also find online and more effective. I feel murad would be a better option for non branded vitamin B5.

Pros:

Noticed that pores were smaller, skin was less oily and less spots. Before B5 i would have five spots at a time and B5 reduced them to 1 at a time.

Cons:

Missed one day and had a break out which i have to say worries me. How long will i have to take it for?? Haven't really noticed many side effects apart from a few extra visits to the toilet.

I started off slowly with just 10g and day then after a week I started 20g a day. I started to see results after 2 weeks but after a month i missed a day and had an outbreak a week after. I'm very scared to stop taking B5 now. I think that you will be taking a risk with this but like with everything there will be one thing that works for you. Maybe this will be it!

Pros:

Really Does work, and it worked pretty fast for me too.

Cons:

Ive only been taking it for like 5 days and im sh*tting out water every day. Not to mention my stomach aches and feels like I have stomach flu or somethingn

A good alternative to topical prescriptions during the winter time. Or if you have really bad side effects to topical prescriptions.

Cons:

none that i have noticed yet

ive been taking the time release form for about 2 months now at 1 gram a day , 1 pill in the morning and 1 at night (i dont think it sounds healthy to take 20 pills a day) and it is slowly working. along with this i take a multi vitamin b tablet and eat 5 portions of fruit a day, as well as drinking lots of water fruit juice and milk.

Pros:

I didn't upset my stomach

Cons:

but...is it working?

I have very very mild acne but very persistent, I was basicaly just looking for something that wuold take care of the excess of oil of my skin. It's been 4 weeks so far...it hasen't change a thing!I'm gonna finish up this bottle and if it doesn't start working comment back. Beware of the comments left by the companies, it is a very common practise to use forum to advertise and pilot the possible buyers' mind

Pros:

It's fairly cheap, you can get 500 tablets for £20 from [website removed]

Cons:

Didn't help at all.
The tablets are large and awkward to swallow.
You have to take 10 tablets a day to reach the doses where it supposedly is effective.

An awkward and ineffective treatment for acne.
