Cons:
None this far.
I've always had very dry skin and when I started
Dan's regimen my skin started to flake badly due to BP and I couldn't find a moisturizer that could control the flakiness. Since I couldn't find jojoba oil anywhere here and couldn't order it online I heard that EVOO can be used to moisturize the skin too. Well I tried and it works amazingly well, I'm not flaking or having a dry skin problem anymore. ;] I recommend using it like jojoba oil, put about idk five drops in your moisturizer when you moisturize your skin in the morning and evening. And I don't recommend using very heavy moisturizers.

Pros:
Removes make-up
Moisturizes
Easily Available
Smells like food!
Cons:
None
During fall and winter my skin gets crazy dry and this is the only thing that works. It feels soothing when applying to painful dry skin and it soaks right in. It doesn't make my acne worse or better. I usually smear it on with a cotton ball or my finger tips and let it sit for 5 minutes then rinse off in the shower, then I finish my rinsing off with a salicylic acid face wash. Skin is not left greasy but moisturized and healthy looking. I usually do this once a day during cold weather. To make a scrub to get off stubborn flaky skin, mix olive oil with granulated sugar and rub with finger tips.

Pros:
-hydrating the skin
-makes my face softer
-reduces dark circle around eyes
-reduces wrinkles
Cons:
-smells awful
-greasy
-hard to be removed
i used to use Maybelline or Garnier make-up remover but they gave me little bumps under my eyes. Few weeks ago my friend told me to use olive oil so I started using extra virgin olive oil as make-up remover, I just put it on cotton pad and use it to wipe my make-up, the result is amazing! It gets rid of the little bumps.
sometimes rub it all over my face, leave it for few minutes, and wash my face using facial wash. It hydrates my skin and makes it softer.
It also reduces the dark circle around my eyes and reduces the wrinkles as well.

Pros:
Only good if you dont have acne
Cons:
causes blemishes
greasy
I wanted so bad for this to work, but it only made my skin worse. it was heavy and greasy, and didn't even moisturize. i think it made my skin flakier.
But my mom started using olive oil, and her skin looks amazing after using it!
I guess its not good for acne- prone types.

Acne Cure
I've suffered from cystic acne for over 10 years (I'm 30), and extra virgin olive oil is the only thing that has shown me positive results.

SIMPLE IS BEST
I TEND TO HAVE OILLY SKIN OR SO I THOUGHT. I WAS USING PROACTIVE FOR 12 YEARS AND MY FACE, THOUGH WELL EXFOLIATED, ALWAYS BROKE OUT IN CYSTS. AFTER 12 YEARS WITH PROACTIVE I FELT LIKE THE ONLY BENEFIT WAS EXFOLIATION AND NOT TREATING THE CYSTS. IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO GIVE UP ON THE PRODUCT I WAS USING, MY FACE WAS ADDICTED TO IT. BUT FINALLY I SWITCHED TO ARBONNE, THEN TO OIL CLEANSING. I FEEL LIKE THE LESS CHEMICALS I USE, THE LESS "STEPS" I TAKE TO CLEAN MY FACE THE BETTER AND BETTER IT IS GETTING. OLIVE OIL IS A STAPLE IN MY FACE CLEANSING PROCESS NOW. IT REMOVES MY MAKE UP LEAVES MY SKIN MOISTURIZED WITHOUT FEELING OILY. WHEN I NEED A GOOD DEEP CLEANSING I USE A COMBINATION OF CASTOR OIL, DR. BRONNERS, AND OLIVE OIL. BUT WHEN I AM NOT WEARING MAKEUP OR WHEN MY FACE IS NOT SO DIRTY I WASH WITH WARM WATER AND IN THE SHOWER APPLY A LITTLE OLIVE OIL. SIMPLE IS BEST. MY FACE DID GET WHITE HEADS, AND MORE BLACKHEADS CAME TO THE SURFACE WHILE I TRANSITIONED OUT OF THE CHEMICAL CLUB BUT IT HAS SETTLED DOWN NOW AND IS BETTER THAN ITS EVER BEEN.

Pros:
Softens
Moisturizes
Excellent makeup remover
Clears up skin
Cheap, household item
Cons:
The first few times you use it, it seems counterproductive since it's very greasy and oily. But it is non-comedogenic!
I was using olive oil for a while, in conjunction with ziana. That is to say, before i go to sleep I put some olive oil on a cotton pad and then apply the ziana directly. No need for an additional cleanser or moisturizer.
A few weeks ago I switched up my regimen and used purpose cleanser and then a spot treatment for any acne. That was not a good idea. My skin broke out worse than ever. I switched back to olive oil and ziana about a week ago and my skin cleared right up.
Bottom line, I'm not sure if it was the ziana or the olive oil, but in any case olive oil is very very beneficial for the skin. It's something you are bound to have in your kitchen and even if not its easily accessible and cheap. The only thing is it's really greasy on the skin, even though its non-comedogenic. That's why I only use it before bed

Pros:
softens skin
glow
very good if you can't find a moisturizer for acne prone skin
Cons:
-may make you break out if used too much
-don't use during hot days
- oily looking
-kinda piles on face. heavy feeling
-not for moderate to severe acne
- dont apply on pimples
Make sure to rub it in well. I recommend applying 2-3 drops when your face is wet to eliminate the greasiness. Rub in well but not on the spots where you have acne or white heads. Use it at night mostly. You can use it during the day if the weather is dry or cold. It will make you break out in hot weather. If you have another moisturizer, then use that during the day. This is a last resort mostly-at-night sorta thing.

CLEAN FINGERS = Unclogs pores
I used olive oil specially formulated for hair, skin and nails. SUPER IMPORTANT that your fingers are clean and you wipe it off immediately. First, open the pores with warm water and a gentle cleanser. Massage the oil onto an area of the face with CLEAN fingers gently in circular motions. Start with a thin layer than build up when needed. You will feel bits of grime, dirt and sebum getting out of your skin! When all is good, YOU MUST wipe off excess oil and wash off ASAP. Finish off with a toner to get rid of the dirt and oil, and a hydrating moisturiser after. This is the only way I my skin can be unlogged and I do this every week while watching TV lol
Pros:
It can be used like jojoba oil with a moisturizer. Moisturizes skin vey well and is much cheaper than jojoba oil. Extra virgin olive oil DOESN'T clog pores. (Only use extra virgin, not basic olive oil cause that will clog pores)
