Pros:

It's very cheap, dosen't smell bad, and easily obtainable.

Cons:

It burns skin VERY badly. I put it on overnight and the next morning it looked like a red oil burn. I've heard of it happening when left on over for 15 mins. Careful!

Only use this on the pimple; otherwise the skin will burn very badly. It works great for such a short time! Greatly reduces the size of inflamed blemishes in one night.

pretty good

Pros:

it definitly woks well

Cons:

some say a red spot appears but i didnt have that problem, if you use the right kind maybe its diffrent, i used rembrant

it will get you results fast and you dont need to go through the embarassment or the long period of time the dermatologist takes to get things straightned out, and chances are you have some at home right now so the availability is perfect.

Pros:

Kills active acne and decreases size

Cons:

If u put too much on one area it burns skin and gives u temporary red spots or areas where applied

Burns the face and stings eyes

I have used a lot of acne products and all of them seem to aggravate my acne, make me breakout more and have a lot of side effects. Toothpaste was the only thing that worked for me and i will continue to use it. It has no side effects if used a normal amount in one area. If applied a lot, the worst thing that can happen is leave temporary red spots which go away within one day. It can leave your skin alittle dry, not too dry. BEST OVER THE COUNTER PRODUCT FOR ACNE.

Pros:

Made my skin feel very soft to the touch, and very clean feeling.. minty fresh. haha

Cons:

Left my face VERY RED!!! I felt like I had been in the sun all day! horrible

I put a small amount of tooth past. "Crest Tarter Protection" and rubbed it all over my face and didn't even leave it on for 30 seconds. I quickly washed it off gently and then washed with my regular skin cleanser St Ives, which I love by the way. Anywho... As soon as I took dried my face I noticed that it slightly red.. a few minutes later it was VERY VERY RED... I hope it goes back to normal before morning... AHH

Pros:

-sucks out white heads in minutes
-improves skin overnight

Cons:

-dries out face if you leave it on for too long
-can scar with continuous use
-can burn a little but its like you can feel it working

wash your face with warm/hot water...DAB on acne.......wash off with regular face wash that you use and then when you wake up your face has reduced redness and size of pimples...i would say it clears up a large pimple in about 3-4 days but the little stuff with go away quickly...DO NOT LEAVE ON OVERNIGHT cause this will cause scarring for at least a year...i recommed using everyother night for bad acne and once or twice a week for minor acne

Pros:

Cleared up my pimple

Cons:

Well it did clear up my pimple but it also burned my skin and left me with a scar that didnt go away for like a year.

I would reccomend not using this but if you do only leave it on for like 10-15 minutes.I left it on over night because i thought it would work faster, big mistake.

Pros:

dry acne, reduce oilyness and redness

Cons:

may lean the opposite way and induce redness

I've used toothpaste before for large acne spots. Lately I've used it overnight and it has reduced some redness and made spots not so obvious. Before I've used it and spots just turned dark red and worse. My skin used to be sensitive, though, whereas now it is not. I suggest using Benzoyl Peroxide everyday in order to prevent acne in the first place.
