Pros:

After one week of taking Diane 35 I saw a significant improvement in my skin. Clear, smooth, NO irritation or redness, reduced sensitivity. People are saying my skin is "glowing"! Also caused my breasts to swell and grow which i am happy about!

Cons:

I am experiencing severe abdominal pains...I started taking the pills the first day of my period as instructed which was 2 weeks ago and I still have my period. I will consult my doctor I even feel a bit bloated.?

I would recommend this product for sure to anyone with mild to severe acne it seems to really work from the inside out and I am happy with the results overall, except of course for the ongoing menstrual type cramps. I feel also that I am retaining more water now.

Pros:

cleared every single spot on my skin, bigger boobs, regular periods. I still can't get over how great my skin looked.

Cons:

my boobs were sensitive and achey, and when i stopped taking it my skin immediately started breaking out

I think its great for acne. My only concern is the breakouts which occured when i went off it. It's been years and i still experience breakouts, so much so that I'm thinking of going back on it to stop these breakouts.

Pros:

I think skin is clearer from this product, although I use Proactiv also, so not sure. Haven't got any kids, so that part is working.

Cons:

MOOD SWINGS, ZERO SEX DRIVE, VERY SORE BREASTS, INCREASED BREAST SIZE, WEIGHT GAIN. My fiance hates this this pill.. We have been bickering at one another since I started taking it.

I'm going off it once my 3 months is up. Very expensive too

Pros:

Gets rid of acne and oily hair/skin.

Cons:

Weight gain! I went from a size 0 to a size 9!

If you want clear skin then go for it! But if you are really cautious about weight gain, then I wouldn't recommend it.

Pros:

Less oily skin and hair

Cons:

tired, upset stomach, no appetite

I have been eating Diane-35 for about a month, and I have noticed that my skin and hair are less oily, but I still have some pimples ... What I am wondering though, is that people that say they gain a lot of weight from eating this pill - is that because of bigger appetite? I know that it is easy to gain weight from all bcp - but I want to make my best by eating healthy and continuing working out a lot.

I haven't tried Diane yet but my doctor prescribed it for my acne yesterday. I didn't want to take this, I told the Dr. that I wanted Tri-cyclen Lo because I was on it before and it worked and I had no side effects as well as the benefit of an effective birth control but he insisted I get Diane. The doctor did not disclose any side effects of Diane but through the research I've done it seems that this product has more harmful and/or unwanted side effects than any other "birth control" pill. Even the pharmacist failed to answer my questions about side effects. I took it as there is something to hide. I won't be taking this medication, I will be going back this week to get the Tri-cyclen Lo. I don't understand why a drug like Diane would even be legal in Canada; it's not legal in the U.S. which is a big clue. I would rather be pimply than have the side effects that I read off of the entries here and other research. My face isn't REALLY bad; it's not worth risking my self-esteem.

Pros:

works for PCOS "victims"... i now have regular periods, and clean smooth skin

Cons:

Weight gain:larger breasts, mid section and thighs, tenderness of breast, TERRIBLE MOOD SWINGS

been on it for over 8 months. Im 20, and hate the weight gain, and terible mood swings. IF you don't have PCOS, don't take it - the risks even my gynae outlined arent pretty - she's planning to take me off it real soon... Recommended: Yes - for PCOS

Pros:

regular periods, weight loss, larger breasts

Cons:

Acne still there, mood swings, high loss of libido and vaginal dryness

I have been on Diane 35 for 6 years. I originally started using it for irregular periods and acne.I found it didn't help with acne at all & know i have had to resort to taking roaccutane for my skin. Very bad mood swings & high loss of libido. Also very bad vaginal dryness. Now have been recommended to get off Dianne as no longer need it for my skin though am a bit worried at what might happen once i get off????

Cons:
