Pros:

Bigger boobs (due to weight gain I guess)

Cons:

Weight maintained - as I have been trying to loose weight. I know if I wasn't on it, I would have dropped 3 kg but it is so hard now to loose weight.

Well it works well but weight gain is kinda deal break for me too. If anybody has better option to recommend, please feel free.

Pros:

slight increase in breast size

Cons:

serious bloating, nausea, vomiting, spotting, acne breakouts, moody

i'm currently into my third week of birth control and i have not seen any improvements. the first week i've experienced bloating, spotting and an increase in acne (on my back i got huge ones that are painful.) i used to be on yasmin and it worked wonderfully. so i went back on it, and now its a completely different story. i have insurance so for a 3 month supply i paid like 15 dollars.

Pros:

Only 2 to 3 day light periods that were cramp free!!

Cons:

Pricey...

It seems to work well for me, no babies.. It does however not prevent any acne for me and I never had acne before taking birth control. It has been especially bad since I quit taking it about 3 months ago.. Wonder if that's normal??

Pros:

Effective Method of birth control, eventually evens out and works GREAT after about 3 months.

Cons:

First 2 months: CYSTIC acne (and all over), yeast infections, mood swings, weight gain (My husband even notices my bad skin, weight gain, and moodiness)

This is my second time on Yasmin. The first time, I didn't realize the side effects were from Yasmin, because it was my first experience with "the pill". I had the largest pimple I've ever had in my life and now have a deep scare from it. I had three yeast infections in the first 2 months. I gained about 5 pounds. I don't remember being moody. After the first 3 months, my skin cleared and I was yeast infection, & weight gain-free for the following two years. Due to an insurance change, I used samples from my doctor for 6 months, interrupting my Yazmin (the samples were Yaz - loved it). I am back on Yasmin for one month now. I have four large cystic pimples, lots of average ones out lining my nose and chin. I have had two yeast infections this month. Despite increasing exercise and scruitinizing my diet, I have gained 3 pounds. I have been crying for no reason, or for little reason. (I am not pregnant -- checked already!). I don't know if I can take any more

Pros:

better sex drive & less cramps

Cons:

Acne & weight gain.

I was prescribed to go on Yasmin to cure my light acne, but it just ended up getting worse and worse. I should have stopped after the first month when I first realized it wasn't helping, but my doctor told me to be patient and keep going until 3 months. After that, my light acne turned to moderate acne - bumps all on my cheek bones, worse acne than I've ever had before -I'm still trying to get rid of it.

Cons:

acne,crazy food cravings

ive been on this pill for just six months hoping it would make my acne better..after month 5 my acne seemed to just decrease and now i have the worst acne i have ever experianced..im going to stay on it for another 3 months to see if my acne starts to clear but if not i think i may just go off of it

Pros:

Prevents pregnancy, no water retention, helped my migraines

Cons:

SEVERE depression & moodiness, skin tag, breakthrough bleeding

I did get slightly bigger boobs, and no weight gain. It cleared up my face, but I got more breakouts in places I never had acne (neck, chest back). The biggest problem is depression and moodiness. This is making me miserable & reclusive. I am not the same person anymore. I am going to switch now, but not sure what to.

Pros:

at first I noticed less bloating and I knew when my periods were coming.

Cons:

I started taking it for acne and it made it a great deal worse. Horrible cramps and heavier periods.

I will never take it again.

Pros:

not pregnant!! light mood swings, lighter periods, hardly any cramps during my cycle, beautiful complexion!!

Cons:

EXPENSIVE!!! decreased sex drive:(

I have been on Yasmin for 5 years. My periods are much easier to deal with. I used to be curled over in pain from my cramps, and now I hardly get any. The mood swings lasted a month or so, when I first started Yasmin. After that I was fine, actually better than normal!! Less stress and less anxiety compared to Ortho-trycycline. I do agree with the decreased sex drive. I am 25 yrs old and if it wasn't for my fiance, I would probably never think about sex. It just isn't there. I NEVER thought it could be my pill!! It makes sense now!! I might try to switch and see if it changes. Other than that (which is a big deal!) I love the pill:)
