Pros:

Cheap. Faded acne scars on face in a week and is starting to fade old keloids from chest zits.

Cons:

Incredibly bad smell. Might not interact well with other products. Did I mention the stank?

This stuff is good, but the smell is almost unbearable. I mean I'm already self conscious about my skin and NOW I gotta deal with this funk as well! So I started to apply rosewater spray with a couple drops of tea tree oil added to it afterwards to counter the smell and inflammation. I use a 50/50 mix of ACV and water as an all over toner and use it straight up undiluted on my keloids. Definitely works on zits and red marks left from acne, but the jury is still out on my keloids. Faded em quite a bit after a week, but still too early to tell. I got the whole foods 365 brand organic and unpasteurized. I also drink 2 cap fulls twice daily.

Pros:

Reduces redness and the appearance of scars. Cheap !

Cons:

Kind of smells and stings at first.

I didn't believe it at first, but this stuff actually is beneficial, cheap, and you see results without having horrible consequences as dry skin, more breakouts or what not. Using it at night, wash your face with a mild cleanser to get rid of all the oil/dirt/makeup you were wearing throughout the day, then use either full strength or dilute the ACV 50/50 ( half warm water, half ACV ) if you think it stings too much. Apply it with a cotton ball or pad to your face, and let it dry. Lotion is unnecessary, the ACV leaves your skin to a nice balance between the natural oils of your face. By the next morning you should see improvements . Should probably only use it at nice since it kind of smells bad, use a daily cleanser/toner/lotion/sunscreen/etc during the day. Try it ! I'm very impressed by something so simple.

Pros:

Fades redmarks
Clears Up Active Acne
Softens Skin

Cons:

Stinky!

I've been using Apple Cider Vinegar multiple times a day for the past 4 days and it is truly amazing. To start, I am definetly noticing my skin CLEARING UP! And it has also drastically reduced my redmarks... just last week I had a whole bunch of nasty ones on my chin region and now you cant notice them. I am still shocked that my skin is healing. The left side of my face is almost perfect with the exception of a few little guys which don't bother me at all, I honestly have no desire to be completely "flawless". My face was a bit dry when I first started this but now it is perfect, I don't even have a need for moisturizer. I'm telling you, you gotta try this sh*t! I just dab it on with a cotton ball or cotton pad whenever I feel like it and it immediately starts working. I have also been dippin my face in hot water which also is great for me.

Has not work for me
ACV has not work me. I used as a toner since end of February 2016, yet no results. I am still breaking out. I used it twice a day. I started as 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water now I just used the vinegar alone. I mean it has not work. It not making it worst (that is the only good part). Maybe my acne is s severe. I been having acne since I was 13. I am now 28 and I just so over it. I tried everything.

Stop using face cleanser. Instead wash your face at night with coconut oil and warm cloth. In the morning just wash your face with warm cloth and apply acv toner. You HAVE to dilute the vinegar with water. Try this and maybe your acne problem finally will go away. Throw the face cleanser away.

Using coconut oil (or any oil) is not for everyone and could make you break out even more. Are you only using AVC? Maybe you need a good spot treatment as well. I personally have noticed that changing my diet has helped my acne tremendously. I am dairy free, I drink mostly water, no sugary drinks, and I try to reduce my oil intake. I would also suggest meeting with someone who knows skin. I have gotten acne facials that have also significantly reduced my acne! It can be pricy (which is why Im using acne.org otherwise I would still be going to my facialist.) but worth it! Hope this helps!

Pros:

cheap

Cons:

stank

I combine acv with witch hazel and water; it does great things for my skin, and I use it twice a day. Though it can sting on open skin, it's nothing awful and it's not too drying. Also makes an awesome hair rinse.

Pros:

Cheap
Easy
Does not dry skin
Natural

Cons:

Smells, but not a big deal

I've been using the apple cider vinegar as a topical every night for the last couple of weeks and I have seen dramatic improvement in my skin. I use it straight out of the bottle on a cotton ball every night after washing my face and leave it on overnight. I have oily skin, so this does not dry out my skin too much or cause redness like others have posted. The results were also not immediate like others have posted, but over a couple of weeks of using consistently, my skin is clearer, smoother, and less oily. I have also been mixing a few teaspoons with juice in the morning, but less consistently so not sure if this helps as well. It's not the best taste but you get used to it, and I find I actually enjoy it a little. I drink it through a straw, as I have read on other posts that it can damage the enamel on teeth. This is worth a try for anyone struggling with acne. I am so excited to find something natural that works!!!

Pros:

Shrinks Pores
Clears Cystic acne
Fades Acne Scars

Cons:

the smell bothers some people

I can't believe how much this has helped my acne. I used to get horrible cystic acne and wouldnt even want to walk out of my house. I noticed a difference right away. It removes dead skin cells leaving my skin nice and smooth. The cystic acne cleared up right away and every once in awhile I'll get tiny zits. I use this in the morning after washing my face and at night I steam my face with IMAGE clear cell cleanser and use the ACV as a toner. I am so happy I found this! Hopefully it works this well for others.
