This may help !
I haven't used this exact Vaseline i used the Aleo Vera one i find it calms the redness down and speeds up the healing. Also i now drink the Aleo Vera drink and its helped my skin so much i don't have clear skin but the amount is reducing. I find only washing your face , using scrubs and masks have helped a lot. Also don't be afraid to go to the doctor and ask as they can give you creams and washes that will clean out your pours. Also people say its a myth about chocolate causing spots , it isn't.However its not just chocolate if your diet consist of lots of salts and sugars and you don't eat fruit that will be a main cause. Now when i want to snack i pick up some fruit.Another thing i do it soak my face in hot water , however make sure you use a non perfumed moisturizer , something like Aqueous Cream BP you can get this proscribed or buy it in a pharmacy.Another thing is if a spot isn't ready to pop don't mess with it , you'll regret it after , there will be a large redness and cut which may be infected this can get very big and hard to cover its not worth it. Try not to pick !Please reply if you have any suggestions and things i could try please :)

Yes but if its not bad acne don't use it only use it for scars , tea tree oil is great aswell it makes them go really red then over night as the tea tree oil marks go they take the redness from the acne with them and also kills them

Pros:

Works well to moisturize the under eye area.
Use it after shaving my legs to give a soft clean feeling and prevent shave rash
Stops the itch from excema

Cons:

Used on my face and created a lot of closed comedones..
Greasy

Used this product for pretty much everything when Tyra banks said it was her beauty secret. Had patches of excema on my face from using a beauty product. That caused a major case of closed comedones all over my cheek area. The only thing that I use this product for now is to put on after shaving. Also rub it all over my feet and put on bed socks and the next day my feet a nice and soft...

great product
This is a great product with multiple uses: moisturizer, mascara, make-up remover, hand cream etc. Mostly i use vaseline on my lips at night and in the morning they become so smooth and soft. Ultimate Moisturizer indeed.

Vaseline Has Healing Properties
Vaseline does get bad reviews saying that its pore clogging. I beg the differ. I live by this stuff daily. It is moisturizing, healing and soothing to my skin. Now I just restocked and it seems that my all time favorite ones from Big Lots/Family Dollar the formula has changed. Its not as thick and creamy as usual, not sure whats going on with it now. Ive gotta search for a new brand. If any of you can relate and know where I can get the thick Vaseline at Please feel free to chime in and let me know. Thanks, BA.

Pros:

None

Cons:

ALL! Clogged pores and cysts galore!

I don't understand the reviews talking about how wonderful Vaseline is. I used it on my chin a day or two after a Fraxel Restore laser treatment that burned me. I had to have something act as a barrier. This stuff clogged me up and I had over five cysts pop up. DO NOT USE THIS STUFF!!!

I think you were simply using the wrong remedy: Vaseline is supposed to heal skin by rejoining flesh and skin cells, for everyday purposes, not relieving pain or healing viscous burns which may only be healed by professional Doctor treatment. You probably should've used something like lotion or a bag of ice to soothe the burn. If anything, Vaseline reacts with different skin types and works for only certain purposes. I'm not sure what you went through, but I hope this comment could help.

so I have used everything from Proactive to mary kay to clean and clear ALL brands (my skin is olive..nothing worked like Vaseline. How I use it: I put vaseline on my face (yes the whole face) for about 40min - 1hour After that I steam my face for 5 min or until my face feel sweaty Then I bring cotton balls and baby oil .. I remove the vaseline using them ..all the dirt will be out of your face on the cotton ball (you will be amazed) then I wash my face with cold water ,or you can use a cotton ball (to close the pros) put baby oil again on your face and leave it as much as you can ..overnight is great. I do this once every week and my skin feels much better ,acne are less and scars are almost gone..
