Pros:

Removes oils, dirt, etc

Cons:

Expensive

I'm not sure why the dermalogica products are so expensive, but they work. I'm sure there's cheaper alternatives, but my mom buys them. They definitely cleanse your face w/o being too drying.

Pros:

Non drying!!!! My face feels very clean after I wash!!

Cons:

It is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Cheaper is not always better, especially when it comes to your skin.

Go to a salon that carries Dermalogica products. Ask the skin specialist there to analize your skin so they can find the best products for your skin type. When you use the cheap drug store products, especially for acne, they have so many ingredients that are drying which will cause your skin to produce more oil which will in turn cause more acne. To balance out your skin you need the right products that will clear your acne gently. Good Luck!

I started using dermalogica for about three months now and my skin has never looked so bad:( I have always had really good skin until I started using this product line my skin is so dried out that it hurts and I am supposedly using the most hydrating products in the line and now all of a sudden my skin is red blotchy with white little bumps all over it! I would never recomend this product line to anyone! Neutrogena is alot better less irritating and alot cheaper.

Pros:

They have a strong reputation and there are specialists available to map your skin

Cons:

I never had significant acne, or pus and open breakouts until I used their products. I have been left scarred after 6 months use. After followup consultations they told me that it would improve. My skin only improved when I stopped using the product

I would not recommend this product to anyone. To add insult to injury they refused to help or refund the £400/$700 of products that I have bought based upont heir recommendations... I have been left scarred and was told I was stupid to keep using their products if they had hadd an adverse effect - I bought into their ideology and philospohy and continued to use the products because I beleived in them. I have no doubt that their products may woprk for some - but I would NEVER RECOMMEND and am seeking to esculate the issue further.

Pros:

This product does work. i have sensitive skin as well as adult acne and although a little drying in places it has been succussful. it also feels very good on the skin.

Cons:

Not available everywhere. i buy dermalogica online.

If this dermalogica product suits your skin you need to make it part of your dailygrooming routine. you can not use it sporadically as it does not work that way.

Pros:

sensitively cleanses skin.
prevents breakouts

Cons:

a bit over-priced, but you get what you pay for!
Of course, I would use multiple bottles of the "cheaper" products and go through the more quickly, therefore in the end, the price balances out. it's just the initial blow.

Know your skin and what reaction(s) chemicals/ingredients have on it. Of course, it's also what you put in your body that has a huge influence on your skins reaction!!!! Try it...if it works.. BUY IT!

Pros:

My skin was hydrated and felt smooth the first two days. It was refreshing and my skin seemed more pliable.

Cons:

I broke out in little tiny bumps all over after two days. It started near my eyes and then my entire face was covered in what appeared to be almost like impetigo like bumps. It was itchy and my skin was the worst it's ever been.

I believe that there is some type of mega allergin in this product because I've read some other reviews that are very similiar to mine. The only other thing I could think is that this is not a product for adult sensitive skin. I believe it to be allergy though...I did a mini allergy test on my arm w/ all products from the sample kit and the biggest reaction was from the face wash and the mosturizers. My face burned a little when I used the toner.

Pros:

it makes me feel refreshed and clean.

Cons:

it caused me to have more acne.

i used to only have minor pimples along my t-zone but when i started using this i have them all over. they are red and hurt. someone told me that dermalogica makes the acne worse before it makes it better..but how long will that take?

Pros:

I got it prescribed to me after saying i used clean and clear(which she had a go at me for using) so she gave me the travel pack to use for a month. It's great to use.

Cons:

If you stop using it, it will not work but i use every morning and night. It is expensive, but at least it works.
