Diane-35 : Oral Contraceptive

i have like 11 of the 10 of the common and less common side effects :(

I am 34 years old and would like to conceive sometime soon, but... looks come first :-) Diane, here I come!

I had read all the reviews about Diane 35 and I don't no what To say because many of the people around here said that acnee was coming back and I'm really afraid because I had acne problem more than 3 years and I used a lot of pills and a lot of dermathologic product without effect. The pills I had taken before they gave me results bu the acne was returning back.I went more often at the dermatolog and finally gave me roaccutane 5-6 months and Diane 35 one year.But I heard a lot of cons about these pills and more about roaccutane.I had taken roaccutane and diane 35 for 4 months and my acne has dissapeared,I had a soft skin and healthy hair but some scars but not really visible.I gave up on roaccutane today because I hurt my ankle leg and I had to take another antibiotics( if you take roaccutane don't take another antibiotics during this, it is written on the prospect) Now I will take only Diane 35 one year and I will see what is happening but I'm afraid that acnee would come back, Because I'm really fine without acnee... and before I was feeling like hell and I was ashamed of my face...Anyway I'm going to make my analysis on Monday and a blood test because of this pills. I must be sure if I'm healthy.Maybe you would choose to make them to ,because roaccutane and Diane 35 are dangerous pills even if they cure acne.I will write back soon..

I have been on Diane 35 since I was 14, I'm currently 19, and have been genrally happy with the resuts. A couple years ago I was having stomach problems and thought it could be related to the Diane 35 so I went off it for 6 months, aside from the mood swings I didn't have any negative effects from going off the pill. My hair didn't fall out and my face didn't go crazy (some acne came back but I expected that). It never completely cleared my skin, but it has done a good job keeping the cysts under conrol. I have only had one or two since going on it and before I used to have them all over my face. As far as remembering to take it everyday, or taking it on an empty stomach I'm terrible at remembering and frequently miss a dose or take it late at night with no food in my tummy and have not noticed any negative effects as a result of this. As far as blood clots go after 5 yrs of more or less consistent use I recently was tested for them and was completely clear!! (Although I have low blood pressure and am very active so that might of helped!) As for the weight gain, aside from going up a cup size (could have been normal puberty though) I have gained about 10-15lb. since starting on it. So I'm not completely convinced it's as a result of the pilll and not just normal weight gain. Hope this helps!!

My Dr prescribed Diane 35 for my hormonal acne. At first I tried the cheapo version of this pill which gave me extremely bad migraines. I went back to the Dr and she said to try actual Diane 35. This worked beautifully for the first (approx) 12 months, my pimples almost completely went. I would get maybe 1 or 2 small pimples a month instead of the 5 to 10 new pimples a day before Diane 35. For once in my life I was happy with my skin. I then started to get weird side effects after those 12 months including headaches, blurred vision (I thought I needed Glasses) and increased vaginal discharge and itching. I thought I had a STD, so I had all the STD tests, which all came back negative. My Dr could not tell me what this could be caused from, so I came to the conclusion the only thing it could be was the pill. So I went off Diane 35 and those side effects have gone completely. I also have felt my mood has been alot better since being off the pill, I feel alot happier and seem to have more energy. However my skin has gone feral since being off the pill, the pimples, blackheads and oil are back at full force. I would recommend women try Diane 35 for great skin but be aware of side effects which can be different for everyone. So now I'm back on the search for something to help my skin....again!!!

I had medium acne during my early 20's and i started taking diane pills when i was 22 because a friend adviced me to use it to control my acne... I was taking this for more than 3 years and from the 2nd year my skin totally cleared... Now im 26, married and planning to have a baby so i have to stop using the pills, and a month after i stopped my cystic acne's started having party on my face, not a big party but i can feel that they are starting to come together and make a big celebration after years of being prisoned... For those who have hormonal acne, this is really a good treatment but not for the long run because eventually one day you have to stop taking it... But i was so happy that time when my skin cleared...

It took me 5-6 months to see the 1st results but since then... zero acne! I took it for 5 years and then stopped just to see if acne would appear again... it did after 3 months! So I definitely took it again. Diane35 saved my face (and some parts of my back), my acne used to be severe back when I was a teenager.

I was put on Dianne by my doctor to get rid of my acne. I was told I wouldn't start seeing results until 3 months had passed. I have been on it for just over 3 months and I'm still seeing nothing, so I was just wondering how long it took to work for everyone else? Because judging by these reviews, it seems to do the trick for the majority of people. My acne keeps me from doing so much, and its the reason for my insecurity and low self esteem. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that it will work. It did make my boobs bigger, which is great.

I have been on diane for five, almost six months. my acne was severe, and came on suddenly when i was seventeen. it was all mostly on my cheeks. since i started taking diane, i have no more active acne. my libido has not changed, it has worked as BC and i have not noticed hair falling out. i have noticed weight gain, but that might not be the pills fault. i also have not noticed a change in my mood.Sometimes after the first day after the seven day break i vomit. it lasts one day and doesn't happen every time. all i have left is scars on my cheeks that unfortunately diane can't cure for me. i definitely reccomend diane to anyone looking to clear up acne. it takes a few months to really clear up your skin, but once it does you will be thankful.

actually I have started using diane 35 when i was 17 to regulate my menses but I really surprised when I noticed how much my skin was getting better and all mentioned that, I used it about one year but when I stopped my skin became bad again Now I back on it again cos I want my skin comeback as before though I didnt get free-facial hair but I worried about future when I want to marry and get pregnant (Iam sorry for my bad english cos Iam Asian i hope you understand everything)
