Pros:

seemed to work at first

Cons:

SCAM!! irritated my skin. customer service horrible!

I have tried everything to help my acne, proactive, murad, clean and clear, clinique, stidex. They all were a dissapointment. I was so fed up with my acne, and when I saw skin id on tv I got really excited. My mom decided to let my try it. It seemed to work at first, but then it began to irritate my skin and my cystic acne came back. I returned the empty bottles within about 40 days, which cost $8 in shipping. It was extremely hard to find out how to cancel my membership on the skin id website, so I emailed them. I got an email back the next day saying that my membership had been canceled. About a month later, another skin id kit was sent to me, and $50 was charged to my mom's credit card. My mom called the company and they said they didn't understand why we were sent another kit, because they found on their computer that we had cancelled the account. Plus, the original $30 for the trial kit was never put back on my mom's credit card. They said to keep the kit and that they would reimburse the $30, and the $50 (which included the shipping). My mom checked her credit card statement today, and the $30 was credited, but not the full $50 (they didn't give us back the shipping). My mom spent about 20 minutes on the phone with the company and the lady hung up on my mom. She called back and asked for a manager; they lady called her a liar, and told her to calm down. She also said they couldn't reimburse her shipping cost because their "computers were down". This company is a total scam. They are charging us for their mistake. My mom will be calling the BBB. I will never again order anything through mail order. I am currently trying a new skin care kit called "No Zit Sherlock" and it is working beautifully! You don't have to order it on the phone (I found it at sephora).

Pros:

Works good at first

Cons:

Rash
dried out skin
bad customer service

I was really excited to try anything that was more customized than pro-active. I have sensitive skin and it worked okay at first. After about a week my skin was burning and itchy. I came to the conclusion maybe I was allergic to it. I called the customer service reps to see if they had anything without benzoyl peroxide. When they said they did not, they were not very helpful with canceling my subscription. They would not refund my money or try to make it right. That was the end of my road with using this company in the future. I do not recommend this product to anyone.

Pros:

-worked well at first
-wasn't too harsh
-cleanser and moisturizer smelled good
-Gave a nice glow for the first hour or so after washing my face

Cons:

-didn't work well after the first 2-3 weeks.
-HORRIBLE customer service
-it autoships, so every month they send you more whether you want it or not. The customer service makes it hard to cancel this.
-Use menthol (HORRIBLE skin irritant!)

I had the cream cleanser, anti-acne treatment, and moisturizer. I have combination skin, with light-moderate acne. I guess this cleared my skin up a little bit, but it didn't last for long. They say that it's a personalized acne system, but it really isn't. Everyone gets the same anti-acne treatment, the only thing that changes is the face wash and the moisturizer or additional treatment. They send you the stuff every month, and the customer service is so bad that it took me 2 months to get them to cancel it, so I ended up paying 150 dollars for skin care that I didn't even want. I always liked Neutrogena's over the counter stuff, but this just dissapointed me.

Pros:

The first batch i got worked, only after a couple of months of using it.

Cons:

Got a nasty allergic reaction
Eye lids swelled up ad could barely open them, they got really red and itchy and after the swelling had gone down my eye lids were all stretched out and wrinkly and extremely dry and flakey!

The first batch that I bought worked alright after a couple if months of using it. The lotion makes your skin super dry and tight like you just got botox injections or something! I had to put another lotion on my face cause it hurt my skin so much! It did get rid of my acne for a few weeks until I started using the second batch... When I started using the second batch sent to me, my eye lids swelled up and I didn't even put the lotion on or around my eyes! It was horrible! I looked like an alien I couldn't believe how swollen my eye lids got. I had to go to the doctor and get anti histamine pills and a special cream for my eye lids so they wouldn't be so red an itchy. Overall I don't recommend this product at all!

Pros:

Works in the beginning

Cons:

Dries out the skin!

I loved it at first, but the more I used it the more it burned my skin. The skin around my nose and under my mouth was extremely irritated. I felt it did more damage than good to my face. When I put it on at night, I noticed that my pillow cases were bleached in the morning. Something that strong that can bleach your pillow cases while you're sleeping on them should not be used on your face! It's expensive and you have to pay monthly. It's no bueno.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

RED face. Dry skin. Not pretty.

My skin is sensitive, and when you take your online quiz you can rate how sensitive your skin is, i dragged it to the highest level. When i got my Skin ID the very First time i used it, i woke up to my face being extremely red, my mom said i looked like i got a sunburn on my whole face, my skin was itchy and it is soooo dried out. My face is never dried out my skin is usually soft. Now, i have to deal with acne and dry skin. Sucks.. I did only use this product once, but after i woke up.. You could not pay me to try it a second time.
