Pros:

The imflammation went down, but probably due the steriod pack I was using for a week.

Cons:

Few headaches, loss of appetite

I assume it's working. I've been using it for one full week. I assume it cleared up my skin a little bit, but now experiencing breakouts again. It's still very early to determine if it's working. Im also using Produce facial cleanser, tazaroc cream at night and clydamicin gel in the morning. Never had severe acne but I hope this stuff works and works fast. I am using Solodyn 135mg once a day.

Pros:

inexpensive

Cons:

horrible headaches (migraines)

Solodyn unfortunately gave me terrible headaches to the point where I had to discontinue my prescription. My dermatologist recommended this product along with a topical gel. I understand how important it is to target acne from both inside and out but this product did not do much for my skin. I am going to go the all natural route and trying supplementing any prescription pills with natural vitamins.

Pros:

Cleared up my face gradually
Got tan quicker

Cons:

Took a while to kick in
Once I got off it my face got worse
Yeast infections

Started taking this in June last year, 115mg a day, didn't see any results at first, a month into it started taking 135mg, no initial breakout or anything. Each month my face got more and more clear and by September October my face was basically spotless. In December my dermatologist suggested I go off of it to see if my face got better, it was great and flawless for about a month but then it got a lot worse which was disappointing. Since then I have tried other medications but none have worked as well as solodyn but it was discouraging that the effects did not last once you stop taking it.

Pros:

Cleared my acne a little, not fully

Cons:

Vertigo, Causes white stains on your teeth, Dry skin

I had severe acne and was put on acutane. Acutane cleared it after the 5th month and kept it clear for a year after stopping the medication. I went back to my doctor after my acne began coming back and he put me on this. I have seen little results as far as clearing my acne, and the side-effects are pretty annoying. Dizziness whenever I stand up and the White bands on the bottom of my teeth are the most bothersome.

Pros:

Cleared acne

Cons:

Had a new yeast infection every month I was on it never had one before and havent had one since stopping a few months ago. Also developed sun spots on my face from sensitivity to light

I did not continue on it related to the side effects. I had cystic acne before using it and it worked great to clear it up.

Pros:

I didn't have the problems some mentioned, like photo sensitivity.

Cons:

Didn't work at all. Made acne worse than EVER.

Bottom line is I just don't think this product did anything to me at all. Not only did it not do anything bad, side effects wise, it didn't do anything good. If anything, my acne is worse than ever. This might be due to the drug, but it might be due to being taken off of my last routine (simple straight up clindamycine, worked fine). Either way, I can say I am angry as can be. I used it to get them off of a select area, but it didn't work at all, and I now have the worst acne ever. Company who made this and dermatalogist shouldn't have a job. As far as severity: It was light before. Now its moderate to severe. I am so upset.

Pros:

It works for me with another medication.

Cons:

A little dizzy with headaches.

It worked for me with SPIRONOLACTO ( which helps with hormones) Together they helped my face clear up and no new breakouts. I used to have those painful cystic ones so I'm glad they are gone. Now if I only knew how to get rid of these deep scars. Oh and It really bugs me when people write a review after 2 days. Give it time before you influence people on here.

Pros:

Easy to take, no side effects besides photosensitivity. Seems to be helping clear it up a little, raken it for about 3 weeks.

Cons:

Not many results, next step is accutane.

May work well for many people, especially young people.
