Pros:

Initially I felt as though my skin got better and periods were steady.

Cons:

My chest grew larger! HORRIBLE! I have gained 10 pounds! Very moody, grumpy, sleepy all the time! No interest in all the things I loved to do.

This pill is not for verybody, please consult before taking and stop as soon as you see any odd changes.

Pros:

It clears up you skin in about a month. I had no weigh gain. The only thing that got bigger where my brests (went from a A to a very nice B cup). Your period is the shortest and lightset you could ever dream of. And no more mood swings!!!

Cons:

Well you face will not stay zit free but it dose a pretty damn good job.

It worked of me but that might not say much for you. I love it and never want to come of it. I do not have bad mood swings any more and my boyfriend loves it! My period is so much better only 3 days insted of a week!!! baslicly if you are on this with a good salicylic face wash and benzoyl peroxide, and you will just be zit free!!!

I originally got on Yaz for my moderate sometimes severe cystic acne & regulate my period. Not getting preggo is a bonus. My skin got worse the 1st week. I then started using Proactiv & it got even worse. So I started a supplement that consists of fish oil, flax seed oil, & borage oil. I havent gotten a cyst since. I've had acne since I was in the 6th grade and I'm now 23. I make sure to drink lots of water & I believe this regime together is what worked for me. my confidence is at an all time high, although I am left with dark spots. Im only finishing my 1st month on Yaz (now on day 3 of inactive pill) haven't gotten my period yet but I'm not worried since it can take time for a routine to become established in regard to your period. Ive read horror stories but I didnt get one side effect. I suffer from anxiety but this doesnt make it progressively worse. Just try it because its basically trial 7 error. This was my 1st OC so I was lucky. Hope this helps.

Pros:

NO PERIODS!!! clearing my skin already, honestly no lie. no other side effects besides i'm not hungry every 5 seconds like before haha.

Cons:

besides the talk of bigger boobs, i like my small double A's, nothing

I have honestly only been on this for about a week and i had pretty okay very bad skin, pimples everywhere, i tried everything from cheap stuff to proactiv and nothing worked, proactive made it worse. I went on YAZ for my boyfriend and no more periods and it completely took a toll on me. It made a big difference. I already only have about 5 pimples left, before i started i had over 10 no lie. I love this stuff so much. and so does my boyfriend. ;]]

Pros:

really nothing but shorter periods , i dont see anything happening to my face

nothing , am not having any bad side effects

it might be working , am face doesn't look as bad as it use to , so i would say give it a try. i think it takes 3 months to work i have only been on it for 2 1/2 months .but give it a try,

Pros:

Started to clear skin and old acne scars after a few days, weight loss

SIDE EFFECTS!! Gave me random (and scary) sensations of vertigo, messed with my vision, messed with my hearing, dizziness, lightheadedness, fatigue, NO sleep, trouble breathing, bloated,

Just google the endless complaints on this birth control pill. I don't know how long this thing is gonna be "FDA approved", but SO many ladies are writing about the multitude of side effects this pill causes! Many girls have even had severe panic attacks and blood clots from it..The point is, YAZ is a very new drug to the market and it contains potassium, which could easily affect the blood stream and heart. I used this pill for 3 days, and on the first day I nearly passed out several times. I should've stopped then, but after doing more research a couple days later, I decided that synthetically perfect skin was something not worth testing this drug out for. I'm not against birth control for acne, but since this birth control tampers with your emotions and potassium levels, I won't even touch it. Seriously, just look up YAZ reviews and you'll get so many helpful stories telling you to stay away from this pill! And now I'm hesitant to even take bc, so I'm looking for natural solutions..

Pros:

Skin is clearing up (not oily), Bust is slightly bigger, Helping w/ my hirsutism

Cons:

1st wk insomnia along w/ hot & cold flashes, Gassy/Bloated, Slight headaches.

The bad side effects are all gone now. I don't know what my cycle will be like since I just started 3 wks ago. So far so good :) I don't know what the price is since the doctor gave me sample packs. I have insurance so the price shouldn't be that bad.

my skin looks aweful right now!
heavy period
got it free with samples from OBGYN

ive only been using it for a month, so i hope things dont stay like this!! so far, its bad, but i suppose i will continue to see if this is just an initial phase and i definately hope it is!

Everything! This messed with my teen daughter's body--mood swings, anxiety, leg tremors, heart palpitrations, and periods that lasted over 2 weeks. Cystic acne lasted for weeks after she stopped the pill--acne was far worse than when she began!

Teen daughter was put on this by an OB/GYN for acne and it is terrible! All you hve to do is Google "Yaz" and "side effects" and ou will see the list is long and growing longer everyday...the FDA has quite a few complaints already. Skip this and try anything else for your acne.
