Pros:

Great moisturizer
Improves appearance of scars
Shortens life span of zits
Works great in unison with TT Oil

Cons:

*These cons all pertain to the cleansing method*
Had 4 vicious breakouts in a span of 2 weeks.
Acne grew steadily worse

I have used OO as a moisturizer in which I used a few drops mixed with cetaphil and worked brilliantly as my skin is very dry. However I wanted to try the OO cleansing method in which you rub the oil onto your face prior to washing. My 2nd day after beginning this I broke out like no body's business. Large cysts began to form on my upper cheeks and jawline. I'm not one to normally be affected by cysts however this was the exception. Believing this initial breakout was just a reaction to my skin purging out the dirt and oils I decide to continue. This continued to get worse with 1-4 new zits daily. In the past my acne has been relatively mild, a lot of blackheads however 1-3 zits at any which time. So anyways it all came to a great climax with my worst breakout ever, literally ever and I've had some vicious ones in the past. My face was covered with large patches of zits formed in my regular problem areas. I have since cut the oil cleansing out of my regimen and am now struggling to get back on the right track. Buyer Beware!

Pros:

Softens
Moisturizes
Excellent makeup remover
Clears up skin
Cheap, household item

Cons:

The first few times you use it, it seems counterproductive since it's very greasy and oily. But it is non-comedogenic!

I was using olive oil for a while, in conjunction with ziana. That is to say, before i go to sleep I put some olive oil on a cotton pad and then apply the ziana directly. No need for an additional cleanser or moisturizer. A few weeks ago I switched up my regimen and used purpose cleanser and then a spot treatment for any acne. That was not a good idea. My skin broke out worse than ever. I switched back to olive oil and ziana about a week ago and my skin cleared right up. Bottom line, I'm not sure if it was the ziana or the olive oil, but in any case olive oil is very very beneficial for the skin. It's something you are bound to have in your kitchen and even if not its easily accessible and cheap. The only thing is it's really greasy on the skin, even though its non-comedogenic. That's why I only use it before bed

Pros:

Cleared my large scar I had on my chin!!! :)
My circles under meh eye were not as dark

Cons:

My face looks extra oily with it on for a while...

So, lemme break it down for ya: 1) Buy some Olive Oil (duh) 2) Apply it in the area of your scar. 3) Rub it it well! 4) Make sure it has a nice coat on it. 5) Go to sleep. 6) Wake up and see results! :) That's what I did. In three days the big scar was pretty much gone. The scar was really new. I haven't tried it on old ones. TRY IT! Don't put it on your whole face though. You need to test it out in a spot just in case... :)

Pros:

-good for light acne pron skin
-healthy shine
-good as a conditioner for hair (google for directions)

Cons:

-do not use if you have sever acne, start off using jojoba oil first.
-start using olive oil once your skin looks better since its thicker than jojoba oil
-smell

I used to use Jojoba oil, worked really well for 3 months, but i had to switch to pure olive oil cause we only have jojoba in a plastic 4 oz expensive little bottle with crappy lid, but works really well. I started using pure olive oil cause its much cheaper, glass bottle and it carries more volume. After using it for 3 months, it stopped working for some odd reason and planning on going back to jojoba oil tell my face is better. PS:

Pros:

Very moisturizing
Wipes off the dirt and make up BIG TIME
Perfect for damaged, dry and scaled skin
helps acne a little (for some people)

Cons:

Sticky gooey
Hard to remove
does not work for most people

I used this years years ago when my acne wasn't this bad. I had light acne and my problem was dry and red skin because i washed my face too much and didn't use lotions or creams. I put olive oil on my face like a lotion and massage it mostly on my cheeks (driest area) I had the few pimples on my forehead back then. I can't say the olive oil dries them up, because they don't. The olive oil moisturize the skin, so even with a few pimples, my skin looked soft and glowing..I think this remedy is for light or very light acne and not for the serious 10-30 spots on your face. if you have severe acne, i think olive oil can make it worse. Last week, i had really bad acne and i tried the olive oil again. it did absolutely nothing but aggravate my pimples more. it made it worse. once my acne has calmed down and diminish, i'd use olive oil again for bringing back moisture and to even my skin tone. (Its good when mixed with lemon juice) **don't use on severe acne***

Pros:

-hydrating the skin
-makes my face softer
-reduces dark circle around eyes
-reduces wrinkles

Cons:

-smells awful
-greasy
-hard to be removed

i used to use Maybelline or Garnier make-up remover but they gave me little bumps under my eyes. Few weeks ago my friend told me to use olive oil so I started using extra virgin olive oil as make-up remover, I just put it on cotton pad and use it to wipe my make-up, the result is amazing! It gets rid of the little bumps. sometimes rub it all over my face, leave it for few minutes, and wash my face using facial wash. It hydrates my skin and makes it softer. It also reduces the dark circle around my eyes and reduces the wrinkles as well.

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me :( I saw this person on yahoo answers who recommended that people massage extra virgin olive oil vigorously (I used cold pressed) to our faces in up & down motions, claiming it will give you perfect skin. I tried it for like 2 days, the second day I started getting tiny little red bumps, rash like. My mom told me to quit doing that, but I thought it was nothing since it was only a tiny bit and that it would go away if I kept going. Boy do I regret that. The next day after I did it again at night, my whole face was covered in a rash. With tiny whiteheads all over! I know most people believe that olive oil is not comedogenic, but if you have sensitive skin or normal (because I thought mine wasn't sensitive!) you might want to go slow (even if you're using it as a moisturizer) because there is nothing worst than an ugly rash. I still have it as I write this, and lucky me, I have an awards ceremony tomorrow ! Oh well, if this happens to you try Aloe Vera because it helps some. Good luck to you all, keep searching and God will grant you the wish of perfect skin, or something close to it ;)

Pros:

Very moisturizing

Cons:

Not to be used during the day!

I was told to use EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) and I'm glad I did. I love it. It's inexpensive and moisturizes great. The trick is to use a little. Less is more. I was also told to use this as a cleanser...I did and won't do that again. It didn't make me break out more (which surprised me), it just works better as a moisturizer. In the morning my skin looks healthier. I definitely use this at night. Yeah, don't use this during the day!
