Pros:

its works quickly and easily

Cons:

its caan burn a little bit - and the smell of minty freshness

it works for me and ive got pretty senstive skin. If ur worries just check it on ur skin like with dyes and creams. And only put it on the accutal pimple not the skin around it.

Pros:

- Easily found around the house or at any other people's house for that matter.
- Cheap and easy to find (drug store, convenient shops, supermarkets, etc)

Cons:

- Not recommended for people with sensitive skin.
- Too harsh on acne wounds and can be a very painful experience.
- Dries out skin very easily and can worsen inflammation.

It was my mum who first mentioned to me that toothpaste can combat acne. Personally, I have found that toothpaste is not a reliable acne remedy for my skin condition. I have sensitive, oily and acne-proned skin and results have varied from slightly effective (rarely) to detrimental to super-bad-idea. It dried my skin out and left the inflamed acne even redder than before. It also stung so bad when I applied to acne wounds. That was the last of the toothpaste remedy for me.

Pros:

It worked really really good. I left it on for about 30 minutes; and it shrunk my pimples! The more you use it on a daily basis, the less acne you have.

Cons:

Leave it on to long; you will get an effect. I left it on for about 45 minutes and the toothpaste left swollen white patches on my face, that was because it was whitening paste. Do not use Whitening toothepaste.

It works, the first time fast.

Pros:

Minty fresh?

Cons:

Doesn't do anything for me but make the pimples dry up a little. Itchy.

I tried this a few nights and really saw little to no improvement in my acne. I usually get yellow heads or under the skin bumps and heard about trying toothpaste. So I did a generous dab to spot treat my acne spots and it really did nothing but get things sticky and itch.

Pros:

Cheap, feel it working

Cons:

Burns skin

I would only recommend using toothpaste when you have one of those large zits, not simple blackheads or whiteheads. I don't think it will help people who suffer from acne. See your doctor and see what he/she prescribes.
