Pros:

Leaves skin very soft
No harsh scent
Doesn't cause greasy skin, yet moisturizes dry areas
Removes makeup

Cons:

Does not prevent acne

I have been alternating this with Neutrogena Stress Solution scrub (which I let sit on my skin for a few minutes before rinsing, like was recommended here). This combination has been working well so far. When I feel I am breaking out more, I will use the medicated scrub at night. I feel like it is more effective when I don't wash with it every day, morning and night. I'd say I use the scrub 2-3 times per week. My skin feels much healthier and soft. I've never had such velvety skin!

P.S . Keep your body dove soap and Face Dove soap Separate, and restricted for face and body wash respectively

Pros:

-Leaves skin feeling fresh
-Doesn't cause irritation
-Very mild type of soap

I am a teenager and my acne started to get worse over the years so my parents decided to take me to the dermotologist. Along with two acne creams they gave me two Dove unsented beauty bars because its better than other cleansers.

Pros:

My skin is soft, and it seems to me my acne is clearing! I don't see how this soap could clog pores if you are rinsing your face properly after use.

Cons:

Have yet to experience any.

I am 21 years old and have had acne since junior high. I have tried everything, like anyone else, save prescription pills like Acutane. I never have been willing to take acne pills because of horror stories that I have heard! Just a few weeks ago I started using Dove because it is what my boyfriend uses and he's got beautiful skin. Since starting using it a few weeks ago my skin has changed quite a bit! A few months ago I started using Hydrogen Peroxide 3% after washing to kill any bacteria (after research I found using HP was safe for my skin). After using HP I moisturized with Aveeno Baby Lotion but just switched this week to LiveClean Baby lotion with is 95% organic ingredients, hypoallergenic, and all those other wonderful things! Twice a week I use a gel mask in the shower that is 100% organic by Alba Botanica, and I love it! I also have a hard time clearing out dead skin cells from my skin so I started shaving my face below my browline to get rid of anything extra (of course not shaving over pimples, that is not a good idea! This I only do once a week and use a scrubbing sponge once a week. What I also did was switch my makeup to Bare Minerals because using liquid foundations and everything felt really gross. I believe this has been a contributor to the change in my skin. I drink lots of water, take multivitamins, and eat fairly healthy, but I have never believed much that diet had any baring on my sensitive skin outside of the fact that drinking as much water as possible can't be bad for it. I wanted to tell everyone not to give up! It really depends on a lot more than what skin type you have. I think where you live also has a lot to do with it (weather-wise: if it is humid or dry, lots of sun or wind etc.) You just need to find the regimen that works right for you. Do your research, and if you have sensitive skin I would try to stick with anything that doesn't have salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide in it, I found that these don't h

Pros:

Light, Does not irritate skin, Affordable, Unscented, Lasts long

Cons:

If too much is applied, might be hard to wash off

This soap is a very light and easy cleanser, doesn't clog pores, doesn't irritate skin and is perfect for sensitive skin. It may dry your skin a little bit but that's any soap, I won't even list it as a con. This is a great product for acne prone skin.

Pros:

leaves soft skin- used for all skin type
creamy

Cons:

don't lay near anything smelly- it smells weird later on
costs alot for a bar of soap

I need this soap if their body reacts horribly to soaps- this is the soap to use. I stopped using it for a few months- my body felt rough, my face had acne- all the cleansers i bought did not work. So buy!

Pros:

I started using this product a month ago because one of my colleagues at work told me it does wonders on her skin. I was skeptical at first because I was using spectrojel and BP. I bought the soap It and I noticed a big difference on my skin! I no longer have red spots and my acne has almost dissapeared ( a couple of pimples but it's better than having 20) I wash my face then use "dove's spf 15 face cream".

Cons:

Face feels tight and a bit dry after washing, but I use a face cream.

This soap has been by far the best product and it's cheap!

Pros:

Doesn't burn skin, No irritation, Skin feels very soft, Smells very nice, Very inexpensive, Lathers very nicely and Cleans face very well

Cons:

Skin can get a little dry so use moisturizer after washing

This is THE best product I have ever used for my face. The other products (Acne face washes, Makeup removing wipes, etc) have either dried my face out completely and caused more acne or have not completely removed all my makeup and in turn has caused me to break out more! I can't believe I haven't tried this sooner. My doctor recommended this to me and I will NEVER use another product again. I have been using Dove for a few weeks and my acne is almost completely clear. I just have three small pimples, but it is no big deal. Along with Dove sensitive soap I am also using a moisturizer that has salicylic acid in it. Also, I am using the clean and clear daily pore cleansing pads at night. I am also using an exfoliant weekly (Freeman's clay mask). My face feels so smooth and nice and it really has improved drastically! I have recommended Dove to all my friends and I recommend it to anyone who is thinking of using it. What do you have to lose? Except acne?
