Pros:

lathers well, cheap, although unscented has a refreshing smell to it, it works

Cons:

A bit drying

I used expensive cleansers claiming to clear acne and it just made my skin irritated and blistered. I thought to use Dove soap and it cleared up big bumps that have been irritating me for weeks. I am tempted to use other expensive products but I know that this is the best cleanser/bar for me. My husband is happy that I found something that really works.

Pros:

Wow, this product ive been using for a long time and ive never ran into problems. Sometimes if gives you dryish skin but thats fine with me! ( better than redness ) haha! but yeah this product is unbelievely helpful for being just a bar of soap!

Cons:

probably just the drying it causes sometimes.

this product is amazing for a bar of soap! ive tried all those other "sensitive skin cleansers" but nothing really works, they all give you an irritation for like three hours and then your ok. but it tends to get really annoying becuase you just sit there and wait for the redness and irritation to go down when you could be PARTYING! :] anyways, anyone with redness, acne, or anything of that sort with very sensitive skin and has tried other products that dont seem to work, DOVE SENSiTiVE SKiN SOAP is PERFECT for you. i can guarentee it.

Pros:

Leaves skin balanced and touchable. Gets rid of Blemishes.

Cons:

leaves it a tiny bit dry

I had just gotten off of acutain about 4 months ago my skin has never skin looked so clear. I had a few pimples pop up and a few black heads on my nose. So I decided that will use the rest of my proactive solution to treat this. Big MISTAKE! Left my face red and blotchy I looked like an ugly freak! I tried a whole bunch of natural remedies to get down the redness and nothing worked. I use dove on my body and on my hands. I noticed how much lighter and touchable my body and hands were than my face. In the back of my mind I could hear my mother saying " Don't ever use soap on your face!" Than i thought why not you use it on the rest of your body why not the skin on your face? So i tried it on my face . Amazingly my face was more touchable lighter and the blemishes became less red! I'm not ever going to use anything but dove again!

Really good. People say not to use soap on your face...yes well, acne medicated washes are way harsher than this soap. The trick is to be gentle. Lukewarm/tepid water, make a lot of lather (thick) and massage this on your face. I like to leave it on for a bit, then wash off with more tepid water. Do not use scrubs, meds or anything. You will see an improvement. I personally find the white orginal works well too.

its been a week so far and almost all my cheek pimples are gone and nothing new has formed. I cant believe a regimen (soap+water) this simple can have such major effects. I've been suffering the acne battle for 8months now. Also I started to shave with this soap yesterday and it gives me a smooth shave. All other shaving creams are messy and irritate my skin. I had no micro bumps after the shave. FANTASTIC!

Pros:

The white bar's fragrance is wonderful, the lather is great, it cleans deep down getting makeup off and everything! An absolutely amazing product!

Cons:

Nothing

I love this soap!!! I have had severe acne forseven years and have literally tried every acne product on this planet! My skin was left red, inflamed, raw, and my skin just completely had it. I gave up hope of clearing my skin a year ago and decided to just simply wash my face with dove soap since it was made for sensitive skin and that was it. Never in a million years after spending hundreds of dollars on all those acne products out there that Dove SOAP would be the best thing i have done for my face!!!!! Within a month the redness and irritation was completely gone. My skin was smooth, moisturize, and best of all clearer than it has been in seven years! I just washed my face three times a day with the Dove white soap and that's it. No acne creams, gels, antibiotics, or anything else! I am even getting complimented on my skin! Thank you Dove!!!!!!!
