Pros:

Begins working the first time you use it; actually works!!

Cons:

Cannot stop using it or you will break out again. I have read that it causes sensitive skin to break out in a rash, however this has never happened to me.

I used this product all through high school and had wonderfully clear skin. When I stopped using it my senior year because I never broke out and believed I was done with acne, I broke out terribly and had to be put on Accutane. A couple months ago, the effects of Accutane began wearing off and I tried everything, including prescribed topical Retinoid creams from my dermatologist, with no results. After making an appointment with my derm to go back on Accutane, I tried this again and a week later my skin looks and feels amazing! No more Accutane!

Pros:

-Reduced large whitehead size
-You really do see a difference quickly (maybe not 4 hours, but pretty fast)

Cons:

-Did nothing for redness
-Didn't get RID of zit
-Irritates skin (I have sensitive skin)
-Expensive

I'd use this if you want a one-time quick fix. But this cream doesn't really help you in the long run. For me, it helped get my zits out of that gross whitehead phase, however, the zit would only change, not disappear. It would become un-pop-able and hard to deal with. I think it caused worse scarring. DO NOT USE THIS CREAM ALL OVER YOUR FACE. It is only a spot treatment. I used it all over my face yesterday and today my skin is so painful! (Not damaged, but extremely uncomfortable) Also-if you do buy it and really want to get rid of a zit fast, don't follow the directions and put on a "thin coating"- GOP THAT BABY ON! It's the only way it works.

Pros:

None

Cons:

-Dries up skin horribly, leaves dry patches all over
-Inflames zits
-Creates more pimples
-It just doesn't work

The first day (or night, I should say) that I used this, I didn't see any difference in pimple size. Eventually after using it for about another week on my acne, it just got made my face dry, my zits inflamed and red, and there were patches of flaking skin. I gave up on it right away and will never go back. I suggest not buying it, it was a major let down and waste of money.

Pros:

The one I used was tinted. Yay?

Cons:

When I squeezed it out of the bottle, it was so liquidy like lotion. I dabbed it onto my zits, and all it did was create more zits around it. It doesn't work in 4 hours- let alone 4 weeks. Don't use it. Waste of money.

Don't buy it. It doesn't work. It's true. The texture is gross, too.

Pros:

gets rid of acne and prevents it with regular use.

Cons:

extremely irritating. made my skin embarrassing red, dry, swollen and super itchy. my skin was so dry around my jaw it would hurt when i'd open my mouth, laugh, or eat.

don't use this product all over your face. just use it as a spot treatment.

Pros:

Removes redness

Cons:

Doesn't shrink pimple size

Works great it wear under a light cover up, you won't need to pack on the foundation because the redness is gone, but the but is still there. It turned one of my pimples from a red bump to a white head, so I was able to pop it, shrinking the size. It's great for the last minute break out but otherwise it's a waste of money.

Pros:

Works good for all zit types (small whiteheads to nasty cysts). It took 2 nights of putting a big blob on each zit (6 zits, 1 large cyst, 2 normal-sized and the rest were small). I woke up the 2nd morning, and the 2 bigger ones had a head on them including the ugly cyst and the other zits dried up. Good stuff in my book!

Cons:

Burns for about 5ish minutes, until it absorbs and dries a bit...no pain, no gain! Because I use such a large blob, it takes a little elbow grease to carefully clean it off w/out torturing your zits!

I typically use meds from the derm...and I have used EVERYTHING OTC and from the derm. I haven't used OTC meds for years and my sister told me to try it, otherwise I wouldn't have. She read the statement on the box that said "works in 4 hours", so I went running to the store :) it's very effective for my stubborn inflammatory acne! I only gave it 4 stars, because I have a couple old zits (1 of them is an old cyst) that you can't see, but can feel....it hasn't done anything for those! But, then again...nothing will help them!

Pros:

can put make up on over it when dry, and doesnt make the make up go all horrid.

Cons:

only works if you have like 2 spots, not if you have full blown acne, so didnt work at all for me.

you practically have to have near enough perfect skin for this to work.

Pros:

Works pretty well, cleared up most of acne in 3 days.

Cons:

Burns a little.

Good overall, apart from the burning (it was not that bad, though). Good for clearing up acne! Buy at a discount store, as can be expensive!
