Not really understanding the bad reviews
Love this stuff! Was an impulse buy at Walmart. Heard lots of good stuff about this so I just gave it a go. Two drops is enough for the entire face and it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feel. Put some on before bed and woke up to my redness soothed and some big red zits smaller, no clogged pores either. Been using it for about 3 days and I love it! Really helping my redness. The only thing I don't like about this is the smell and packaging. Wish it came with a dropper rather than the thing it has.

Pros:

Smells good
Improvement on scars is seen within days
Fairly cheap

Cons:

A bit too oily
It's easy to use too much

I have three acne scars on my nose, and they're only about a month old. I bought Bio-Oil a long time ago, but never used it as I thought it would break me out because I have oily skin. These three scars were really bugging me though, so I decided to try applying the Bio-Oil for a while to see if it would work. I've been using it for about a week now, applying it one or two times a day, and one of the scars has almost completely faded. The two others are getting there, slowly but surely. Although it may be a bit oily, it doesn't really bother me because I'm only using it on my nose when I'm at home and it hasn't given me any pimples so far. This is something you should definitely try out!

Pros:

Works quickly for moisturizing, smells good, protects your skin, does make your skin look and feel healthier and younger! I seem to wash dishes 3x a day, my hands were a mess! With Bio Oil, they looked 10 years younger in a matter of days!!!

Cons:

It is oily, hence the name Bio Oil, but soaks in quickly!

It didn't seem to help my stretch marks, (yet) but it did make my skin feel better. My skin would actually hurt sometimes, from my stretch marks or from my hands always being wet then drying them off then wetting them again with house work, and winter coming! I cut my finger to the bone about a month ago, and as soon as the wound closed, I started using bio oil on my hands and within 2 weeks you can barely see a scar! It's really amazing. If nothing else, use it on your hands and arms, it's so incredible!

Pros:

Inexpensive, lasts for a long time and you only need a tiny amount each time, doesn't clog pores, very good for my skin, best anti-aging product.

Cons:

None.

This is the best anti-aging product ever. I have been using this product on my face morning & night for the past 5 years and my skin is better than it was before I started using it (i'm 33 years old and my skin is better than it was in my early - mid twenties!). I used to have terrible blotchy skin with acne on my cheeks & chin, dry flaky patches of skin and uneven skin tone and nothing would help. Ever since using bio-oil my skin has been almost perfect! No more break-outs, no more dry patches and constant compliments on how I have such good youthful skin! I will continue to use this product probably forever. It doesn't really do anything for my stretchmarks but is fantastic for my face & also the backs of my hands. Highly recommended.

Pros:

- Cheap
- Available in chemists, pharmacies..etc

Cons:

- Did not lighten scars
- Did nothing for stretch marks
- Oily

I used the entire bottle but it did not do anything for my scars or acne. I also experimented on my body stretch marks and it did nothing. It was gentle on my skin but just made it feel extra oily on my already extremely oily skin. Good if you have dry or flaky skin.

Pros:

Moisturizes without clogging pores. Reduces shine on forehead. Makes my skin feel smooth and soft. Makes my complexion rosy. Works really well under mineral makeup. Great for men and women as there's no overpowering aroma. Reasonably priced.

Cons:

none. maybe b/c it's an oil people think it will clog pores, it totally doesn't. i've tried a ton of other "face oils" that all have clogged my pores in the past...but this one doesn't

Try this for a week. My mom originally bought this for my stretch marks and it seems to really moisturize my skin well, so when i started using retin-a and my skin got really dry and flakey, i thought, why not try this. i first only used it before i'd go to the gym, which is where i first noticed that it took away the shine that i usually have on my forehead (after rubbing it in of course). But then i also noticed my skin started glowing a little more and the zit scars that usually take a week to two to go away (while using retin a) would peel off quicker with the bio oil. So, then i started using it in the mornings under my mineral makeup and it helped the makeup to glide on smoothly. I've been using it now for a month and I'm quite satisfied. I use it day/night/before the gym...after a facial steam. i rub it into zits and it seems to help them disappear too!!!! I recommend everyone to at least TRY IT! it's only $13.

Pros:

Doesn't make face look greasy
Can apply under make up
Evens out skintone

Cons:

Made me break out on my chin
Clogged pores
Didnt make acne scars go away

I used it every morning and night just like I read in the directions for a month. I know you're suppose to use it for a minimum of 3 months but it started making me break out on my chin after 2 weeks. In the beganning I felt like it was working , evening out my skintone . But I recently stopped using it like 2 days ago . Everyone has different skin, so it might work for someone else.

Pros:

None for acne

Cons:

- Made my face super oily.. Well it is oil.
- Made me break out
- Did not do anything for acne scars

It doesn't do anything for acne or acne scars, if anything just makes it worse. BUT one thing I use it for is stretch marks. I used it everyday, sometimes twice a day if I had the time. I didnt just apply it to the troubled areas, but I massaged it in for a few minutes, sometimes even the whole time Im on the phone with my boyfriend! (which is a long time). It works better that way. There are AWESOME results for that. Now Im not so iffy about wearing shorts or skirts :)
