Pros:

B5 actually works. My acne has completely cleared up. The odd time i get a break out i just increase the dosage (currently on maintenance phase) and the breakout clears up

Cons:

It took approximately 1 YEAR for b5 to completly clear my acne up...

Hang in there...don't expect immediate results or you may be disappointed. B5 will work...if you give it enough time. Most people give up after a couple of months...don't! I don't write reviews lightly and I understand the frustration of acne but B5 does actuall work. I tried every product under the sun including accutane but nothing gave me the results that B5 did

How Many Pills You Take.

Pros:

Reduces Oiliness
Clears acne

I stumbled on this product by fluke. I bought a multi-vitamin formulated for hair from Holland and Barrats (vitamin shop in UK). After a month or 2 of using this I noticed that my acne had reduced considerable. I then looked at the ingredients and the main vitamin was B5 (100mg 1667% of recommended daily allowance). I did not change anything else so can only contribute it to this. I know this may sound like a small amount to make a difference but it does reduce the oiliness and maybe because i am a petite female, this maybe all i need. My word of caution is that this product is known to make you scalp dry, so make sure you use good conditioner or oil on your scalp. Also it is known to reduce mucus production (throat, cervical) so this maybe an issue. I would not megadose and would advice people to start small and then work your way up after a couple of weeks. Please be patient

Pros:

Cleared Me.

Cons:

None, although shipping from Australia is a little expensive.

I've been using SkinB5 for 2 months and my skin has never been better, no zits for a month now. It's a powder that you mix with water 3x a day, so you don't have to take stupid amounts of tablets every day. Tastes good too. The only thing that has ever worked, i had tried Vilante in the past and that did nothing other than make me feel sick. Thanks SkinB5.

Pros:

Cured my acne

Cons:

expensive if you take a high numberof grams per day

I want to say that 1gram per day may not be enough, you have to increase the dose. I think that or body weight its related to the amount of grams needed to get better results

Pros:

Clear complexion is great because you dont need to put it on your face. I like this because its a time saver.

Cons:

The one thing I didn't like is the time it takes to start working.

This product works!!! Ive been getting outbreaks for the past year and using mostly just Mario Badescu facial cleanser. That was working alright to control my outbreaks but I wanted to find a way to stop outbreaks from occurring. I was first skeptical about Clear Complexion b5 but after a week i started to notice less breakouts! Ive been taking this a little over a month and only getting a zit here or there now.

Pros:

-Effectively gets rid of acne
-Skin feels calmer (skin would feel like it was pulsating while I had acne; that feeling is now gone)
-swollen lymph nodes in neck have calmed down

Cons:

-Requires discipline to take multiple times per day (but the effort is definitely worth it)

I'm 23 and have had moderate/occasionally severe acne since 18. I have had a very difficult time tracking down an effective acne treatment and prevention remedy for my sensitive caucasian skin. My skin's oil type is normal - a bit more oily in some places than others but neither too oily or too dry overall. I have been taking this product for the last month or so and I have seen some dramatic improvements. My skin is absolutely perfect (zit-free) when I take my 10 grams a day (2.5g taken every 3-4 hours). The only time I get pimples now is when I consume excessive alcohol on the weekends. Yet, these breakouts consist of only 3 or so small pimples and heal quickly. They are a far cry from the extremely painful, deep cystic zits I used to get before starting B5 supplementation. You need to continually take this product to maintain clear skin. Perhaps this is the biggest drawback, but I think this is definitely not a bad price to pay for acne-free skin.

Pros:

-Reduced redness/skin tone more even
-Reduced oiliness
-Less breakouts

Cons:

-Have to remember to take it 2-3x everyday
-Can cause upset stomach/diarrhea for some people(rare)

I've been using it less than a week, I will update again after further use, but I have noticed a reduction in breakouts, and my skin is seems softer and more even in tone. I like it because you're not scrubbing or drying out your skin witha harsh product. It's more natural.

Pros:

Worked quickly, affordable, effective on cystic acne, no side effects

Cons:

Lots of pills

Like most acne sufferers, I've tried just about everything. I heard about the effectiveness of b5 (panthothentic acid) against hormonal cystic acne so I decided to swing by GNC and give it a whirl. It's been a week, and I am surprised and thrilled with the results. My cysts (on forehead and chin) started to dissipate almost immediately. I've noticed a decrease in my skin's oiliness, and have had no new pimples in the last two days or so. I have noticed an increase in blackheads, (which I can definitely handle over cysts!) but I suspect this is still part of the initial breakout period. I am taking 10 (500mg) pills per day, in five doses of two pills each spread throughout the day. I am also taking a multi-vitamin, and have not had any negative side effects from the B5 at this time. I'm so pleased with the results so far!
