Pros:

Lightweight/ doesn't feel too heavy on skin.
Started working from the first day of use.
Great price (much lower than store bought products, even with shipping cost considered).

Cons:

Has to be ordered.
Shipping cost (although appropriately priced for weight of product).
I can definitely live with the cons, as they are so minor!

Dan's regimen & products are AMAZING! I am 35, & have struggled with acne since my teens. NOTHING has worked for me. I eat healthy, exercise, & drink 12-16 8-oz. glasses of water/ day. I NEVER drink soda, & rarely (maybe 3-4 times/ year) have caffeine. When I was 19 & 20, my skin did clear up. However, during my 1st pregnancy, I began breaking out again. For the past 15 yrs, I have struggled with acne, & have tried EVERYTHING; from expensive to inexpensive, antibiotics (not Accutane) to holistic approaches. Each time I would go to my primary Dr. for illness, etc., she would mention my acne. That is WITH my makeup on. Believe me, I learned a great deal about makeup & concealing (as I was having to live with the acne). This is the 1st time that my acne has cleared in, again, 15 yrs. I currently do not take anything other than vitamins (Zinc-40mg 2x/day, Niacin-750 mg 2x/ day, Folate-350 mcg 2x/day, Copper-2 mg 2x/day, & Omega-3 fish oil 1x/ day. I highly recommend Dan's products!

Pros:

Large size is convenient and cost effective, gel goes on easily and dries quickly with no fragrance.

Cons:

Slight irritation like all BP products.

I think Dan has the best deal on the market for BP products, though I'd be interested in a 1.5% option for adults with less acne. I really like the very open and honest way he does business with full disclosures about everything.

Pros:

Within days of use my skin was totally clear! Also stops zits from comming to the surface.

Cons:

Dry and flakey skin. Also, becareful that it doesn't bleach your pillowcase! I sleep on my side at nite and even though the BP was dry, it ruined it :(

I am so glad I tried this! I have had moderate acne for years and tried retin-a, proactiv, minocycline, orthotricyclen, and EVERYTHING from the drugstore! This is the first thing that ever worked for me! I am so happy and I have only been on the BP for 3 weeks! This is a miracle and I will never give this stuff up! No more wearing tons of makeup yayyyyyy!

Pros:

It got rid of my pre-existing acne in a few days and since I started using it, no new acne has formed!!!!! Sooo pleased with the results so far! I'm 2 weeks into the regimen and my skin is *clear*!

Cons:

My skin was dry, flaking, red and itching in the first few days but I persevered due to the great results. It's extremeley affordable but having to order it online is a con I guess although one I'd definitely live with!!!!

Try this!! I can't speak for everyone but for me this has simply worked wonders! My acne has never been that bad but it has been really persistent i.e. I've always have a few spots on my face with only a few days of clear skin per month... But now I have near perfect skin thanks to Acne.org treatment!!! I don't even use the full amount. Probably use only a pea-sized amount twice a day. In the past few years I've spent/wasted so much money on both high and low end products most of which did absolutely nothing. I wish I'd found out about the regimen earlier so I could have clear skin plus have saved sooo much money!! Seriously give it a chance, they even do a travel size so if it doesn't work it's only 4 dollars wasted! I can't thank Dan enough for coming up with the regimen and these amazing products!

Pros:

It works...that's all that matters

Cons:

Does leave my skin dry and flaky (but can be helped with Moisturizer and Jojoba Oil morning and night)

Even after a couple days of use, my skin was clearing up considerably. So far, I'm 100% confident that it's working as intended.

Pros:

Alot of product for the money. Also reduced some of the oiliness and eliminated facial redness.

Cons:

Not sold in stores. Can't skip a day or I'll breakout again in a few days.

I use Dan's benzoyl peroxide only once per day. I wash my face with my hands with Serious Skin Care's Daily Ritual Cleanser (which has both salicylic acid AND glycolic acid) both a.m. and p.m. and rinse gently with tepid water and a washcloth. In the p.m. ONLY I follow with one pump of Dan's benzoyl peroxide. I also keep Serious Skin Care's Super Hydrate on hand if I experience too much dryness which doesn't happen too often for me because I have very oily skin. I have finally after many years and many different product lines found the solution to my acne problems. Not only is my skin clear, but it also helped reduce the oilness and my skin is no longer red any more! Thank you Dan for making this benzoyl peroxide, it really is the best I have ever tried.

Pros:

Dest product I have used for acne!! Definitely does the job. Pimples started clearing up the very next day

Cons:

can dry you out a little
shipping bites - but it's worth it!!!!!

I wish I came across this website years ago!! I dont even know how I have bipassed it. I have tried so many products and have wasted so much money to have nice skin (last was Murad system-broke out w/pimples everyday!) Who would have thought going back to BP would have been the trick, but IT IS!!! Right now I use Purpose Cleanser, Dan's BP, and Oil of Olay Sensitive. Thanks to this site, I now have a great complexion.

Pros:

It is the only thing I have found that works for me. I was on Accutane twice and, while it cleared me up for awhile, it eventually failed too. I am never without this product.

Cons:

You have to be careful around your clothes and pillowcases but that's the same with any acne medicine.

It's the best value for your money and the results are wonderful. I have used it for years now and won't use anything else.

Pros:

water based gel, absorbs quickly, cheap, convenient and results in smooth acne-free skin

Cons:

Seriously.....I had none.

I still thank God for the day I came across this BP gel.I've been using it for a year now and my skin is 100% clear of the acne I had. The trick is to come up with the right amount and frequency to apply and keeping your skin moisturized so that it won't peel-off and become red or itchy. Infact, these days I don't even use it consistently and apply it whenever I think my skin needs it. But to clear my skin, I religiously followed the acne regimen and I guess its really worth all the effort if you want clear skin. be patient and you will be rewarded. BTW, my skin started to clear up within 3 weeks of using the product. Good luck.
