Pros:

It doesn't cost $30 plus S&H like all those "guaranteed to work" products they have on TV. It's easy to use, and doesn't take 20 minutes. It doesn't stink to high heaven, which is a major plus for me. I hate smelly products.

Cons:

If you have any open sores, or if you tend to pick at your face it can sting a little. Depending on how long you leave it on, it can make your eyes sting and water...But it's not that big a deal if you ask me.

If you're like me, and have tired everything under the sun and NOTHING has worked, I say go for it. After all, the worst that can happen is you find another thing that doesn't work for you. Sensitive skin can be a small issue. But I have extremely sensitive skin and I can handle it. If you want to get rid of your acne bad enough, you'll deal with it. After all, what's five minutes of discomfort if it means not spending an hour in front of the mirror groaning over finding ANOTHER new pimple? Tips: Don't slather it on. That's a horrid idea. Only use enough to put a LIGHT layer on the problem areas, wait about five minutes -brush your teeth and wash your hands to pass the time-, then rinse gently with warm water and PAT dry. I say pat dry because its easier on your skin, and doesn't pull at it. It's going to feel a lot like your skin shrank for a few minutes, and RUBBING at it will make it seem worse then it is. So do your self a favor, be kind to your face!

Pros:

Dries up acne quickly, causing skin to clear up at a much faster rate.

Cons:

Sticky and scented.

The application of toothpaste on blemishes is one of the most-effective ways to deal with acne. Apply the toothpaste to pimples before going to sleep, wash it off in the morning, and re-apply as needed.

Pros:

Shrinks pimples

Cons:

Redness, difficult to remove after over night use; which causes popping or scratching of the pimple/blemish.

I give this an OKAY score.

Pros:

Great for spot treatment used everyonce in a while. really reduces redness and size overnight! works better than any spot treatment ive used and cheap.

Cons:

burns for like 10 min. and sometimes hard to take off in the morning.

the pimples I usually get are the big red puss filled bumps that hurt (sometimes almost the size of a dime).when I get those I apply once a day 30 min. before bed. in the morning I gently take off the dried up paste with some warm water.not recommended as a regular face treatment or used everywhere on face. that would burn like HELL.Toothpase used as a spot treatment,(along with a daily cleaner 3 times a day like oxy or clearisil is best).

Pros:

I used it over my acne for about 10-30 min., then spotted with a towel then let sit overnight. When I woke up, it was still all there but definetely smaller and worked okay.

Cons:

Does tingle a little, but that means it's working. It's not the cure for acne people, you have to use Clean and Clear as well

I'm sitting with it on right now after my shower and then I'll wash it off after an hour.

Pros:

- Shrinks the pimple.
- Reduces redness around the pimple.
- Makes the pimple less noticeable.

Cons:

- Thick consistency - 'face mask' like.
- Slightly lighter or darker mark on skin in affected area.

The pro's definately outweigh the cons in terms of how well it works for me, but what I would like to know is if it's going to cause any damage to my skin in the long term! Of course, you wouldn't use this as a long term product, but rather a quick and simple solution. I use it only when I have missed a day of my Proactiv (benzoyl peroxide) treatment, and pimples have formed.
