Works until it doesn't work
This is great in the beginning but not an optimal solution for acne :(

Worked for a couple of months
The whole regimen worked wonders for me for about 5 months. Out of nowhere I started to react terribly to the benzoyl peroxide and get bright red at even the smallest amount. Idk what happened but I WAS DEVASTATED. I'm now resorting to accutane which was really my last resort but nothing.. and I mean nothing has helped me since.

Skin Much Worse Now but Reading Other Comments Should I NOT Stop Using It?
I come on here because I'm having a bad reaction on the third day using this product so I wanted to write a review on here. I share the same experience as other negative reviews said, skin has severe breakouts like rash, skin redness, peel, burns, itch and visibly swollen. I used pea size per the instruction and the breakout happened on the third day in the morning after I woke up. Some of the comments say they are the symptoms before your skin actually get a lot better later. I have already stopped using it. Can someone please tell me if this process is normal and the most scary part is if continuous application will worsen the current symptoms? I let my skin naturally heal for now. Thank you very much for anyone's response in advance!

My skin got itchy and peeled as well in the beginning but I don't have that reaction any more. I think your skin just needs to get used to it. Maybe try using it every other day once your skin calmed down a little?

Help!
I have been using benzoyl peroxide for about 5 days. Even though my skin does appear a little dryer it's not as dry as other people's and my skin isn't peeling. Is this normal? Am I using it wrong?

I love this stuff!
I only apply it at night and it has improved my skin so much. I have not had any negative reaction from it whatsoever. Would highly recommend!

Awful product! I do NOT recommend to buy it.
This is one of the worst acne products I've ever purchased. My skin had an awful reaction to it. It doesn't help. It makes the skin even worse. Stay away from this product.

I like it, I only use it at night and have not reacted to it. How were you using it?

LIFE-CHANGING, miraculous product :')
This product has changed my life. I've had problems with acne for the past 10 years. I suffered from occasional cystic acne and regular blackheads/clogged pores, but my biggest issue was closed comedones under the skin on my cheeks and around my jaw and chin. They would just sit there under my skin until the slightest irritation caused them to become inflamed. I constantly had about 15 bumps on my face. I'd been prescribed BP gels by my dermatologist but i was not using them correctly (basically I would spot treat with them) so I always wound up abandoning them. The Regimen showed me that I need to use BP liberally every single day to prevent the bumps from forming. I don't really follow the whole regimen but knowing about it has helped me understand how to heal my skin. Do less! The hardest but most important lesson is not squeezing/picking your face. At night I use Cerave's hydrating cleanser with my Clarisonic. I usually tone with rose water. Then I apply the BP liberally to my cheeks and jaw. I let it absorb for about 10 minutes then moisturize. In the morning I splash my face with water and I also sometimes apply a little bit of BP under my daytime moisturizer. I have no problems wearing it under makeup. Since I have never had acne issues on my forehead and only some small blackheads on my nose I don't apply it there. It can be drying. I've tried every acne product under the sun and this is all I ever needed. (Other products make my acne worse because they irritate my skin.) I LOVE that this product is clear. It has a tiny bit of grittiness but it goes away once the product absorbs. This is definitely the best BP product you can find. I was shocked at the size. It's SO fairly priced. You need a big supply of it so that you don't skimp when applying it and doesn't run out too fast. Thank you acne.org!

Skin Rash
I'm going into my second week of treatment and was wondering if anyone experienced a prickly looking rash.My skin is very tight, itchy and slightly red.Any insight would greatly be appreciated thanks!

honestly thats exactly what happened to mine. Then i started to assume it was too much for my skin. So i started to use less but rubbed it in really well and use a good moisturizer (i use raw shea butter) and it made a huge difference.

Just when I thought it was working....
I'm new to the Acne.org regimen - it's been about ten days for me. Initially I had slight itchiness when I started using the BP but it was really minimal and not really bothersome. I was concerned because I tried Proactiv a few years ago and woke up the next day after the very first application and my was face was very swollen, patchy, itchy, and burned like crazy. It was unbearable! I consider myself to have sensitive skin and am mindful of that when I try new products. I'll also say that I have mild to moderate acne. I can usually manage with a spot treatment but my main issue is hyper-pigmentation. I have a medium brown complexion and when I say my skin (all over my body) scars/bruises easily I mean it. It's super annoying. That said, I wanted to try acne.org because I heard about the amazing results people had been getting. Like I said my response to the BP was fine. I followed the regimen as instructed...until today. Friday marked a week of usage for me. I was fine with the one application of BP a day. When I upped it to twice a day Saturday I almost instantly notice by skin was super dry, tight, and chapped looking. I was, and still am, disappointed and frustrated. I realize that maybe I responded that way for a few reasons: (1) the acne.org regimen calls for A LOT of BP, it seems like too much , (2) Also, perhaps because my acne is on the mild side, it was too much with the twice a day application of the BP, (3) It's likely that in addition to the increase in frequency of the application I applied too much of the BP. I won't write the BT off completely because it did clear up a few pimples I had on my face. However, I have decided to stop the regimen until I can better manage the moisture in my skin. I just cannot deal with the dryness. I'm hoping with discontinuation of the products and applying a liberal amount of a good moisturizer a few times a day my skin will regulate. Once that's done I will begin the acne.org regimen again but with only one BP application a day and a very small (pea sized) amount of it. I will slowly increase the dosage but with a much more watchful eye. I want to give it a try so I can work my way up to be able to use the glycolic acid since I mainly want to address my hyper-pigmentation. Any tips of restore the moisture in my skin? Did anyone else experience this and how did you manage? How did your skin react when you introduced the AHA? Thanks in advance!

Hello ChicCockatoo, I finished an entire bottle of the 24 oz treatment. I wanted to try the treatment by itself and see what it would do just by changing one variable. I also have sensitive skin and hyper pigmentation, as well as moderate acne. I have slightly oily skin but these are the things I noticed about the treatment: When I did it once a day it didn't really make a difference, at first, but then I noticed a slow change. I started doing it twice a day and it made my face feel chapped and dry as well, but I added a drop of the jojoba oil in my treatment and it was extremely helpful. Currently, I use cetaphil cleanser, not the sensitive skin one, even though I have sensitive skin because I personally notice there is a difference on my skin. This seems to be my winning combination.
