Pros:

Cheap and effective. Enough said.

I'm a teenager and although my skin only suffered from mild acne, it was frustrating to flip through magazines to see all these pretty girls your age with perfect skin; I was determined to achieve that, too. As expected, the first time I used this, my skin went crazy for about a week. But of course, I never gave up, and let me tell you, there's never been anything that's worked on my skin up until this point (yes, I've tried ProActiv). I used this creme preceding St.Ives Apricot Scrub, and that was the ultimate combination for me. Two years later, I now only use the creme right before bed and it still works just as fine (and a plus- one tube lasts at least 4mths for me!) I've never had to use moisturizer either, so it varies from person to person. Although my skin is perfectly clear now, ceasing this routine will trigger my acne again, so I'm stuck with this for life, but I don't mind at all! Greatest investment, indeed! I juse ordered his cleanser, and I know it's just as great!

Pros:

Amazing product..it really works. At first, it made my skin red, irritated and dry. I started putting moisturuzer every morning and now my skin is getting clearer. I only put moisturizer every morning and just Dan Kern's BP every evening. Thanks Dan!

Cons:

Not sold in stores

It's all worth it!

Pros:

Works! Helps to keep an acne diary as you go along (write down your food intake, makeup/product usage, and face washing frequency in it to identify any other sources of acne besides just skin tendency to breakout). CHEAP! Thank you, Dan!

Cons:

Can be difficult to identify other potential acne triggers -- food allergens, dirty pillowcases, makeup, etc. so just be sure to give the regimen a full try with the awareness that other things can cause acne, too.

I have been on the regimen since September 2006 and can say it DOES WORK. In my case I had to do a lot of work to filter out OTHER acne triggers that had nothing to do with keeping my face clean or topical products. So, the major thing for me was getting soy milk out of my diet. Apparently soy has a chemical that mimics estrogen, which for me, triggers hormonal acne (meaning it's unrespondent to topical products). Since eliminating soy milk and a few other things to which I have mild food allergies, I have had literally NO new active blemishes erupt on my face. So, I'm VERY HAPPY with the regimen at this point. The BP is much less drying than the 10% BP I used for years (I was not drinking soy milk at this point, I just had regular old acne and needed BP for it). Applying the product according to Dan's instructions is exactly what you should do, and you MUST moisturize. Be very liberal and take care with all applications.

Pros:

Wonderful. FAR better product than crusty/white "On The Spot." Love that it's clear & absorbs in 15 min. Was using Differin with no ins. coverage paying over $100 a tube. Dan's BP had it's way with my nasal blackheads that the Diff . couldn't touch.

Cons:

Bleachs some fabrics. Lost 1 shirt in a months time. I rubbed my face pretty hard with the shirt mid-day to remove some dry skin. I just use some of my Diff. money to go buy Polo shirts now! No worries, acne's expensive to deal with. Get used to it!

Dan's got this figured out. I bought 4 tubes of his BP on the first order after reading his "treatment past." My story's very similar. He's been through it all. You can't make that all up. The cleanser is somewhat like Cetaphil...but has some differences. Personally, I'll continue to buy it because it works as well if not better than anything else AND to support Dan's further research on acne. Anyone who hasn't been through it can't help as much. I hope he's a millionaire from this someday.

Pros:

Great value. Consistency makes it easier to smooth on than On The Spot. It works!

Cons:

I've tried hard but I can't think of any.

This works! At least it has for me. In thirty years struggling with mild adult acne, my skin has never looked this good. As someone commented earlier, I just hope Dan keeps on making and selling this gel. I did try the Neutrogena On the Spot cream, and it does work, just as Dan said it would, but it was too thick and dried out too quickly, so I couldn't get a thin smooth layer all over. Dan's gel is far superior.

Pros:

It does what it says it does. Clears and prevents acne, and thats exactly what it did for me! Then I ordered a bunch more for my brother and friends. It really doesn't irritate the skin as much as other BP's, and it works perfectly under moisturizer

Cons:

Can't think of any.

I just hope Dan inc. keeps producing this product... Try it yourself and follow the regimen CAREFULLY, my first attempt I failed miserably because I used too much BP in the beginning, which caused me to avoid BP for a couple years. If you actually follow the regimen, theres a high chance that this will work for you!

Pros:

No icky residue, clear, absorbs perfectly, doen't feel like you have anything on your skin. WORKS!

Cons:

NONE

I have used this gel for over two years now. I have stopped twice to see if I had outgrown the acne, and to see if other products work. They do not, this is the ONLY thing that keeps me clear, and happy. I highly recommend this. BTW, I am a 29 y.o. female.

Pros:

Feels good on the skin, non-irritating, effective, lasts long, CHEAP!

Cons:

I still get a pimple here and there.

I followed Dan Kern's regimen using Cetaphil cleanser I already had, this gel, and Cetaphil moisterizer, and so far I'm really happy with the results. My skin's noticibly clearer, and not dried out like it was with the Murad products. I still get a couple pimples every once in a while, but I'm fine with it because my skin honestly hasn't been like this since I hit puberty. I'm really happy with this product!

Pros:

4oz for good price
Not stripping and irritating
Does it's job

Cons:

Feels too watery, needs to be thicker

Good product. The %10 was too irritating and made my skin peel. And On-The-Spot was too expensive for so little. So I've been using this and it works fine.
