Pros:

Inexpensive, very clean feeling

Cons:

Some drying over face.

I have been battling Acne since I hit puberty and now I'm 26! I have used expensive ($300) creams that take months to show effectivness. I just started using Dove soap the past few days and I cannot believe my face!! NO ACNE!!! I saw results the very next morning! I used it because I ran out of my face wash, I wish I started sooner!!! I had a miracle bar in my shower all this time!!

Pros:

Good clean feeling, dries up pimples well.

Cons:

None really, melts quickly if not stored in a well draining soap dish. Can be drying, which is good for pimples, but you will need a moisturizer.

Good product for whole body, I alternate use of this with Olay products.

Pros:

Affordable, effective, smells wonderful.

Cons:

Nothing!

I ALWAYS end up coming back to this. As of right now, I just wash with this in the morning and at night, and it's managed to clear my moderate acne almost completely. Good stuff.

Pros:

Leaves skin very soft
No harsh scent
Doesn't cause greasy skin, yet moisturizes dry areas
Removes makeup

Cons:

Does not prevent acne

I have been alternating this with Neutrogena Stress Solution scrub (which I let sit on my skin for a few minutes before rinsing, like was recommended here). This combination has been working well so far. When I feel I am breaking out more, I will use the medicated scrub at night. I feel like it is more effective when I don't wash with it every day, morning and night. I'd say I use the scrub 2-3 times per week. My skin feels much healthier and soft. I've never had such velvety skin!

Pros:

Cleans off ALL makeup
Great for sensative skin
Is not drying
No fragrance
Very cheap compaired to other face washes
Last a long time

Cons:

Not cruelty free

Its a good cleanser for the face and body. It takes off all makeup including mascara. Its an all around good soap. I hate having to use a different product to remove my eye makeup and with this soap it does it all in one step. Plus it does not dry out your skin which is great. My only complaint is that Dove is not cruelty-free, for this reason I am always on the search for a better soap but so far this soap is the only one that works for all my facial soap needs and doesnt cause breakouts or clog my pores.

Pros:

My skin felt clean and soft and not dry. It helps the shininess on my face too. It lasts a lot longer that a bottled cleanser because it's a bar.

Cons:

It did not help my acne at all, and it even worsened my body acne.

The bottom line is that I bought it for my acne but it did nit solve my problem. However, I now use it as a regular soap for the rest of my body because it leaves your skin smooth.

Pros:

Lathers nicely, does not irritate skin whatsoever, gentle on skin, does not have a bad smell, affordable, helps keep skin clean and doable.

Cons:

If left in water it tends to melt..so do not leave the soap in water.

Its a great product for people suffering from mild to moderate acne in conjunction with any acne moisturizer, I really really recommend this product.

Pros:

Helps keep skin looking refreshed and clear. Affordable

Cons:

None the best cleanser and I have tried so many.

I started using Dove when my dermatologist told me to wash with this twice a day and also perscribed Retin A Micro for the nighttime. These two things have worked miracles for my skin. I have battled acne for years and to wake up with beautiful skin everyday is great. I have been doing this for almost three months and it looks better each day. I did use another soap for a couple of days and my skin did get a few pimples. Dove always leaves my skin feeling smooth and fresh.

Pros:

My son is 16 with acne. I have taken him to the dermatologist numerous times. I am 35 and getting adult acne. My son started using dove and his face has cleared up completly. My concern was blocked pores. I tried everything now I will try dove.

Cons:

I am worried about blocked pores/blackheads.

I have tried neutrogena, minocycline, zeno, obagi skincare, acne free, proactive, neutrogena wave, basis, cetaphil, nothing is working. I have seen the results on my sons face and his acne was very bad. I am going to try Dove!
