Among over 98 compounds contained in the oil, terpinen-4-ol is responsible for most of the antimicrobial activity.

Pros:

helps get rid of pimples a little, pleasent cooling effect

Cons:

didn't work very well for me.

I have to say I rather like the smell, and after you put it on theres a great cooling effect on your skin which feels wonderful. It worked great for eveyone else so give it a shot or try lavender oil which worked for me.

Its very affective and all natural. got this at the body shop for fairly cheep, it smells amazing

its affective, cheep and it smells really good. its others say how strong it is. so go for the foaming face wash it s not as harsh don't forget the tea tree moisturizer as well because when used it makes the previous more affective for face wash, expholiant and moisturizer it was only 20.00

Pros:

cheap, effective immediately, readily available

Cons:

some people hate the smell but it grows on you!

I have used this for years as a spot treatment and nothing works better. I use it straight up, off my finger or a q-tip. after cleansing and before BP.

Pros:

cheaper than proactiv, smells nice, works the same if not better than proactiv

Cons:

none

I bought body wash, foaming facial cleanser, face mask, and night cream from the body shop and I love it. I've recently stopped wearing make-up because all of my scars are fading and my skin is effing great.

Pros:

Clears up blemishes and makes skin feel cool and tingly!
Has effects similar to BenzP, but without the possibility of harmful side effects.

Cons:

Strong smell. I know that some people experience some irritation of it is not diluted or if it is left on skin too long (personally, I don't have this problem)

Clears up almost all blemishes if left on overnight. May have a strong smell but it fades if you don't use too much. Works great if you don't want to use BP. I have sensitive skin but my skin reacts very well with Tea Tree Oil. If it irritates your skin, try mixing it with your moisturizer. It is also good to put on your skin after you shave your legs! It clears up razor burn very quickly.

Pros:

Clears spots and scars w/out drying out skin

Cons:

Strong smell, slight burning.

Being 13, I hate getting spots. After searching a few forums i found that tea tree oil (as well as lavender and olive oil) helps clear acne. Now my face has minimal spots and all my acne scarring has gone.

Pros:

lifts dirt
clears skin
evens skin tone and brightens

Cons:

oily
foul smell, very potent

My skin is as such that is greasy and almost sops up the dirt from the air and otherwise. Tea tree oil aids my fight against acne. In combination with bp and moisturizer and a very light cleanser, I find that I only get break outs when I'm stressed or there's a shift in hormones. It has helped clear away the little bumps, not the more prominent blemishes
