Pros:

clear, didn't really smell

Cons:

didn't work at all

I used this for over a month but it did nothing. I stopped using it and just used Neutrogena on-the-spot and my skin improved. It's still not that good...but better than when I was used Sodium Sulfacetamide. I guess it's just me.

Pros:

This product is the best at clearing up zits quickly. I use it every other night, and when I wake up, any pimples have dried up, and my pores have opened up. It's eliminated my need for antibiotics.

Cons:

It has a rather strong smell, so it can really only be used at night. That also means that, if you are an evening showerer and you don't actually rinse it all of in the morning, that you will walk around with a slight brimstone odor.

One of the most effective acne meds I've ever used.

Pros:

Cleared up larger breakouts, No side effects

Cons:

Still have minor breakouts, cost $100 without insurance

About 75% of my acne is gone, expect in a few stubborn spots around my cheeks. Even though I slather this on religiously every night I still see an occasional small pimple here and there. No side effects.

Pros:

it controls oil better than anything i've ever tried and it's started clearing up my breakouts.

Cons:

it's sort of drying to my skin and because there's color to it, it stays on my dry spots and my face looks kind of splotchy

i've had oily skin for a long time and it's really embarrassing. i'm soo happy that i have finally found something that works for me! i'm also using differin gel along with it so that may be the cause of the dryness, seeing as everyone reported none. i have really sensitive skin though. i will definitely keep using it in though and see if it completely clears my skin.

Pros:

It doesn't leave your skin feeling tight and red and irritated like Benzoyle Peroxide does. It's really gentle and even tones down the look of red marks. Goes on smooth too.

Cons:

A LITTLE bit drying the first week, but once my skin adapted to it, it was fine.

I am currently using the Canadian version which is Sulfacte - R, so it's a little different from Klaron but generally is the same thing. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and so far, its a WAY better alternative to BP. BP just made my skin way too red and too dry and irritated. Honestly, I felt like a freak whenever I left my house because of how red and irritated I was. I heard about this stuff on this site and begged my doctor to give me a prescription. So far it has been working fairly well, I still break out but it WAS just my period week, and I usually get a breakout before then. It's helped a lot and since I've only been using it for three weeks and it usually takes about 2 months to see a products full potential,I'm gonna stick on it. so far its the best thing ive used, give it a try if you have mild/somewhat moderate acne.

I use the pads and they make my skin feel so clean. Quickly clears existing acne and prevents future breakouts. This is like a wonder drug for acne.

Cons:

none

Pros:

It works! My 9 month post-accutane skin was starting to get mild breakouts again. Within a month, my skin has the same glow it used to...
It didn't work for me pre-accutane (with more severe acne), but it clears up mild acne unbelievably

Cons:

Can make skin a little too dry sometimes...but then I just cut down to once a day or every other day

Love it! Really happy that I've found a maintenance therapy that doesn't make me red and peely (like taz and retin-a). It might not work for severe acne, but if you have oily skin and always a couple of small breakouts, give this a try!

Pros:

It is clear so I can use durning the day under make-up. There is no smell. Doesn't dry my skin. I can tell already that it making huge difference.

Cons:

I haven't been using too long to find any cons yet. I'm just hoping I don't become immune and/or resistant to it as it is an antibiotic

My medical wouldn't pay for Klaron, so I payed full price out of pocket--$138 dollars. However, the bottle is very large and you only need a nickle size amount to spread all over your face. I really like this stuff so far. I would do just about anything to get clear skin, so I actually didn't mind paying the amount I did as I can tell it is doing wonders in only a week!

Pros:

haven't seen any pro's yet.

Cons:

i am using the lotion, not the wash or cream. it is runny and it doesn't rub in. it looks chalky on skin. it smells very bad. it's expensive if you don't have insurance.

take oral antibiotics, maybe try the wash, but the lotion is no good.

Pros:

Great stuff. Seems to be working. Using it with Differin & Monodox.

Cons:

Don't know which prescription is doing it, but face is dry and sunburnt easily in 10 minutes.

Get it if you need it.
