Tea tree oil is defined by international standard ISO 4730 (2004) (“Oil of Melaleuca, Terpinen-4-ol type”), which specifies levels of 15 components, which are needed to define the oil as “tea tree oil.”

Among over 98 compounds contained in the oil, terpinen-4-ol is responsible for most of the antimicrobial activity.

Pros:

Doesn't dry out my skin. Has kept most of my breakouts under control.

Cons:

It takes a while to dry, but that's about it. I don't mind the smell.

I would strongly recommend this product. I use a higher concentration of it because I feel it works best on my normal to oily skin.

Pros:

Its helps
drys out spots
use all over face, body, hair

Cons:

Its not a cure

Buy it online $3, so much cheaper than a drug store. I put it on all over my face at night, all the time. I believe it helps when mixed into your moisturiser or something. But dab extra on aswell by itself. Don't get near eyes. Its very drying and an antibacterial agent, natural healing.

Pros:

Good for acne.

Cons:

Smell, but you get used to it.

I like tea tree oil, is good for my skin, my skin looks smoother and also dries up my pimples. I wish I had found out long time ago.

Pros:

Works really good on acne!

Cons:

Dries out skin alot, burns a bit, smells bad.

After I wash my face at night with a makeup remover cloth I usually just put a little tea tree oil on a cotton ball and apply it all over my face.

Pros:

Skin feels comfortable after using the acne wash

Cons:

It makes your skin break out even more, and it hurts.

I bought every single tea tree oil line by Body Shop. At first, i had a tinggling and painful burning sensation on my skin. I thought it was working but i realised i had more acne on my face. i usually break out before my period. But i ended having more pimples than ever.

Pros:

It's great, it seriously cleared up my pimples leaving me feeling refreshed and clean! It has a wonderful smell, too. Give it a week or two to work completely. (:

Cons:

Well it stings a little, but well worth it!

Its fantastic! Works better than anything I have ever used before.

Pros:

Shrinks acne

Cons:

smell, price, sometimes drips

I use pure tea tree oil. Each night, I dab a bit on my zits and put some Clean&Clear Salicylic Acid on top to keep it in place (it's liquid). This makes my zits so much smaller. I love it, I just wish it was less expensive. Luckily, mine was on sale; a tiny bottle for $1. :)
