Pros:

None for me.

Cons:

Dried out my skin very badly.
Its hard to spread a layer of this stuff around.
Irritates skin.
When it dries, it kinda looks like powder or something on your face.

This product contains 10% Benzoyl Peroxide which can really dry out the skin especially since its a very effective and powerful chemical. If you were gonna use something that contains Benzoyl Peroxide, I would recommend the Clean & Clear Advantage 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser. It contains only 5% Benzoyl Peroxide and is more gentle on the skin. But let me tell you that Benzoyl Peroxide is a little drying anyway. Its said that it does a great job of washing away excess oil and impurities. But no. I dont recommend the Persa-Gel.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Made me have a SEVERE allerigic reaction

I had a lot of pimples and I thought that buying this product would help me. I was hoping for results but the following morning when I woke up after putting just a little on my nose, forehead, and cheeks, my face blew up into SEVERE hives and the hives spread to my eyes so I could barely see! It was a HORRIBLE experience!! If you have VERY sensitive skin like me, please do not risk getting this horrible allergic reaction.

Pros:

-Reduces acne rapidly
-Didn't notice any irritation or severe dryness using this.

Cons:

-Seems to clump on very badly on the skin
-Expensive
-Small Quantity

I heard so much good stuff about Clean and Clear's Persa-Gel from the reviews here. I'm currently a long term user of Panoxyl Aquagel, I begun at 2.5% and moved up to 5%. So far though it seems the Aquagel has become inefficient at removing my stuborn acne. So it decided to purchase this gel over eBay. The most noticeable difference was the price, this is very expensive at $9.00 considering the quantity which is 28g compared to 40g worth of gel I get from Aquagel. This is relative though considering you only need to spot treat with Persa-Gel, on the otherhand I can still buy a triple pack of Aquagel 5% for about $13.00 so I felt pretty ripped off. My biggest pro to this product is that I witnessed no irritation or burning (and my acne reduced much faster then before), I had used another 10% BP treatment before which was Quinoderm and that unlike this treatment stung horribly and caused acne due to the extent of the irritation. This for a 10% BP treatment is quite an accomplishment and you get the rapid acne reduction alongside the given strength. Though the major con is that I don't think it was worth the price, I think I'll just purchase Panoxyl's Aquagel at a 10% strength if I want a stronger treatment, also the Persa-gel didn't seem to absorb into my skin well and instead clumped up which to me felt like a waste of an already expensive product. This product great for customers on here who are willing to fork out any amount of cash for a treatment, but for those on a tight budget you should look elsewhere, I suggest looking into purchasing Dan's 2.5% Treatment, while it's pricey you get so much product and no other company out there delivers that (wish he would sell at different strengths!) I also highly recommend Aquagel which is cheap and delivers very well, another product you can try is Nixoderm which is a Salicylic acid treatment but from experience has gotten rid of my acne faster than any other BP treatment on th

Pros:

It didn't make my pimple any worse and it's gone now after a few days.

Cons:

MY WHOLE FACE IS COVERED WITH LITTLE IRRITATION BUMPS! After the first two days of using Persa-Gel 10 on two or three spots, my whole face broke out in those little non-red bumps that don't hurt, but itch sometimes. I know I have sensitive skin, but for my whole face to break out????

It works, but this is a BIG "NO" FOR PEOPLE WITH SENSITIVE SKIN!

Pros:

Seems to work pretty good! I've only been using it a couple days and my skin feels better.

Cons:

It dries your skin out (but what acne product doesn't?)

I have had acne since I was a teen and now I'm almost 30. I was pretty clear for awhile, but recently, breakouts have cropped up again, so I added this product to my daily routine. My face seems to be clearing nicely and even though it says 10%, it isn't irritating like I thought it would be.

Pros:

benzoyl peroxide, works fast to clear breakouts, prevents breakouts, nice consistency, not too drying, no strong fragrance, inexpensive

Cons:

can't think of any

Best benzoyl peroxide treatment on the market. When I get a big pimple, I use this product to zap it fast. Under sunscreen, it also works to prevent pimples from forming in the "danger zones." I've used this product loyally for 5+ years...will never switch to another brand.

Pros:

clears up skin dramatically!
clears up all kinds of acne
doesnt sting at all

Cons:

may take a bit longer to start working on some skin types.
the smell may bother some (basic lotion/cream smell)

This product is amazing! I had a REALLY BAD breakout during exams and it cleared all of the acne up in about 3-4 days. I would recommend this product to anyone! I use it every night to make sure my skin is clear.
